REVIEW ON COSMED COSMETIQUE C+M OIL CONTROL SERUM BLEMISH DEFENCE SERUM

Actually i did a Sasa haul last year before i started blogging.  I bought quite many products and it was difficult as my products only arrived  6 weeks later due to the problem of getting approval from the bank.  Gosh, i regretted and will think twice now unless i can't get it from somewhere else.  They have so many cheap things and i bought quite a number and throw out many products that i found unsuitable later.

Among products that i bought was this C+M oil Control Serum Blemish Defence Serum made in Korea due to many fantastic review inside.  I keep trying and trying this product a few time because i can't believe that it  just doesn't work for me but now i have finally to just review this.

The bottle is actually made from plastic and it doesn't come with a box.  It comes inside a plastic bag and with a card containing the details.  There is nothing at the back.  Sorry for no picture as I threw the card into the bin long ago.  The white cap is hard while the greenish is actually transparent so that you can see what is inside.

If you open the cap, then you will actually see the "round" head and just cut the "round" head off and you will get this.  That is to be able to dispense the products out and so that the cap can fit properly.  You will hear the sound of the 'click' when you close the cap.

The details at the bottle read that it is suitable for oily, mixed and acne prone skin and it is made in Korea.  The serum last really long.  It is transparent and blend with the face.

The absorption is medium.  I have to massage it to get the absorption rate  it higher.  It is scented but the smell disappear after few hours.  Still, i don't really like scent that is like those cough syrup.  Overall, it was only okay for me.  It didn't manage to rid of my acne or is it oil control.  It doesn't break me out though.

I think this product doesn't work for me.  I guess it is because i am living in such humid and hot weather that this product doesn't work as it does for others.  Most of the rave are from weather that is different from me and i didn't take that into consideration before buying it.

I guess i will just stick with my aspirin and clindamycin that works better than this serum for me.  My skin is just stubborn.

REVIEW ON MONTAGNE JEUNESSE CUCUMBER&APPLE REVIVING MASQUE

MONTAGNE JEUNESSE

The packet is enough to apply on my face.  The mask smell of green apple which i do love.  I can still smell the green apple when i applied it on my face.  Smell yummy.   Besides, the smell is really relaxing and soothing.  The mask dried up quite fast and it will turn into greyish white from the original colour of light green.  So, i will wash once it turn white.  Don't leave any longer on your skin or it will be very drying on your skin.  My face was feeling clean and refresh.  It is quite easy to remove it with water.  The mask doesn't stain my towel or leave residue too.  After washing the mask off, one can follow up with serum or sheet mask.  I just prefer the refreshing feeling and the smell of the wonderful green apple of clay mask and it soak up the oil on my oily t-zone.

As my skin is combination, acne prone and sensitive, i do use clay mask to clean my face to avoid clogged pores.  I don't go for facial so this is how i normally do my pampering session at home.

OMG, ugly bare skin > <

HISHOP-SATISFIED YOUR LUST FOR ONLINE SHOPPING

Welcome to my blog. I hope you do like my new layout and some new features in this blog. I know my previous one was really ugly and not user friendly at all =( Anyway, thanks everyone. I really appreciate your comments and they really mean so much to me.

Today I am going to share with you about HiShop.

HiShop is actually an online shopping website that offers original products. They keep increasing the number of brands offer inside their shop which I think is good. Most of the brands are usually not available in Malaysia for examples Jelly Pong Pong and Candydoll. Well, if you are living in the jungle like me, then you will definitely appreciate online shopping since these are the places where I can feast my eyes on and buy things.

(click on the picture if they are too small)

They offer free shipping with RM50 purchases and you will get two samples that you can choose for every purchase! They changed the samples quite often and there are usually full size samples such as TT mask and the famous Twistband. There is even Cash On Delivery where you only pay when the products arrive on your door step but that applied only for those living in Klang Valley.

They have loyalty rewards, customer reviews and blog reviews where you can use the points to buy things inside the website. They also always have many competitions at the their HiShop Facebook page to rewards their customer.

To log in their website is really simple. Just log in with your Facebook account or you can choose the difficult way that is by emails. It is easy to navigate inside the website. What I like about the upgrade HiShop website is that their instructions come with photo which is very much easy to follow. Well, I don’t like to read a lot of words and having pictures are really helpful.

