Product Description
A remarkable moisturizing gel cream that nourishes dry skin barrier while promoting a hydrate and healthier skin complexion.

The Highlight:

How To Use
Dispense a pea-sized amount of the cream into the palm. Apply on cheeks using gentler circular motion. Apply on forehead and the rest of the face.

Packaging: A nice box with details in English.  The product comes in a plastic bottle that dispense via the unique mechanism as to keep the product fresh and we don't need to dip our fingers into it.

It contains ceramide to helps with skin healing and keeping moisture.

Other ingredients such as panthenol, shea butter, allantoin, aloe vera&Saccharide Isomerate are all known to provide long lasting moisture to the skin.

Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate is an emollient for skin moisture.

The rest the ingredients are for texture and preservatives. 

Texture: Opaque white lightweight soft cream  that melt into the skin without any residue.  No added fragrance so it smells like most scentless products.

Review: It is a very gentle retinol moisturiser for everyday usage.  The ingredients in this products provides enough moisture without adding any other heavy cream.  I find it non irritating, doesn't burn my skin, no flaky skin, makes my skin looks brighter, smoother, reduce fine lines and even out skin tone.  It is not for preventing acne though so I do need to use my other acne products with it.  I avoid using applying retinol after I use strong BHA&AHA.

Overall:It is a good starting retinol anti aging products without the irritation that comes with stronger retinoid product.

The ingredients in this clean my brush is gentle but strong to clean brush.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine is very well tolerated by the skin and so mild that it is internationally recommended for use in products for use by babies and infants. It is also suitable for those prone to eczema and sensitive skin.

Scent: It smells powdery and dries fast.

Review: It is easy to use to clean the brush without using water.  It cleanses the brushes well, doesn't leave any residue and my brushes still feel soft without dryness.  It is really useful to carry it to clean brushes and doesn't need to leave it out to dry.

Overall: A very affordable waterless brush cleanser that is very effective.

This is a packet of bugs.  Yes, it is the periostracum cicadae. It is also known as cicada slough.

It is a traditional medicine to treat atopic dermatitis which is eczema.  It comes from very natural source and not made in laboratory.

Atopic dermatitis (eczema) is a skin condition that causes dry, itchy and inflamed skin. It is more common in young children but can also appear at age.  It is long lasting, can flare sometimes but not contagious. 

periostracum cicadae (cicada slough) is the translucent shell, which is shed after the eclosion of the larvae of periodical cicadas (Hemiptera: Cicadidae Cryptotympana atrata Fabricius).
It is said to contains plentiful chitin.

Review:  I got it from traditional medicinal shop by mentioning the Chinese word for it "Chan Tui".

The recommended ways to consume it is grind it and eat the powder with porridge.  The other way is eat it fresh but  can't do it either 😂.  So, just boil it like tea and drink the water.  One has to drink it everyday and constantly actually.

Taste: It is like biting into fingernails kind of feeling.  At least, it tastes and smell herbal.  It is just that looking at the bug skin does give feeling or 'bug'.  Drinking it tastes like herbal. It is yellowish clear liquid after boiling.  I am not going to say that it is miracle since it does take time to see effects.  It takes a month of everyday drinking to help to reduce skin irritation and inflammation.  Also you will also need to avoid food that cause inflammation and also use suitable skincare products.

Review: Located in front of Chong Hwa school, it is hard to find parking.  I found this shop by looking at some luxury cars stopping to buy noodles.  It has simple comfortable interior shop.  The shop is small but enough for a few tables to sit and have meals over there.  Service is top notch fast and friendly.  I didn't know that utensil is at the counter but they guide me to it.  Novice of self service utensils 😂

The speciality about this Ming Hiong shop is their kolo noodles.  It comes with fried wonton and delicious handmade pork ball.  Their coffee is pretty good too.  The noodles is RM6 and coffee is RM1.50-RM2 (sorry can't remember the exact price).  I also like that it comes in ceramic bowls.

I went back a few times on different time and their quality control is good since it tastes equally good each time.

Fresh scent of mint which disappeared once dries down.

It has ph of 5-6.   It is a good exfoliating toner for oily skin type and during summer.  It helps to reduce my skin redness and acne breakouts.  It is also suitable for those that like tea tree, not allergic to the ingredients and have acne prone skin.

Review: Need to shake the bottle up to mix the oil and water layers together.  Light greenish liquid with slight oil appreance with scent of citrus.  With half of the dropper, it leaves a slight dewy apperance on my skin.  I find that it speed up healing, reduce whiteheads,blackheads and keep my skin clear.  With underground acne, it does help to speed up the duration it comes up to the surface.

It is a great serum to reduce acne and for people that like tea tree, centella asiatica and has no problem with the ingredient list.

