REVIEW ON DR.JART V7 TURNOVER BOOSTER

If you have heard about this famous beauty Korea show, I am sure that you would know about the Dr. Jart ceramidin cream that is a favourite even among the Korean celebrities for the light and moisturizing property and it can be mix with BB cream to create a base for a long lasting makeup.

Today, I am going to introduce another product from Dr. Jart which is the Dr.Jart V7 turnover booster. Do visit the link for more information on what is a booster. I wrote about them a while ago.

photos are from Dr.Jart official site

Key ingredients
Vita 3 Complex – Helps to reduce the appearance of pigmentation caused by acne, sun damage and delivers high levels of anti-oxidants
Vitamin B3 Niacinamide - Improves skins resilience, improves cell renewal
Vitamin B5 Panthenol - Aids wrinkle prevention
Vitamin C Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate – Helps to protects the skin from UV damage, helps maintain skin resilience with anti-oxidizing agents
Vitamin E Tocopheryl Acetate - Anti-oxidant agents help prevent skin ageing and improves elasticity of dry skin

Here is the box.  Make sure to keep the bottle inside this box.

The bottle is made of glass and it is quite heavy.  So make sure not to drop it.

Some of the wording are in Korean since this is a Korean products =) .

sorry for the ingredients that is not so clear

Water, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Betaine, Silica, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Squalane, Arginine, Niacinamide, Carbomer, Panthenol, Caffeine, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Ubiquinone, Disodium EDTA, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Euglena Gracilis Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glyceryl Arachidonate, Glycery

The booster is clear white with gold particles.

What is so special about this booster is that it contains 7types of vitamins to feed the skin according to the vitamin pyramid. The bottle is also in a dark colour and has a dropper to it. I find that I really like this kind of dropper as it is so easy to use and to avoid contamination to the product. I keep the bottle inside the box though in case the light will destroy the product.

I use the booster few drops in the morning and more at night. It absorbs into my skin very fast and hydrates my skin without any heavy feeling. My skin was peelings from the weeks of neglect, along with the breakouts and usage of acne prone products so this is really helpful with the hydration without being too heavy. I do not use any moisturizer during that time since my pores get clogged easily but surprisingly I do not get any skin peeling when I am using this.

This is really an amazing product for hydration although it is just a booster. I use serum, beauty oil or sleeping mask after the product at night. I find that all the skincare product works seems to work better and faster when I am using this booster.  Everything just get 'absorb' into my skin when normally all those product seems to just stay on top of my skin.  This is sure a keeper.

I will buy this again because it really helps my skin with hydration without clogging my pores.

Thanks Corinne for introducing this product to me. I love this very very much =)

P/S: If you are getting Dr.Jart V7 toner, you would have to use the toner after the Dr.Jart turnover booster.  I am not sure why but I think it is because the V7 toner is not a clarifying toner and it is a hydrating toner that contain active ingredients for the skin.  So, the sequence would be cleaner> booster > toner.

Products retails Rm145 for 50ml at Sasa. Made in Korea.

REVIEW ON ZAMIAN GOLD CACAO MASK & ZAMIAN SOAPS

Thanks to Hermo.com.my and The Butterfly Project collaboration for 'Make A Wish' Chapter to grant wishes of lucky butterflies and I am one of the lucky ones =)  .  Of course I was so shocked and happy when the post came and honked at my house.  This is an amazingX10 products that I have always wanted to try and  Hermo.com.my  just made my wish come true. They send me the soap too when I only ask for a tube of the mask =) .  I don't want to be greedy but I accept this nice gesture too=) .  So happy to get this package!  Seriously this came just when I seriously need this. I had been sleeping everyday at 2am for a month and also stayed alert all the time incase the flood hit the place I am staying again.  Due to this, my skin was so bad that I have to 'hide'.

sorry, no idea what is the meaning of the Korean behind the soap.
Cacao soap exfoliate my skin very well and get rid of all the excess oil.

Camelia soap is transparents and smell so good.I will just wet it and use it to wash off the cacao mask. It lathered up easily too.

see?lathered up easily.

this is packaging

Everything is in Korean except the name.

Zamian Gold Cacao Mask 150g, RM69.90. It is the Top Selling in Korea 2007-2008 Korea Award. Reduce Pimple, blackhead, whitening, oil control. The before and after result is so amazing that I 'WISH' to have this products.

Usage instruction:
1. If your skin is combination like mine then use the cacao mask to clean first before applying the cacao mask on dry cleaned skin.
2. Then, wait for the mask to dry up for about 15-20minutes.
3. The wash off with the camellia soap. I find it okay to use it every day since my skin was so bad during that time. It just made my skin looks better =) .