Sales!  Who doesn't like sales? So you can buy them much cheaper. Their customer service is really good. I was only asking some stupid questions and they replied me in just two days. I thought it would take 2 weeks for someone to reply to my questions.

Oh, about the box. You don’t have to worry about products leaking as they wrap it so securely that you even think it is too much for just a small package. Your products will come in the super girly pink box =).

See they wrap it even if it is so small and tiny.  You can trust that your products will arrive securely!

Lastly, you can have a look at the products reviews =) .

Check out HiShop today =).  You can check out Hishop Malaysia Facebook Page and Hishop Website
Happy shopping =)

MY DIET FOR A 23 INCH WAIST

korean diet , slimming diet

When it comes to being thin, most would say being thin is because of good genes. Well, just as having good genes for skin, one would blame it all on the build of what our ancestor had given to us. One might have given good genes but if you do not take care or maintain it, of course the good genes will just go to waste.

I may not be the best person to tell you the right way to go on a diet since I am not even a medical student but I will share with you my way of diet. I wouldn’t say it is the best but this is what I normally eat. My waist is 23inches and I can tell you I rather have a bigger waist because it so hard to buy pants and skirts in Malaysia!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate shopping for pants or skirts as those that fits me is those low cut pants. I used to have a bloating stomach but I don’t have it now.
So, here goes the list of my ant waist diet. I hope it doesn’t scare you.

Breakfast

A small bowl of lentils ( red kidney beans/mung beans) with sandwiches (two slices of whole meal bread with cheddar cheese+ ½ tomato(skin removed) )
or
tea/ black coffee with Taiwan pancake ( flour + onions leaves)
or
tea/ black coffee with a bowl of vermicelli (only with cabbage+carrots)
or
tea/ black coffee with 1 slices of homemade pizza ( topping with different colour peppers+ onions+ mozarrella cheese+ tomatoes+ pizza sauce)

I don’t take milk, mayonnaise, salad sauce or Nescafe.
I am not sure about the goodness of salad as I don’t eat salad.

Morning tea
(To have after 1 hour after breakfast)

Fruits-oranges, grapes, kiwi, raisins, apples, watermelon, green apples (favourite fruits for those on diet)

Lunch

A bowl of rice, soup (ABC or lotus roots or old cucumber + lean meat),steamed fish with lady fingers (green vegetables for ex asparagus, long beans, spinach)
Or
A bowl of rice, water tofu (topping with slices mushroom) ,steamed fish with cabbages (any green vegetables)
Or
A bowl of rice, pumpkin (with little garlic) , eggplants + steamed chicken eggs (mushroom+minced meat)
Or
A bowl of rice, fried dumpling (green peas+minced meat+ carrots) ,steamed fish a lot of zucchini with spinach
Or
Vinegar sushi rice, nori , eggs, zucchini , carrots , steamed fish with hot green tea

I don’t sauté the ingredients for soup. Don’t use bones to cook the soup as there would be more uric acid.(uric acid is harmful to our body)
I don’t eat the intestines of animals.
I don’t like cucumber actually but I will force myself to eat it if I am eating fried food.

Tea
(To have after 1 hour after lunch)

Fruits-oranges, grapes, kiwi, raisins, apples, watermelon, green apples (favourite fruits for those on diet)

Or

Green tea with three pieces of high fibre biscuits

Or

A handful of nuts like macadamia, almond or hazelnut. NO peanuts. Pistachio can be taken more than one handful as it will cause toxic inside the body.
Or
Sweet potatoes soup (no sugar) / steamed tapioca
Or
A small bowl of snow fungus
Or
A small bar of dark chocolates

Tea is a must in my life. It is bad if I don’t get to eat.
I don’t eat anything with peanut butter now as they give me bad skin.

Recipe for the snow fungus HERE

Dinner

Pan mee with cabbages, a little of anchovies

Or

chappati / Tosei with dhal and plain water

Or

spaghetti with spaghetti sauce & some vegetables

Or

rice with vegetables soup

At night, I eat like a pauper but it does not mean you can skip having dinner! If you don’t want to look old, make sure you have your dinner.