The not safe ingredient is Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate which is very low in the list.

It has high centella asiatica (70.78) to speed up healing of acne prone skin and keep the skin moisturise.  Niacinamide and other plant ingredients are to reduce the severity of breakouts and prevent breakouts. 

There is low BHA, AHA and PHA to reduce breakouts on skin.

Other ingredients such as ceramide and eggplant does help to keep the skin hydrated.

Still do check out since there are some essential oil in this cream which some very sensitive skin will find irritating.

Texture: It is a soft watery cream that has light scent of tea tree.  The finishing is slightly dewy and very comfortable.

Review: It is a nice moisturiser that doesn't sting, doesn't cause redness and doesn't clogged my pores.  My skin is hydrated throughout the day.  It does speed up healing, reduce breakouts and brighten skin from those acne scars(PIH&PIE).  It doesn't pile under makeup and under sunscreen.

Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate- is a new generation, chemical sunscreen agent
bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine(Bemotrizinol ) is an organic UV filter found in over-the-counter sunscreen products. It primarily absorbs UV-A rays.

It is a chemical sunscreen that doesn't have white cast.
It does have Linalool, Geraniol, Limonene which are essential oil

The rest the ingredients whcih are plants (cica, tea tree, rice, vitamin E) are for hydration, emulsifier and preservatives. 

Texture: Soft opaque white lotion that turns transparent once rubs on face without any residue.  It does have slight tea tree scent that fades off.

Review: It goes on very smooth on the skin, feels moist, no stickiness, adhere to skin and does not have white cast.  It does protect my skin from sun ray and does not clogged my skin.  My skin didn't get irritated or red with this sunscreen.  Then I don't have problem with tea tree since my skin likes it.  It works under makeup and doesn't cause pilling. I can remove it easily with my oil cleanser.

Overall: A sunscreen for oily acne prone skin that doesn't have white cast.

Review:  Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen-not free, silicone free , fungal-acne (malassezia)-not safe 

The non fungal safe ingredient being Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate.

There are also Limonene, Linalool which are essential oil fragrance.

This cleanser uses Lauryl Hydroxysultaine as gentle surfactant which are found in baby shampoo.

Sea salt and snail Secretion Filtrate for gentle cleansing on ance prone skin.

Other ingredients are for hydration and preservative.

Texture: It has transparent gel cleanser that foam up very little with water.  It does have light scent of tea trea.

Review: This cleanser feels smooth, silky during the duration on the skin.  It is easily remove with water and skin doesn't feel dry after that.  It has pH of 5.5 which is low pH and closest to healthy skin pH.  It can't remove waterproof makeup so use a makeup remover before that.  It cleanses my skin well and doesn't irritate my skin or cause redness.

The rest the ingredients are for hydration, emulsifier, texture, pH adjusting and preservatives. 

Texture: It is watery opaque white lotion with grains of cellulose in it.  It does have floral fragrance in it.

Review: I only use it on my nose since it can be grainy for my very sensitive face.  It does remind of peeling gel that already has grains in it.  It does clean the nose area very well with the willow bark water, BHA and salicylic acid. The nose area feels very clean and smooth.

Overall: An exfoliator that is strong for thicker strawberry nose or thicker male skin type.

Packaging: Purifine line has the green and white design on it.  The box has English and Hangul information on it.  Product comes in plastic jar with white cap.  It will be really nice to have it in tube.  It does have inner lid to protect the cream inside. The hold of the inner lid looks like leaf which is really cute.  No given spatula but you can use the one you already have.

Ingredients talk: 

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone-not free, fungal-acne safe (malassezia)-not . 

The not fungal-acne safe ingredients are Glyceryl Stearate, Ethylhexyl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Polysorbate 20 and Sorbitan Isostearate.

The main ingredient is 80% tea tree leaf extract with added tea tree oil of 0.01% .

There are silicone, fatty alcohol and fatty acid in it.

Seaberry, Thyme, summer lilac, Centella Asiatica for anti inflammatory and antioxidant.
Contains essential oil such as lavender and tea tree oil.

The rest the ingredients are for hydration, texture, and preservatives. 

From the ingredient list, it is made for people with combination and oily skin type and without sensitivity to essential oil since it contains tea tree oil and lavender.

Texture: It has slighty tea tree scent.  The soft opaque white cream goes on the skin without residue.  It is very light and gives a matte look.

Review: I don't have problem with tea tree so I find that it helps to prevent and reduce acne on my face.  It is a  nice light moisturiser that hydrate skin.    It doesn't cause clogged pores or irritate my skin.  As long there is no wound, it doesn't sting.

Overall: It is a nice moisturiser for combination skin that likes tea tree and is not sensitive to ingredients.