I am not sure if you can see  the tiny gold particles.  The twinkling tiny dots are the gold particles.

can you see the differences?  This is only after one application?  Amazing and worth to look silly for 15minutes.

Looked at how bad was my skin =(. Volcanoes of cystic acnes and pimples erupting again. My pores was so big and my face was so red! Some parts of skin was even peeling and that hurts. This mask seriously works to reduce the acne and get rid of the dry parts. Of course the acne doesn’t disappear in one day but they seriously got reduced and dried up the next day. =) My redness were also gone and I find it work to clean up all my clogged pores. The pores were much smaller and I love this so much now. My face also felt smoother on the first application. I know this mask came out somewhere in 2007/ 2008 but if it works why do we need to chase the trend right?

The mask smelled of cacao and it was of course delicious.  Application was so smooth and easy.  My face felt so smooth after using the mask.  The face area that was peeling stung a bit because my skin was so sensitive.  I can't even use any toner at all or it would feel as if thousands of needles are poking my face.  When my skin was back to normal, there is no stinging feeling at all.  Beware with a lot pirated good. Real Zamaian mask doesn't leave any colour stain on the skin at all.
I would definitely get this and recommend this for trouble skin/acne skin.

REVIEW ON EGYPTIAN MAGIC ALL PURPOSE SKIN CREAM

About Egyptian Magic
Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream "The People's Choice" is new to your market. It is a phenomenal healing balm with legendary powers due to its unique mixture of all natural ingredients derived only from living plants and organisms. Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream "The People's Choice" has been on the market since August 1991 with a solid track record, a loyal word of mouth following, and twice the healing power for half the price of conventional skin creams.

This is a products that everyone rave about and it is a favourite among so many celebrities.  I personally will approach it will a skeptical eyes as I don't really believe if there is something that works for everything.  Well, the word MAGIC does gets my attention.

The texture is just like balm and it will turn into oil if rub a few times.  It smell of olive oil and of petroleum jelly.  It is bearable but I don't think everyone will find the smell pleasing.  I find it really moisturising to my lips and it cure my chapped skin.  My lips always cracked as usual but applying this prevent it and my lips is really moisturise throughout the day.  Since it is only 3ml, I am not sure how it will fair for my acne prone skin.  I get about 2 application out of 3ml and I realise that it doesn't break me out but I think my pimples is still there.  I guess it is because I have really stubborn pimples and it only works with certain medication meant for cystic acne.

It works as a good makeup primer for dry skin. The skin would be really moisturise and not dry when applied makeup.  I heard that it works for rashes and also for sunburnt skin =).  I guess because there is high content of olive oil in it =).

Products retails RM5 at 3ml , RM75 at 59ml  and Rm125 at 128ml at Natta Cosme
Product are sponsored byNatta Cosme.  However, the opinions expressed here are my own and honest as always.

REVIEW ON MONTAGNE JEUNESSE FRUIT SMOOTHIE

It smell so much like fruits smoothie and smell so yummy but it is not for the consumption of the face. Sorry, I don't have the picture of it because I finish using it in one time and was too excited and relax that i totally forget to take a picture of it.  The texture is smooth and soft clay mask that does it job to clean the face and my face felt so smooth after using this mask.  It is also easy to apply on the face.  This is the mask to go if you love natural things.

The mask is gluten free with no added Parabens
-Made from Mango, Peach, Pomegranate, Raspberry and Vitamin E
-suitable for combination, dry, normal and sensitive skin

Curry Mee

Curry mee

The curry smell quite good with coconut milk and wasn't that spicy so I think it acceptable since I find that most Johorean do not eat spicy food.  The curry comes with tau fu pok, fish balls and fried wan tan.  The tau fu pok wasn't that tasty compare to the first time I tried it since I guess it is boiled together with the curry soup making the tau fu pok smelt of acid uric.  It would have comes better if the tau fu pok is only cooked together with the fish balls for a few minutes.  I do like the fried wan tan and the long beans as it is quite tasty and healthy.  The vermicelli and yellow noodles is just nice-not too soft or too hard.  Overall, it is not bad if one is looking for some curry mee for breakfast in the morning.

REVIEW ON FOOD IN MALACCA, JONKER STREET

I reached Malacca quite sometime in the afternoon and so I ate at the Melaka Sentral which inside the bus station.