Of course I love sweet food such as New York cheesecake, macaroon and everything sweet but I will only eat that once a month for tea or dessert.

The same goes for ice cream. I will only have it once per month because I tend to finish the whole box of 1L once I start eating them. I can’t control myself when it comes to ice cream.

If you notice, I don’t eat chicken. It is not that I hate them. In fact I love fried chicken but I only eat them once a month. Besides, I only eat maximum two pieces of them.

Other than that, I will sure that I had eaten all the colours of vegetables and fruits.
I wouldn’t eat more than 3 eggs per week.
Not more than a handful of anchovies too.
I don’t eat sweets. Even if I do, it will only be two or three sweets per month.

What a long entry… I hope that it doesn’t bore you. Do you have a diet like me?

MY DAY AND NIGHT SKINCARE PRODUCTS

For the past many years I had been trying so many products mainly from drugstore.  Yeah, Watsons and Guardian is my favourite places to shop for them.   I will never fail to buy each time I got into Watsons and my wallet will just cry each time.  Well, I had bad skin and so I keep on looking for the “magic potion” to cure them.  Recently, I tone down the amount of products I use as I finally have found some of my favourites.

To share, I have combination (normal on cheeks + oily on T-zone), acne prone and sensitivity.  Most people misunderstand that sensitivity means sensitive to certain chemical ingredients.  My sensitivity is hereditary.  Not only do i breakout or flushed because of certain chemicals, i also turned red easily when i am shy or feeling hot.  My skin is naturally thinner than normal people and this can't be fix.  Even some natural and organic products can make me flare up with redness all over.

Normally, if I go for facial analysis, the beautician will either ignore the fact that I have sensitive skin or ignore that I have acne prone skin and not see my skin as overall.  That is one reason I avoid “facial” now.  By right, I wanted to see a good dermatologist but I took matters into my own hands and luckily nothing bad happened to me.  I wouldn't say my skin is super duper fantastic but it is the best I have after this 10 years of battling acne.

My morning/day skincare routine

1.Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
I raved about this a few times.  It calms down my sensitive skin and doesn’t dry out my cheeks.  Just that it is not enough for my t-zone.  I find that I couldn't use cleanser meant for combination or oily skin as they tend to dry my skin too much. However, don’t expect this to clear up the acne or pimples you have.  Since it moisturize my skin, I can even skip on moisturiser.  I heard that not everyone suits this cleanser but it works on me. Review here

2.La Roche Posay Anthelios 60
It is super ultra light sunscreen that is really just like the light lotion.  It is expensive but worth the money spend.  I bought mine from the strawberrynet.com  and it is my most expensive sunscreen ever.  This is my daily sunscreen because this doesn’t contain physical blocker( zinc ozide or titanium oxide) which clogged my pores.  I prefer chemical sunscreen as they don't have the white residue that make me white. However, i do use physical blocker type of sunscreen if i am going out swimming at the sea.  Review here

3.*Mycin clindamycin (optional)
Opps, i forgot the mycin picture but you can check the photo from my review on it.  This is the antibiotic I use when I have breakout.  I am not suppose to use this everyday as the bacteria may just get immune to it and it won’t work anymore.  Make sure that the skin is dry before applying too. Just spot treat it.  As I am aging into my late 20s, my skin couldn’t handle the benzoyl peroxide.  Benzoyl peroxide dry my skin and left big painful marks on me and the acne still wouldn't disappear. Review here

4.Lipbalm/Mentholatum lip ice sheer colour/Kose Q10 pure medicated UV cut
Lipbalm is a must as my lips will chap like crazy since it is always so dry.  I tried quite a few and still find mentholatum one of the best.  Some leave a weird taste on my tongue and i don't like it.  The Kose Q10 i bought it in my sasa haul last year and it was quite cheap. About RM3 and it is scent free and taste free.  Just that it is not so moisturising.

Since my skin is sensitive, i can't use too many skincare products or do the fantastic skincare 'layering' on my skin.  My skin will just flare up or get clogged easily.  Besides, applying those serum will just get "wasted" on my skin since sensitive skin like mine would not be able to absorb anything or they might worsen my current skin state.  I have to wait until the skin calm down.

