This is actually one of the famous stalls at the food court and I do happened to always go here when I am going back to the South. Paying could be a little troublesome as you will need to get the ‘reload card’ before swapping at the counter you want for food. I would advice you to check out the prices of what you want to eat and drink before buying the ‘reload’ to avoid wasting your money.

1 Pineapple Fried Rice RM5.90



Pineapple fried rice is just nice and not too spicy. There is some freshly cut pineapple inside and overall I think it does taste good. This is suitable for someone who doesn’t taste spicy food or any meat in their fried rice. Portion is medium and not too small. One thing I like it the food comes warm and not cold especially on such a cold night inside the bus station. Overall, I would recommend this.

Tom yam Beef Rice RM6.90

Beef fried rice is a little spicy and salty but it goes well with the rice. For sure, one has to eat it with the white rice. The rice is fluffy and am sure it is those fragrant rice which is not common for food court. I couldn’t be more than happy with the generous sauce and also beef. Beef is not hard but a little tender. It comes with petai which I say expensive petai because it is those small and less stinky petai. I love petai so I couldn’t care less how the toilet smell later. I think this plate of rice is not bad. Service is good and fast too.

Omelette Fried Vermicelli RM6.90

Overall, tasty rice and good service from this stall. We made changes after 10 minutes but the lady was not angry with us at all. Instead she allowed us to change it and waived the extra Rm0.30 off. She was so kind even if she is not the boss. Fried rice was not hard and it taste good as it is of good quality rice. I can’t believe that the cook is not even local. This place is a good choice for food as it really changes my opinion about eating at food court. I definitely do not regret eating at this food court every time I have to transit in TBS. Food is affordable too and portion off medium size.

REVIEW ON FREEMAN FACIAL CLAY MASK MINT LEMON

I do like to use clay mask to clean all the dead cells on my skin since I don't go for facial.  So, one have to take care of their own skin.  With the right products, one can actually have their own face spa at home.  i tried it and it is nice =0 .  Just that you will be the one doing it. =P

I like clay mask and so I decided to just get this since my friend use this before and well it is cheap.  Yeah, the cheapo in me wanted to try this since I tried other high end brand clay mask before and they were just okay.  The clay mask smell of mint and lemon.  There is a cooling sensation when I applied on my skin.  It does help to clean the skin and reduce the redness on my skin but doesn't remove blackheads as effective as the Zamian Cacao mask.

The clay mask is quite dry and it is hard to press it out of the tube but I know I shouldn’t ask for so much from a very affordable clay mask.  However, it is very easy to wash off and I did not cause my skin to react to it.

I used hot towel or warm water to clean my face first before I applied this clay mask.  It is more effective that way.  I also use warm water to clean off the clay mask, applied booster and sleeping mask afterwards.

Comparing Zamian, TheFaceshop Baby face clay mask, Himalaya neem mask, Zirch clay mask and Borghese.  This is really affordable and it works.   Of course don't expect it to give you the same results of going to the professionals(doctors and dermatologist).  I have trouble skin and also sensitivity so I usually alternate some of my skincare to make them work better.

FOOD REVIEW ON PORTUGUESE GRILL @ OASIS FOOD COURT

Portuguese Grill @ Oasis Food Court

Location: S-JA3(A), 2nd Floor, Mid Valley Megamall, Lingkaran Syed Putra, Kuala Lumpur.

This place is a cheaper option for those who are afraid of cutthroat price in shopping malls like midvalley. The grill is not bet and it is warm when it arrived. I have to wait about 15minutes for the food. I ordered stingray with lala. The sambal is fragrant, spicy and really goes well with the rice. No wonder many prefer this stalls over other stalls. I think the lala is overcooked and so it is was quite chewy and hard. However, the stingray is delicious and not chewy at all. The lady fingers was soft and nice.

REVIEW ON PLAY IT WITH BLOOP

 Last week, I received this Play it with bloop. If you notice it from the picture, it is for kids . XD How am I suppose to put this on MY HUGE Nails right?

Don’t worry, I have the same problem too but today I am going to use it for decorating my toes nails XP.

One just the following things.

1. Nail sticker

2. Nail polish

3. Scissors

4. Nail file

5. Pin or toothpick for adding a more decoration

1. Paint your nails with colour that you like.
2.  Then cut the nails sticker into the selected pattern that you like.
3.  Paste it and tadaaa...Beautiful Nails.

KOREAN SKINCARE TIPS

Koreans are known for their beautiful skin and flawless skin right?  Usually Koreans have dry skin due to their weather. In Malaysia, our weather is hot and humid. Most people would find that our makeup will melt after few hours unless one is using a very good primer. I find that Malaysian tend to have combination skin due to this kind of weather we have.


Recently in December, my skin was in a bad condition. I have combination skin but with peeling skin and also pimples popping out. Yes, even people with oily skin can have skin peeling from the mouth area. The whitish peeling skin is actually the dead cells caused by not having enough moisture and it does not mean that you do not have enough oil on your skin. Oil can provide temporary relief but the dead skin will return again and I found out the reason.


It was really troublesome having to ‘fix’ my skin troubles one by one again. I guess it is because my age is creeping on me that my skin has actually turned from oily to dry now. Still the acne problem would appear if I don’t take care of it. I can’t use too many skincare product even when my skin is dry as I would definitely breakout from it. Then, I saw this beauty method that I have being doing it wrongly and no wonder my skin is dry!


1. Do not apply the soap/ facial gel/ facial foam on the face directly. Always foam them up first even when there isn’t any foam before using applying them on the face.


