Few months ago, I bought something interesting from Korea.  It is increase the lung capacity to enable you to sing.  I guess probably some Korean idols took this secretly 😁.  Anyway, I am down for safe stuff that will enable me to at least sing.   I got this because I can't sing and my voice just sound even worst than a frog.

So, I pretty much want to just if there is anything to save my horrible voice and see if I can without sounding like mouse and embarassing myself.

0SAENG-BOGAM Want Sound Powder soothe your throat!  Pocket-sized sticks can be consumed without water.  Formulated with Mint extract to give your throat and mouth a refreshing feeling.

It is to relax your vocal cord and able adjust the pitch more comfortably.  Magnesium and vitamin B6 to increase lung capacity.

HOW TO USE
Consume 1 stick without water when your throat feels sore.

Consumer 1 stick 15-20minutes earlier before singing.

Packaging: It comes in a nice blue box with 10 sticks inside the box.

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, no silicone and is fungal-acne safe (malassezia). 

The food grade ingredients look like it is best if you have eaten something before that.  It is not good to have it on an empty stomach.  Quince is actually a Korean fruit that looks like some pear but it is cooked to unlock its potential benefits.

Texture&Taste: It comes as in very fine opaque white powder.  I pour the powder into my mouth.  It takes about two times to swallow the whole packet.  It is sweet with minty feeling up to the end.  My mouth is full of this refreshing mint in my mouth.  The mint feeling continues down my throat too.  It does relief sore throat, sooth the throat and has minth feeling.  It similar to eating strong mint sweet.

Review: I do like this mint refreshing relief of the throat before singing or using voice for long time.  It keeps the throat sooth.  The effect last for about 3-4 hours.  It doesn't change your pitch to octave.  It does help to have more 'power' to sing songs.  Since I can't sing at all, this helps me to sing some classic but of course I still can't pull that "I will survive" song.

Overall: I think this is an interesting powder for helping those that need to use their voice for a long period of time.  At least I can eat this and sing some simple song.

The rest the ingredients are for hydration, emulsifier, texture, pH adjusting, fragrance and preservatives. 

The first few ingredients are for hydration.  The next ingredient is chlorella which has vitamins B, magnesium and zinc to calm skin inflammation. Citrus is for brightening.  I like the Neem extract and retinol which help with reducing acne.

Texture: It has the same delicious orange marmalade scent as the cleanser.  The transparent orangey jelly texture with bits inside just look so much like food(don't eat it though).  There is no added colouring in this product.

Review: It does brighten and make my skin softer.  After usage, it does feel like I had peel on my skin.  it is best to use it once a week and not everyday since it can cause over exfoliation.  I do like it since it helps with reducing blackheads on my skin.  I do feel warm for 1min the first time I use it because of my sensitive skin but subsequent usage my skin doesn't feel that anymore.

Overall: It is great for people looking for brightening, light peeling wash off mask for dull skin type.

WALLS ASIAN DELIGHT DURIAN ICE CREAM

You can guess how much I love the King of Fruit by now.  So when I saw this next to the Mochi Durian which I really like, I just had to get this Walls Asian Delight Durian ice cream too. After all, I love ice cream and durian.

Packaging: It comes in a plastic wrapping with ingredients listed in English and Bahasa.  It comes in stick kind of ice cream which makes it easy to hold.

Ingredients talk: It has coconut milk as the first ingredients.  This ice cream use Monthong – Golden Pillow which is from Thailand.  This type of durian is more least pungent in the aroma and also sweeter.

It has caramel colouring. The synthetic flavouring is coconut.

Texture: It does melt fast in our kind of 35Celcius room temperature.  It taste like coconut milk with durian ice cream.  Subtle durian scent with coconut milk fragrance.

Review: I guess this ice cream is for those that like coconut milk ice cream with slight durian flavour.  They do use real durian.  It taste pretty good actually.

Overall: Not sure if I will buy again since I don't really like coconut milk with durian ice cream.  The only time I have coconut milk is either in my cookies, curries or nasi lemak.

The main ingredient Sea Buckthorn Fruit Extract (86.14%) which is the star ingredient of vitamin C.

Niacinamide is know to brighten the skin and to reduce production of sebum on oily skin type.

Other plants ingredients such as Gotu Kola, Green Tea, Licorice are to aid with calming the skin and reduce inflammation.

Ascorbic Acid is placed in the middle of ingredients since it is made to not be too irritating on senstive skin type.

I do like panthenol and Scutellaria Baicalensis in this bottle of serum.

Still do check out the ingredient list since some people may have certain sensitivity to certain ingredients.

Texture: It is a light transparent serum that spread easily absorbs into the skin without any tacky residue.  It has the scent of rose.