Night skincare routine

1.Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
I use this too at night. Sometimes, I use the Tebe lavish soap when I am bathing and forget about carrying the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser into the bathroom.  I don't makeup and i use sunscreen which is not waterproof.  So, no worries about not cleansing enough.

2.*Mycin clindamycin (optional)
Only on areas with break out.

3.Senka Hoshitsu Lotion S
This is all in one moisturizer and it is really light and provides enough moisture to my skin. I am using the one for combination to oily skin.  I applied this all over my face but avoided the area with breakouts. Review here

4. Vaseline
To moisturise my dry lips.  I didn't review this though.  Maybe next time.

My night routine is really simple and I am only using my own bare hand to wash my face. It actually works fine although I want to try the Clarisonic too > <   .  For the mean time, I couldn't do the layering for fearing that my skin would have ‘angry’ acne popping up again.

My acne is mostly at my cheeks and a friend told me that it is due to hormone imbalance. I guess it can’t be help and what I can do is try to ‘tune’ it by sleeping enough, eat balance food and exercise.

Besides the daily skincare I usually use aspirin mask, mud mask, blemish mask and natural DIY mask (tomato mask and lemon mask) twice weekly. I don’t really like the egg mask since it is smelly and sticky. I am not really a fan of sheet masks for the reason they are always too big on my face. I don’t use scrub, whitening and ageing products temporarily. Yeah, of course I wanted to brighten my face that has freckles but unfortunately I can't. I will venture into anti ageing products soon as I am already in my late 20s.  I avoided eye cream since the last serious allergic I had last year. I am kind of paranoid to try eye cream and may have to go through the "pain" again. Let's just say my eye bags is there but i can't do anything about it for the moment.

My bare face before going to sleep.  This is my current skin now. Not edited.  Hopefully it doesn't creep you out. > <

My skincare products will change again in a few months time since I like to stray. I am still tweaking and trying the Biotherm Pure.fect.

Mind sharing your skincare day and night skincare products with me?  Who knows i might find some gems hidden.

TIPS FOR SKIN WHITENING

While the westerner loves their skin tan, we Asian prefer fair. Well, at least not darker than our natural skin tone right? Well, I haven't found anyone who wants to get any darker than they already are in Malaysia.

The common question of people asking me would be how did I stay fair in such a weather although I think I am just normal. Surprisingly, someone asked me to get "tan" to add some colour to my pale skin as I looked like a vampire when I was in my secondary school. Others will ask me the secret to my fair skin and I joked that I "bleached" my skin with Klorox. Once upon a time, I was clueless about sunscreen or sunblock and thus have some freckles that has yet to disappeared as I am still “fixing” the skin problem one by one.

We usually find whitening, brightening skincare in Asia. Well, it would definitely get attention here in Asian rather than "tanning products". No one wants to be tan here even if one is born with tan skin =p. Everyone wanted to be a bit fairer or just stay the same skin colour that they are.  At least i have not hear anyone saying that they want to be as dark as the charcoal yet.

I do believe that diet do plays a big role in having fair skin. Who doesn't want porcelain skin and be fair right? Well, beauty needs effort. It is not magic .  I would say maintaining something is much harder than getting it. How much time and effort you have for your skin does show. Food and lifestyle do play a role even when you have the best skincare in the whole world.  So, i am going to share my secret for fair skin.  I  "bleach" my skin everyday.

1, 2, 3 ...

Hahaha...eat oranges or food containing high vitamin C everyday! I don't know about the vitamin C tablets cause i prefer fresh fruits.

Of course we have heard a lot about the benefits of Vitamin C from fresh fruits such as lemon, oranges, kiwi and papayas provides you with fair and beautiful skin. However, vitamin C is usually easily destroyed by heat so cooked food do not contain as much benefits as they do in fresh fruits.

Skin whitening products are also usually made from Citrus fruits and are thus acidic. So, if you have acne problems or sensitivity, I would suggest you to avoid using any whitening products first. They could worsen your acne! Treat your acne first before trying any whitening products. That include kiwi skincare products. Much that I do love to eat them, I usually avoid Kiwi if I got break out or my skin will never heal from those annoying scars.