06.12.2013

Thai Tomyam&Nasi Ayam (MW Ocean Sdn.Bhd) Terminal Melaka Sentral

The environment is okay inside. It looks clean but the arrangement is not really that comfortable since all the chairs are very near to each other. I can basically listen to what the others behind me are talking about. There isn’t many people there so I think service was okay. The waiter is quite slow in taking my orders and sending my orders. I have to go to the counters to pay later considering that the counters is just so near where I sit and there isn’t hardly anyone at all.

REVIEW ON TRAVELLING IN MALACCA

It is actually pretty easy to move around Malacca if it is the town.  Oh, I don’t mean Alor Gajah or Jasin.  I was actually pretty lost since I was backpacking and because I didn’t well do any virtual visits, I was clueless which bus to take.

One just needs to take bus number 17 to Jonker Street or Dataran Pahlawan.  RM1.50 per trip.  I do not dare to take taxi as it can be expensive.

Pretty much, there are many hotels in Dataran Pahlawan and Jonker Street.  You can book earlier but I am a terrible last minutes person so still I manage to get hotels and service was pretty good.  I stayed in Mawardah Inn.  There is no lift so if you are a lazy person, chance is you would be extremely tired in climbing the stairs.  I don’t mind anything as long as I can get a comfortable and cheap room.  The room was big, comfortable and cozy.  The toilet is the most comfortable one considering it is not even a 3stars hotel.

They are generous with the water as they do not control the amount of water coming out and I had a comfortable moment of having water massage in the room.  This is so much unlike all the common hotels that I stayed before.  Of course that one does not include a 5 stars hotel that I stayed before.
Jonker Street and Dataran Pahlawan was very near each other and it will only take 20minutes to walk from each other.  There is the Taming Sari in Dataran Pahlawan.  I used this is as my landmarks since I can get lost pretty easily.  If you are using the zebra crossing, make sure to be careful as I almost get knocked down by a irresponsible driver who keep driving even when the light turns red!  DO NOT TRUST ZEBRA CROSSING!

Besides, the famous Kota A Famosa is also nearby. There is also a ship where one can take picture of it.  I think you need to pay to get up on the ship.  It is actually on the same road to Jonker Street.   One can pay about RM20 for a round of river cruise on the Malacca River but I wasn’t interested in it. There are two huge malls(Mahkhota Parade&Melaka Megamall).

this is opposite Taming Sari.  Behind this building, there are many hotels or even backpacker's hotel.

Use the Taming Sari as a guide to walk.  I am a hopeless person when it comes to reading maps so I usually use landmark to guide me.  In Malacca(Melaka), it is the Taming Sari.
this is the end of Jonker street

I walked to Jonker Street for snacks at night.  You can check the other post on review forfood.  I only manage to try a few since it was only a  “two days and one night” trip.

On the day I wanted to go back, I took a bus from where I get down which is in front the Melaka Megamall (opposite the Mahkota Parade). It is Rm1.50 per trip.   Just ask the bus driver if they are going to Melaka Sentral.  Pretty much every bus that passed by will go back to Melaka Sentral (the bus station).
Then, from there you can take any bus to KL or to Penang.  There are many buses to KL in Melaka.  I took KKKL  bus since there is a bus for every hour.

Overall, I think it is pretty much easier to go around Melaka compare to coming to Tioman Island.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2013 IN MALAYSIA

This year theme for Christmas is Environmentally friendly or the 3R I think.  I was told that Midvalley in Kl has the most beautiful Christmas decorations.  So, here is all the photos taken for it =)  .  As usual many are taking photos but since I am alone, I am 'shy' to be taking my own photos aka selfie.

I personally don't really like to take photos of myself unless for reviews or something.  So, how is your Christmas?  Mine is just busy typing reviews  and editing my blog template.  It is so hard when i don't have the money to ask someone to do it.  Do you like the new template?

REVIEW ON BLOOP PARTY NAILS-EASY DIY

Christmas came early since this is the first time I receive a package from Bloop and HiShop .Thanks to HiShop for choosing me for this Bloop Buddyz. I received three things from the package-Bloop nail it strip for toes, Bloop nail it strip for fingers and a bottle of nail polish in H184. As usual, their package arrive in a beautiful pink package.

I understand that some company has strict dressing code and that include not nail polish on the fingers.  Still, I am sure women do love to adorn their fingernails with colourful cute prints especially with this coming Christmas season.  So, one option is to use nail strips.  One can remove it easily to avoid the boss frowning and nail strips also shorten the drying time.  There are so many beautiful nail strips offer by Bloop and well it is so much cheaper than going to the salon to do manicure.  The cheapest manicure already cost RM35 and well with nail strips, you can do it three times!  If you are a fan of nail strips, then this is for you =).
