REVIEW ON LC DERMA UV CC CREAM SPF 30

Have you tried any CC cream before?  It is a new craze after the BB cream and CC cream is sure different from BB cream because of skincare benefits that CC cream provides.  Korean makeup uses BB cream, CC cream and also CC cushion for their 'Oh so natural' makeup.

I have my fair share of getting into the bandwagon of CC cream.  Some was a hit and some are just not as awesome as I thought that it would be.  Let just say that when I saw this LC Derma UV CC cream SPF 30, I was not thinking much of it until I tried it and YES I am impressed.  Well, more impressed than some high ended CC cream.  Continue reading or jump to the end of the post to see why I am so impressed with this CC cream.

First, there is no preservative in their products =) .  I find that almost every other CC cream contains preservative.  If you do not believe me, then check if there are paraben or other type of preservative.  This one doesn't have preservative that will hurt or cause allergic in the future!

simple plastic bottle that can be recycle later =)
I really like this concept as the bottle is easy and really light to be brought around.  I don't like to carry heavy bottle of makeup around.  I don't have to worry if I drop it to the floor too as I am quite clumsy.

LC DERMA UV CC CREAM SPF 30
can you see the word Mega+ ?

The expiry date is written on the bottom of the bottle.
You can take a look at the bottom of the bottle and noticed the word    'mega +' .  They are using Germany type of airtight bottle!  So, do not worry of the air going into the bottle and oxidized the CC cream.

simple and easy to use pump type of cap.

The pump is easy to use and one can control the amount of cc cream coming out from the pump.  I need one pump for a light coverage.  Two pump would be enough for a full coverage on the days my skin isn't behaving that nice.  Don't be too greedy and use too much because it will brighten the skin so much that you would look too white.  The CC cream is actually looks good on its own because it doesn't oxidized on me at all.  The particle is so fine it glide on my skin.

Test for CC cream
Testing on the CC cream
Try this test to know how smooth is the CC cream.
1. Take an ice cube
2.  Rub it on the cc cream.
3. Voile.  See, it doesn't stick onto the cc cream no matter how hard I rub!  That shows how fine the CC cream is!

the results on my hands
The cc cream take some time to adjust to my skin tone colour.  I was at first shocked at how white it was on my skin but it change to my skintone colour.  It sure make my skin brighter than before.  It look very natural too.  The cream is really hydrating and it is not oily at all.  It sure doesn't cake up or run into the crease of the nasalobial line at all!  It also doesn't make my skin patchy by the end of the day so I find this is really good as most BB cream can make my skin dry.

LC DERMA UV CC CREAM SPF 30
before and after
Can you see the immediate differences?
I think every skin types would like this very much as it make the skin moist and hydrated.  .  My face looks  a little oily on the T-zone after 4hours without primer but nothing serious that I can just bloat with a tissue.

One features that I love about this CC cream it that it is Waterproof and Sweat proof ! My skin virtually look like it is Photoshop in real life and no one knows about it.  Normally, CC cream will come off when I blot but this CC cream won't budge no matter how hard I rub it.  I love this waterproof feature very much.  Even when I blot it with tissue, the CC cream doesn't come out at all.  No one will know that you are wearing make up at all!

This CC cream works equally good and on par with all the counters brands =)  .Of course I would buy this again after I finish this bottle =) .

  7. Hi, I actually use the day and night time routine in a humid environment and I am have oily/acne-prone and it really works for me.

I just pick western/korean products that are work for acne-prone skin, also use more gel lotion and gel cream formulas, and in the morning I add a treatment step 2% Aha/Bha pads.

    This site really helps http://sunhyemi.com/the-best-korean-products-for-troubled-skin-part-1-oily-skin-pimples-blackheads/

    Love your post.

  9. Hi Yue Rain, any acne gel, lotion or pad with 2% Salicylic Acid as an active ingredient. I like Acne Stress lotion cos it is hydrating.

Your article on the difference between booster, serums etc, really helped me understand korean skincare better. Thanks so much!

  14. I have oily skin. I use toner, serum and cream. All Korean product. It is now summer and hot. Shall I use all three in the morning and night? I also apply sunblock in the morning.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hi Binar =) . Do check your products if these are hydrating products and their texture. If it fit perfectly during winter then you need to change your products in the summer.