As for food intake, fruits high in Vitamin C is good for your skin as it actually whiten your skin in long run. It will not only make you fairer but also brighter after some time. I notice that i am much fairer if I consume more oranges everyday. An orange a day will make you fairer and prettier too. Well, if you don't like oranges, maybe go for Lemon and honey? They taste really great. Food intake and skin products will have to go together to target your skin and what you want to achieve. Their effect would be much faster ^^.

This is just my personal experience and unprofessional view on certain things.

REVIEW ON LOREAL LUCENT MAGIQUE BB SKIN LUMINATING BB CREAM

LOREAL LUCENT MAGIQUE BB SKIN LUMINATING BB CREAM

This is the first time i tried BB cream coming from Loreal.  Before that, i had heard many not so good review about this BB cream.  This BB cream claimed to self adjust to every skin tone which i of course do not believe it the moment i press the bb cream out of the tube.  The cream is pure white with tiny capsules like scrub.

It claimed to minimises pores, smoothen skin texture, covers spots, reduces the appearance of fine lines, even skin tone, luminous finish, 24 hours of hydration, all day comfort, light feel texture and spf 20+++.  It is suppose to make the skin glows from within, all day light feel and radiant complexion.

LOREAL LUCENT MAGIQUE BB CREAM
the swatches.  I have not blend it in circular mode.

The BB cream contains bb capsules that when activated will self adjust to every skin tone.  Personally, i tried this twice.  The first time, it was a total failure as i look totally white like a ghost and i had to apply another darker tone bb cream on top making me looking a little better but still white.  The mistake was i applied it like how i normally just apply any bb cream. Dot on the photo head and just swipe across.

The second time, i realise that it may have something to do with my application to turn the white beads into color close to my skin.  I have to apply it in circular method and break the capsules like a scrub with tiny beads into colour to our skin.  Keep going around and around in circular mode( like clockwise) until the colour turn from white to yellowish.  I am not sure how it will turn on other skin.  It turn into my skin colour from being white at first.  I didn't have breakout that day so i am not sure if it will cause me allergies.  It does illuminate the skin but not sure about oil control as my T-zone was a little oily after 8 hours.

So here is the bb cream on my face.  Sorry, nothing on my face except the bb cream.

Overall i think it is not bad except that there should be printed where the consumer are told how to apply the bb cream or i think most will apply BB cream the usual way instead of applying it in circular mode until the colour changes.

REVIEW ON BURT'S BEES RICHLY REPLENISHING COCOA& CUPUACU BUTTERS BODY LOTION

It smell really nice. I can say that it smell like chocolates since it is cocoa butter.  The lotion is milky white and it absorb really well.  It is not greasy and oily.  Just that the moisturisation effect doesn't last that long on my leg since my leg is dry like desert.  I love the smell of chocolate that i feel like licking my own legs?

Burt's Bees products are organic with no chemical.  So, if you do not like any chemical things, do try Burt's  Bee lotion. Overall i think it smell great but the moisturise does not last long.
As for me, I am too lazy to apply anything after bathing so that is why my legs are dry.  I would just slap on those "whatever products my face doesn't like" on them since i don't like to waste products.  Besides, my mum finishes her products so slow and to her, i am Overboard in the "vain categories".   Having more than 3 skincare products are considered vain to her?  My gosh, i think most people are vain now.Oh, So, my poor or lucky legs to get all those skincare meant for the face.  hahaha

REVIEW ON MELVITA NECTAR BRIGHT BRIGHTENING ESSENCE AND BRIGHTENING CREAM

Melvita's Brightening Cream and Brightening Essence are Melvita new organic brightening range, Nectar Bright. This range uses the five exceptional white flowers for an even-toned luminous complexion.  The Nectar Bright range utilizes active ingredients to help tackle pigmentation, dark spots and premature aging that can result from exposure to environmental elements and harsh UV radiation.