2. Wash the face gently and then apply moisturizer directly on the skin after cleansing. Just pat the face with hands if you feel that is too wet. There is no need of using facial cloth to dry the skin.


3. Apply moisturizer within one minute or else your face would already have dead skin cells.


Even people with combination skin+ acne prone skin can develop dead skin cells. These dead skin cells cause the skin to be dull and rough. So, make sure to apply moisturizer when the skin is wet. There is no need for skin cloth. I find that this method really turn my peeling skin into normal! =) I can already feel the difference after three days but results is more visible after 2 weeks into the method. My skin has turn from dry into normal and it had save me from doing more laundry. Who wants to do more laundry right?


I guess it was also the combination of using Zamian mask and Dr.Jart booster that my skin is sure more hydrated now. I am also using mask on every alternate days. I heard Koreans use sheet masks every night. I will be so broke to use sheet masks every night since the cheapest is also RM3 and RM3x30 will cause RM90 per month just for mask alone????? Other than that, there isn’t any change to my diet.


Looking after the skin is sure not easy but everyone can do it.

Ps: Don't use this method if you are using acne/pimples cream since those need to be applied on dry face.  This method is more recommended for those with dry skin.

The Tako stall is actually full with people during weekends and so I usually avoided it when there are too many people. Well, I don’t like to queue and wait 1hour for my food even if it is just snack. It happens to be quite empty and so I decided to buy it. I bought Unagi tako which is more expensive than the octopus, prawn, chicken and cheese. It is not the best but I think it is affordable for the taste it offered. It is quite tasty and warm because mine was freshly made as it is not the usual takoyaki people will order.



Rm5.30 for 3 Takoyaki in a box. You need to make payment at one of the Jusco counter which is quite a distance walk.

REVIEW ON ST.IVES DAILY HYDRATING VITAMIN E

This body lotion is really moisturizing on my skin.  It absorb fast into the skin too.  I find that the smell is amazing too and it does help with the body hydration if I use for a long term.  I think other than that, my body skin is okay but I am getting lazier and so I did neglect my body skin so they are actually dry.

I found out that some apply it on the face as well but I do not dare to do that since my face is kind of sensitive and acne prone while hers is dry.  Overall, this is an affordable body lotion and it does help in hydration.

There are glycerin and glycerin does help to bring in moisturise into the skin.  I just do not dare to use on my face.  I read some use it on their face to moisturise their skin.

FOOD REVIEW KING'S CONFECTIONERY (TBS)

This is one of the two bakery in the TBS bus station and I notice many would buy from this shop as it is cheaper and because of the location. One would immediately notice this bakery as it is near the escalator.

The cake taste was not hard and the size is quite big for Rm2.70. I think it is worth the money. The chocolate cream is not too sweet and it is just nice. However, I would prefer if there are more chocolates syrup inside the cake but there is none. Overall, reasonable price for a cake. It also come in a nicely plastic box which I think make it looks more expensive than it really is.

With a weather like this. It is cold and dry, one need to take more water and drinking coconut water is really a good remedy for health. Coconut juice is also good for those who is having ‘demam denggi’. This place is open from the afternoon but people usually visit this place at night for their famous ikan bakar. This is the place that I usually go for my coconut juice and it is just besides the sea so one can enjoy the view of the sea while eating their food. The only thing was the wind might be too strong. Coconut juice is fresh and it is really the young coconut as I always feel really full with just one coconut.

FOOD REVIEW ON KOONG WOH TONG 恭和堂

I was actually surprised that they shops only sell three main things and it turns out that this is a family business own by few generation already. I notice many would choose to takeaway their tea in forms of plastic cups but I prefer to enjoy the environment while sipping the tea slowly. The shops is well organized with simple and traditional choice or furniture. The tea comes in traditional porcelain bowl and customer would just drink it from the bowl. No spoon provided. The service is good as you can just mentioned your condition and the lady will suggest which tea is better for you. I normally get the herbal black tea called wong lo kat which is bitter and helps with getting rid of toxic. The bitter taste doesn’t linger for long inside the mouth. I slept better that night since the tea really reduces the toxic in my body. Overall, this is the place to go for herbal tea if you are lazy to do it yourself.

The five flower tea is sweet but not those sugary type that will cause you nausea.  It really felt cooling and smell the great.  The taste and the pure freshness of newly brewed five flower linger inside the mouth even after finish sipping the tea.  The sweetness does go down the throat and i felt one is transport to an area with five flower tea.  Great choice for those who do not like bitter herbal tea.

 I love the softness of the herbal jelly and it is especially good for a hot day. I find the grass jelly a bit bitter but it is bearable because we are also given the sugar syrup to combat it. The grass jelly does help to relieve my sore throat and my family love it for the feeling of eating soft herbal jelly. Eating herbal jelly is good for complexion and it is one of the traditional Chinese way for clear, soft and young skin. I would definitely come again as this is good for busy and lazy people like me. Price is reasonable.

The range comes with fancy names that matches the colour.  I got this All Fired Up and it really matches the red colour inside the bottle.  It does look like having a bottle of fire or blood boiling inside the bottle.  I  imagine too much. XD

The bottle is heavy as it is made of sturdy glass.  The colour is visible from the bottle itself.  Application was super easy with the application wand and it felt just like applying gel nail polish.  The end result was so even and beautiful.  The colour was also opaque and shine just from using one coat.  It does last long on my fingers considering I do laundry and housework. I think this is really the nail polish to get considering that one do not need to apply base coat to get the ed beautiful results.

I did the flowers  by using pin as I do not have any brushes to paint the nail polish.  Forgive me if it is not very beautiful.

Since it is Chinese new year, I bought this bright red shoes too =)