Review: One can use this twice daily in the morning or night since it doesn't turn yellow .  Skin does turns healthier, brighter, even more tone and hydrated.  It does take some time to show results since it is  gentle serum meant for everyday usage.  The serum doesn't turn orange even when I didn't put it inside the fridge so this is a pretty good serum for travelling.

Overall: It is a nice gentle brightening serum and safe for those that fungal acne problem.

HOW TO MAKE HIBISCUS SABDARIFFA JAM AND JUICE

This is the new age where vampires no longer are into Elizabeth Bathrory unhygienic bloody extraction method.  The new Vampire vegan source is more sustainable and clean.☺ The Korean called it Hibiscus sabdariffa tea which is also known as roselle plant.  It is also known as many other names such as bissap (national drink of Senegal), Karkadé, agua de flor de Jamaica popular in Mexico, Cental America, Thailand and the Caribbean.

It is also has been used traditionally for its medicinal value that help with high blood pressure, wounds and ulcers and colds.

I do like it because 100g of hibiscus tea contains 47% iron and 30% vitamin C and taste just like cranberry.


So here is a recipe on how to make Hibiscus sabdariffa jam and juice for youthful skin.

Recipe for the juice (not sweet)

500g Hibiscus sabdariffa

100g sugar

1000ml amount of water

Recipe for jam:

500g Hibiscus sabdariffa

400g sugar

Steps (for the juice) :

1. Wash the Hibiscus sabdariffa thorougly.

2. Remove the seed inside the flower.

3. Put in Hibiscus sabdariffa, water and then sugar.

4. Boiled.

5. Pour the juice to another container.

Steps (for the jam) :

6.  Once there is only Hibiscus sabdariffa left, add in the sugar.

7.  Stir it until all melted.

8. Cool it down.

9. Store it inside the a container.

Taste&texture:  In drinks without sugar it is usually just sour.  My family will just boil it with sugar and then put inside the fridge so that it will taste so much better.  In hot tea, it is slightly sourish.  You can make it into jelly since it won't turn into jelly if you use the fresh hibiscus.

Tips: Try not to use too little sugar for the jam or the jam will mould very fast.

Packaging: A nice simple white packaging and the very cute Jumiso Icon.  It has ingredients written in English, French, Korean, Spanish and also Russian.  The opening is good to dispense product.

Ingredients talk: 

 Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free and fungal-acne safe (malassezia).  It also has pH of 5.5 .

Some skin type might not like Salicylic Acid, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil.

The rest the ingredients are for hydration, emulsifier, texture, pH adjusting and preservatives. 

This is a cleanser that is also made for acne prone skin and for fungal acne.  It has BHA and also Chlorhexidine gluconate, an ingredient in mouth wash to reduce bacteria in the mouth (swelling, redness, bleeding gums).  It is not that bleach 'L' brand mouthwash in case you are wondering.

Texture: It comes in a transparent gel cleanser and has the grapefruit scent.  I like the scent since it reduce severity of migraine.  It does foam up a bit which I don't mind.

Review:  It cleanses my skin well but doesn't removed those sweatproof stuff much.  It is very gentle and reduce redness on my skin.  I think it is gentle even for acne prone sensitive skin since it reduces amount of acne and keep my skin clear.  It works even better if you are using other acne treatment.   It doesn't make my skin feels tight. 

Overall: It is a great gentle second cleanser for acne prone skin type.  It is also low pH and fungal acne free.  I like it.

REVIEW ON NESTLE MUSANG KING ICE CREAM

This current new life is making me stress eating to keep myself sane.  When this Nestle Musang King Ice Cream came out, I just need to get this because I love durians.

Musang King is one of varieties of durian available.  It is considered one of the popular and pricey durian because of the very fragrant durian scent.  The flesh is not as much as some of the other durians that I know.  Translated directly to English it means Fox King.

Also, no we do not pluck durian from the trees because can you see that it is full of thorns? Unless you enjoy the thrill of raining thorny balls, one can't pluck Durian from the trees.

Packaging:  It comes in a nice pint 750ml and written made with REAL durian Musang King.  Ingredients and everything is written in English and Bahasa. 

Ingredients talk: I am actually disapointed by the words Real Durian Musang King when there is only like 5.6% inside😡.  I am livid when I see colouring and flavouring on the list😭.  The first ingredient is oil palm.

Texture: It is very smooth, nice and smells really good of Musang King Durian if you don't know what is actually inside.

Review: It is pretty smooth, taste like Durian ice cream and not the real Durian.  After 30minutes I still burp out durian scent.  I mean for a 750ml and RM25 of course it is justified.

Overall: This is probably going to be my first and the last I am buying this since I dislike added synthetic colouring and added synthetic flavouring in my ice cream.  If they get rid of that, I can probably consider to buy it again in the future.