I went to a skin consultation and the beautician was horrific that i have pigmentation on my right side of my face.  Well, beautician will always overly act out on our skin when it is not even that serious to begin with.  Over with that, i managed to claim the Melvita cream and essence after searching my phone for the photo after 15 minutes.  I become nervous and was wondering why can't they just let me have it?  It is just 5 packets of 2ml cream and 5 packets of 2ml essence.  They claimed it to worth Rm130.  Well, i saw a lot of people were complaining that is 10 packets of 2ml does not even look like it is worth RM130.  Well, if according to maths, the cream 10ml would worth RM53 and the 10ml essence would worth RM70.So, RM53+RM76= RM129
For that kind of price, i would expect that it really does the job in getting rid of my pigmentation.
The samples comes in sachets.  Personally, it would be a better idea if it could come in a 10ml in a bottle.

I got it after some hassle =(.  It wasn't a good day for me to collect samples as i had trouble in two counters but lets not dwell on it already.

The Brightening essence is quite watery with a nice flowery smell.  The cream also smell the same except that it is more creamy.  Sorry, the picture is not clear and i didn't use it.  I don't use cream cause cream cause me clogged pores.  My pores clogged too easily.

Here is my photo of the pigmentation, actually it is my freckles.  I had freckles over my cheeks when i was young but they disappeared when i accidentally discovered the "secret" to get rid of them.  Now, i am too lazy so the right side came back again.  Yeah, more skin trouble =(  .  All because i am so lazy to use sunblock.

I think it does help with my dark spots but it doesn't get rid of it completely since my dark spots are those consider extreme stubborn.  It really take a long of time to get rid of it completely.  Since i only 5 packets that lasted me about a week, so that is all i could see.  The bright brightening essence doesn't irritate and dry the skin out.  So, i think this is suitable for those who are looking for natural, organic products after solving acne problems if you don't mind the price tag.

I don't really like to use brightening or whitening cream since they usually doesn't help me much but irritate my acne prone and sensitive skin.  I usually don't advocate using whitening or brightening products for those with acne prone skin since i went through those problems before myself.  I want to be fairer but the pimples just won't go away when i am on whitening products.  (seems like Asian are obsessed about having fair skin)

Brightening Cream RM215/40ml

REVIEW: MELVITA ROSE EXTRAORDINARY WATER

picture from Melvita website

I got a 28ml sample of this from The Juniper Journal beauty box.  I saw mixed review about this extraordinary water and was wondering whether to try it.  Then again, nothing to lose and i tried it on half of face incase i break out.

This extraordinary rose water is watery and something like the Japanese Senka Hoshitsu lotion.  I read that this extraordinary water is raved over in western countries but it is not popular in Malaysia since it is so expensive.  I find it moisturising and should be just applied on the face like moisturisers and not swipe it over the face.  Since this is lightweight like watery gel, it is quite cooling and easily absorbed after applied over the face especially when the skin "cracked" and with skin that just doesn't like anything creamy.  My skin dislike cream and tend to break out with anything called cream =(  so i always steer clear of it.  Cream is like poison to my skin so i don't use anything cream.  It is expensive to use it as mask since i read somewhere it cost Rm79 because it is also an organic and natural products.

It smell of rose which is the first ingredients and the second ingredients is lemon.  Lemon can be irritating so try to do a test patch first incase if you are not suitable to it.  Overall, rose water is okay and known for soothing dry skin and will be extraordinary if your skin is dry and in need of light moisturiser.  I don't think it could help with anything called pigmentation, acne or pimples.  I tried it when my skin was very dry to the point of flakes came out and it is very good and soothing to that area but for the oily area, it doesn't help =P  .  I think it will be good as toner for people with dry skin.

Another affordable dupe that i would say would be the Senka Hoshitsu lotions which are much kinder to the pocket but Hoshitsu lotion is not a natural or organic product.

28ml samples from the Juniper Journal box.  ^^  Appreciate it very much.  It is not a sponsored review.

TIPS: WHY SHOULD YOU START USING ANTI AGING PRODUCTS TODAY?

Everyone wanted a flawless and a healthy looking skin.  As we age, we put more demand on our own appearance because of our work and demand from the society since looking good is percussion to a successful life.  In our teens, we wanted acne free skin.  In our 20s, we do not have much time for skin or many of us are battling adult acne.  When we reach 30th birthday, we wanted a younger looking skin.  No one wanted to look old.  It is alright to be 30 or even 40 years old but looking like a 70 years old grandmother is definitely a NO!  I think every woman would scream and throw glasses at anyone that ever say that she looks like a 70 years old grandmother. I know i would!  On the other hand, we would be glad if people say that we look much younger than our real age.