You can just use toner and emulsion/lotion moisturiser (light moisturiser) for summer instead of cream. If your serum is water type-then you can still continue to use it in the morning. I prefer to use my serum at night.

    morning-cleanser>toner> light moisturiser>sunblock
    night- cleanser>toner> serum>cream> sleeping pack(this is optional)

for summer, go for light texture because heavy skincare products can cause block pores. Also use clay masks or those carbonated masks to help unclogged pores.

  16. Hi, I have an acne-prone skin and live in Malaysia. I recently just started using MISSHA for my skincare routine. Cleanser (Near Skin) > Essence (Time Revolution) > Toner (Super Aqua) > Ampoule (Time Revolution) > Emulsion (Super Aqua) > Tea Tree Blemish Gel (Thursday Plantation). I wonder if this is the right sequence for my acne-prone skin?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hi Syaza. Is that your day or night routine? I think it might be too much on your acne prone skin if you use all that during the day.

If it is Day routine, I will suggest you to follow this:

Cleanser (Near Skin) > Toner (Super Aqua) > Essence (Time Revolution)> Tea Tree Blemish Gel (Thursday Plantation)> Emulsion (Super Aqua) .

Night routine can be something like this

Cleanser (Near Skin) > Toner (Super Aqua) > Ampoule (Time Revolution) > > Essence (Time Revolution) > Tea Tree Blemish Gel (Thursday Plantation) >Emulsion (Super Aqua)

emulsion is actually moisturiser so it should be the last of your skincare routine. Hopefully that helps.

  18. Thank you for your suggestions. Hmm I was too eager to get rid of the acne and I'm pretty deadlocked right now :'( Thanks again.

  19. You are welcome Syaza. I haven't tried Missha products so I am not sure about the effect for acne prone skin. It is not easy to get rid of acne just by using the skincare products alone. I do understand you feeling as I used to have a face of acne in the past. You can also check this link on acne prone skin care

  20. hi i have normal to combination skin and live in Indonesia. Im thinking of buying all of this skincare, im currently using cleanser and hadalabo lotion + milk at morning and hadalabo lotion + cream at night. morning skincare wishlist/?😂 is cleanser - wonderpore freshner - collagen moistfull facial freshener - pearl aura brightening essence - pearl aura brightening essence lotion - collagen moistfull emulsion - done. and for night skin care is same but i will add etude super collagen ampoule essence after wonderpore freshner and hadalabo lotion at last after emulsion bcs i just bought it recently and my lotion is only left a little (maybe for 1/2 weeks). Is that sequence right or not? thanks💕💕💕

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hi Mhellyiiee =) . Glad to see your comment here. I have to say that you need to make changes to your skincare as I think you are using too much for your combination skin type.

Here is my suggestion on your Day skincare:
    1. cleanser
    2. wonderpore freshner
    3.pearl aura brightening essence
    4.pearl aura brightening essence lotion

    Night skincare

    1. Cleanser
    2.collagen moistfull facial freshener
3.etude house super collagen ampoule essence
    4. collagen moistfull emulsion or hadalabo cream)only use at dry area)

I generally do not recommend to use too many moisturiser at the same time. emulsion and cream are both moisturiser.
You can use emulsion on oiler area and cream for dry area.

    Hopefully that helps =)

  22. ah thanks for your advice. But Is it better to use same products on day and night? i heard that both of pearl aura and collagen moistfull is better to use on day and night (twice a day).
tbh i prefer pearl aura line, bcs i want to reduce my blackheads. say it i use pearl aura essence and lotion on night. So i need to use hadalabo cream and lotion together? My skin is more to normal skin than combination skin, but area on my nose is oily and the rest is normal.

    ReplyDelete
  23. well, if you want to finish your products. Some use the same day and night products to see faster effect and not to have too many products.

Having too many products means spending more money. I have different products for day and night because the skin needs during the day and night are different. It is actually up to your skin condition and needs.

You can use the hadalabo cream and pearl aura together. pear aura for oilier area and the cream for normal skin.

The aura line is to brighten the face but not won't do much for blackheads. The Wonderpore freshener is the one helping the blackheads. I

use Skinmiso for blackheads and pores.
