Packaging: It comes without a box which is good.  Transparent plastic jar with screwed lid comes with a plastic tweezer for easy hygienic way of taking the cotton pads.

Ingredients&texture: The cotton pads are unbleached so that is the natural colour which is slightly brownish and not pure white.  Both side are the same which is smooth and soft.  For DIY mask, peel cotton pads into two. 

Review: It is a very thoughtful idea so that we can DIY our mask for face to focus on certain ingredients or use it with exfoliating toner to gentle.  It is also gentle, comfortable and provides light exfoliation on the skin.  Using this cotton pads to swipe the skin with a gentle toner is good for a lasting long makeup on the skin.

Overall: A nice unbleached cotton pads that is good for travelling, DIY or before makeup.

If you have oily skin, most of the time you are told to go oil free in your skincare products.  While keeping skin hydrated is true, drying out your skin with all the harsh products isn't going to do your skin any good.

I have combination acne prone skin and find that some types of oil helps in my skincare routine.

Just make sure to choose suitable one for your skin.

Ingredients: 

100% Cold Pressed Grape Seed Oil 

Grapeseed oil is suitable for oily acne prone skin because it contains linoleic acid which will not clog the pores.  Besides, it contains vitamin E, flavonoids and OPC Factor™.  

OPC works by combination of vitamins, minerals, and bioflavonoids called oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), which are powerful antioxidants.

Vitamin E&linoleic acid lightens skin discolorations such as acne scars and sunspots.  It also speed up healing process and reduce formation of keloid scars( raised enlarged scarring).

Texture:  Watery light texture oil that absorbs onto the skin without residue.  There isn't any strong scent to it.

Review: I use 2-3 drops of grape seed oil for my whole face at night.  I find that grape seed oil helps with hydration, reduce skin oiliness and speed up healing.  It does help to get rid of the pigmentation help by acne.  It doesn't clogged my skin but seems to help to reduce acne on my face after using it for 3 weeks.  I tried it on my skin is weak after exfoliation and it doesn't irritate my skin.

Overall: The Raw by Pastels Grape Seed Oil is an affordable oil suitable for acne prone oily skin.

Review: It is easy to mix the Omija liquid with other drinks.  Just ice and cold water will also make a  great drink.  I find that the taste and scent very unique.  It is unlike any fruits that I had before.  It is a traditional Korean drink that is tasty and also good for health. I do enjoy this health drink as it does help with digestion and skin looks better the next day. The SWEET flavour is sweeter but not those sugary  sweet than the other two version so it is my favourite.

Overall: Omija Korean drink is really unique in flavour and good for health.

It has ingredients to avoid drying the hair and many plant ingredients inside this dye to protect the hair.

Review: There are two packets inside which is enough for long hair and for short hair like mine it is enough for two usage.  It is easy to apply along hairline, the mixture does not drip easily and comes out with salon results.  Since I have Asian dark brown hair the results isn't going to look exactly like the one on the front face of the box.  The colour does look vivid of auburn and covers my gray hairs.  I do like natural results, easy to use and the affordable price.

Overall: A good easy DIY hair dye with natural soft salon results and economical.  To achieve brighter colour, pair it up with Mediheal Vijude Hair Bleach.

Suggestion of Usage:

Packaging: Nice elegant box with English and Hangul written in it.  The transparent plastic bottle with black cap contains the extract in it.

Ingredients:

Houttuynia Cordata Extract 92.5%, butylene glycol, 1 2-hexanediol.

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free  and fungal-acne safe (malassezia).

There are only three ingredients 

Houttuynia Cordata 92.5% from Mt. Jiri, South Korea that is extracted using low low temperature contains Quercitrin which has antibacterial&anti-inflammatory for acne prone skin.

Butylene glycol is a humectant for hydration and 1,2 hexanediol for texture and hydration properties.

 

Texture: Watery brown liquid that absorbs easily onto skin.  It has herbal scent of houttuynia cordarta also called heartleaf scent.

Review: My skin like this high heartleaf extract of 92.5% since it reduce redness, reduce inflammation, is antibacterial and reduce acne breakout on my skin.  I find that it also speed up healing of my acne red scars.   Besides, that it reduces oiliness and keep my skin hydrated with the 7skin application.  It doesn't cause breakout or cause any clogged pores.  I applied this extract when I picked on my skin and it soothes my face without any irritation.  Masking with it feels really nice too.  It doesn't cause piling when I use it under sunscreen and makeup which is nice.

Overall: A high heartleaf 92.5% extract that is gentle and soothes acne prone skin.

DIY MODERN RING CURTAINS FOR LIVING ROOM

Here is DIY ring curtains for living room.

Since 2020, home improvement has become all the rage.  Those working from home or just being inside their house 24/ 7 with their family members makes many try to make their home as comfortable as possible.

Besides, everyone wants their abode as beautiful and as luxurious as possible.  As much as it is beautiful, it does come with a price especially when one hires interior designer.  Since price of things increased by 100% , it is good to DIY some.

This curtain I am doing is the eyelet modern curtain. Some called the eyelet as grommet.

Before I got into the process of doing it, here are some details because your needs and measurement can be different from mine.

My measurement:

- I use 12 X2 eyelet rings (two pieces) for the sliding door.  It should be 32eyelet rings if you want it to be more luxurious.

- The width in between eyelet is about 19cm

- For some 1.5 X -2 X of the width of sliding door.  The more folds the prettier it is but just make sure not too many. 

- I choose curtain cloth that is not blackout for my living room as it will give some brightness to living room.

- depending on the height of your rod, it is better to make sure you have a lot more cloth to spare because too short is not going to be pretty.

Mat Satin bidang 60" Kain Langsir 11 gold 0.50meter X11

Measurement:
- sliding door is 9sf X 2.5sf (130cm joint X 130cm rod)

3 Feet / 91cm Single layer curtain rod/ 28mm/ aluminium with nano silencer
9 Feet /274cm Double Layer curtain rod (sliding door) /double bracket/ 28mm/aluminium with nano silencer

Process:

1.  Fix the rod.

2.  Measure your curtains cloth.

3.  Sew them.

4.  Draw the eyelet ring.

5.  Fix the eyelet ring.

6.  Place on the curtain rod.

Overall, be patient, slow and steady.  It more satisfying to do it yourself if your into home improvement and just make want reduce the stress of running into unscrupulous people.

HOW TO COOK CHICKEN SOUP

Here is an easy chicken soup to cook that is really delicious.  I use the Yew Chian Hwa Herba Soup Daging Kao Kao (Yew Chian Hwa Herbal Soup meat strong enough) for my chicken soup.

This packet of herbs are also suitable for vegetarians.

My mum was asking if I will get free packets of this Yew Chian Hwa which she only buys and being loyal. I told her buy with my own money 😂

You can also use other ready made high quality herbs for this soup actually.

Instructions: (By the company)
1kg chicken, 12 bowls of water (3Litre), 2 whole garlic with skin
1.  After boiling water, add in Yew Chian Hwa Herba Soup daging kao kao ingredients and bring it to         boil.

2.  Then add in garlic and chicken. Reduce the heat and simmer until the meat is tender. Lastly add in          the sauce.
3.  Add a little white wine to increase the deliciousness of the soup.

Instructions: (Mine)
1kg chicken, 12 bowls of water (3Litre)
1.  Boil the water.

2.  Add in Yew Chian Hwa Herba Soup daging kao kao ingredients. I only use the loose herbs.  I don't use the sauce (in transparent packet, brown sauce) and don't use the powder packet.

3.  Put in the chicken.

4.  Use low heat and simmer until the meat is soft. (about 1-2hours).