This when i think that anti aging products are created at the first place and will continue to be in demand because no one wants to look old.  We want to stay looking and delay the sign of aging.  First of all, many are worried about if we are too young or too old to ever start using anti aging products.  Well, our needs maybe different in our 10s, 20s, 30s and 40s but one is similar is that prevention is better than cure.  I think one should not wait until all the problems start appearing to start the anti aging regime.

If you are in your teens or early 20s and do not have any fine lines appearing on your skin, don’t start denying that you do not need to use any anti aging products on your skin. I would say that it important to prevent wrinkles from happening and that is when one product comes into mind that is sunblock or sunscreen. Unlike many years ago where sunscreen are cream and cause clogged pores, now there are hundreds of light weight sunscreen with high SPF and PA that will help to block the destruction cause by the UV light to the skin. This product is definitely a must to maintain a youthful skin. BB cream, CC cream, foundation or even powder are not enough to block the harmful sunlight so always use a sunscreen or sunblock everyday.

If you are in your late 20s or 30s with dry skin, then go ahead and start using anti aging products as they are much more moisturizing to the skin. It will help with preventing the formation of fine lines since dry skin cause wrinkles to appear faster than those with oily skin.

If you are 40s and beyond of course I do not have to mention about using anti aging products anymore as it is a must to target all the concerns- Pigmentation, dark spots and even wrinkles. Look for products that contain retinol, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, hydroxy acids, niacinamide or peptides.

Ingredients such as hydroxyl acid help to combat problem like rough, acne prone skin and they actually combat aging at the same time as they renew the skin by removing the upper layer of old, dead skin, stimulate the growth of smooth and even pigmented new skin. Vitamin E is commonly use to heal wounds and of course we don’t wait until you are 40 years old to start or suitable to use hydroxyl and vitamin E that actually act as anti aging products too besides combating problem like acne and blemishes.

With so many choices of ingredients that help to combat aging and we no longer have all those heavy anti aging cream that are meant for older woman 10 years ago, I think it there is no reason why one should not use any anti aging products until they reach 40s.

REVIEW ON MONTAGNE JEUNESSE DEAD SEA MINERAL MUD MASK

I am very happy that i was sent some of Montagne Jeunesse products to use.  I would say that their mask is one of the best drugstore mask around.  For only RM6.90 one can reuse the products few times and also because they are natural and really works.  Their blemish mask always finish whenever i wanted to buy them.

There is pictures instruction on the back of the packet.  Good for people who doesn't like to read too much.

Instruction to apply the mask: Apply to a cleaned face and leave to dry for 10-15 minutes. Wash face when the colour turned light blue.

Dead Sea Mineral Mud Mask is made from natural ingredients and you will get two sachets for the price of one.  It is one of the range under Face Food.  Yeah, they actually have few range. ^ ^  You will be spoilt with all the choices.

The dead sea mineral mud mask clean the skin with seaweed, aloe vera, kaolin, glycerin, dead sea salt, latic acid and bentonite clay which i think are all good ingredients for oily or combination skin.  I wouldn't suggest one to use it for dry skin.  The instruction is in form of picture which it easy to read.  Even lazy bump like me can understand the simple instruction.  Don't leave a mud or clay mask on the face more than the suggested time or it will be super drying.  The skin might even peel later.

The packet comes in two packet which is easy since mud can dry fast if you don't use all at once.  One packet is enough for one usage on my face.  It is also for travelling.  One don't have to carry one big jar during travelling ^^.

The Dead sea mineral Mud mask is actually blue and smell like those blue hair cream that our father or brother would put on their hair.  It is fine with me but some may not like it.  The texture is mud like and so it is easy to apply and wash off.  It doesn't stain the towel too.  There is also the cooling feeling once you apply it on the face and it is more cooling when you wash it of.  I do love the feeling very much.  The clay does absorb all the oil and made my pores smaller.  The mask isn't that drying too(make sure you wash off after 15minutes) .  Although that it doesn't aggravate my sensitive skin, I don't find that the redness of my acne get reduced.  So, if you are looking to reduce pimples, i still think that the Blemish mud mask work the best ^ ^.
