The shop is at the corner end near huge Ledang pharmacy.

This is a place in Kluang town with affordable price, ambience, air conditioning with beautiful presentation food and taste pretty good actually.

The price of the food I wrote here may increased a little(+RM1-2) since I went in the middle of 2022.

Here is my simple drink recipe for summer. Refreshing&cooling for summer.
1. Pour slushies into cold glass.
2. Pour half packet of Sweet Dream Omija Yellow package (SWEET).

3. Enjoy it with adding more ice.

Packaging: There are 6 liquid packets inside.  I do like the holographic box.  The details are in Hangul(Korean language).

Review: It is easy to mix the Omija liquid with other drinks.  Just ice and cold water will also make a  great drink.  I find that the taste and scent very unique.  It is unlike any fruits that I had before.  It is a traditional Korean drink that is tasty and also good for health. I do enjoy this health drink as it does help with digestion and skin looks better the next day. The SWEET flavour is sweeter but not those sugary  sweet than the other two version so it is my favourite.

Overall: Omija Korean drink is really unique in flavour and good for health.

SOUVENIR FROM MOIJA K-FRIENDS KOREA 2022

If you like Korean culture such as Kpop, K drama, Korean food do join the community at Moija K friends where you can get involved with many activities there.

It is called MOIJA K-friends which means "let's all get together" in Korean language.

There are various activities posted to earn "Chingu"every month. Chingu are points that you can use to exchange into many Korean goods later in the Moija Market.

Moija market which will open twice a year.  In 2022 it was in August and in November.

As for the items and the amount of points needed to redeem the products depends on  K-friends team.  Each Moija market is different.  

In Season 1, there were random box, Kpop albums, Korean food, Korean chopsticks, K beauty (Korean skincare, moisturiser& handcream ), Blackpink phone case, kingdom friends random box, Staying in Hanok experience etc

In Season 2, there were Korean food (Paldo ramyeon, health, ginseng, rice punch ), Hanbok ( traditional bag, clothes, Muffler, accessories ), pasport with norigae, K beauty (handcreams, facemask, essence, moisturiser, toner ), BTS mouthwash .

Both season has minimum points items such as K random box&handcream in Season 1 and Norigae (traditional Korean accessories)  but they get sold out fast. Items for Season 2 need more points than in Season 1 because many of the items are actually expensive especially the Hanbok and ginseng so thus it requires more points to redeem.

Overall, I was happy that I was able to get enough Chingu points to redeem items from the Moija market Season 2.  My family loves the Paldo ramyeon kimchi noodles which they ate it all up because it wasn't spicy.

REVIEW ON POH LOONG RESTAURANT TELUK INTAN, PERAK

Here is one of the popular Chinese restaurants in Teluk Intan.   Poh Loong Restaurant Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia.

It is not Halal.

Many people will bring friends for dinner at this restaurant or have Wedding reception dinner here.

I actually went to this restaurant at the end of 2021 so I am sure the price of the food I wrote here has increased by now.  I ordered everything small.

Review:   

As this is Teluk Intan, it is best to drive around as nothing is reachable by public transport.  It is very hard to even get Grab in Teluk Intan.

There are places for parking but try to arrive around 8 to 7pm as it can be hard to get parking after 7.30pm.  

There are air conditioning areas and non air conditioner which are under fans.  Tables are mostly round since most people bring their families or come in big crowd.  Service is fast but if there are many people one probably have to wait longer for their food (about 20min).

Food is alright for picky eaters like my families.  If you are not that picky then this is going to pretty good.  Food presentation is really good though.  Price are also pretty affordable considering most of what is on the menu are for wedding or for special occassion.

Buttered Pork Ribs- It is cooked well, tender meat and comes with some lettuce.

Beancurd with Pumpkin Sauce-  beancurd is soft and comes with buttery pumpkin sauce.

Signature Braised pork- It is soft, tender and comes with some sauce.  However, it is not the traditional braised pork that I had eaten in some fancy restaurant.

Review: Located in front of Chong Hwa school, it is hard to find parking.  I found this shop by looking at some luxury cars stopping to buy noodles.  It has simple comfortable interior shop.  The shop is small but enough for a few tables to sit and have meals over there.  Service is top notch fast and friendly.  I didn't know that utensil is at the counter but they guide me to it.  Novice of self service utensils 😂

The speciality about this Ming Hiong shop is their kolo noodles.  It comes with fried wonton and delicious handmade pork ball.  Their coffee is pretty good too.  The noodles is RM6 and coffee is RM1.50-RM2 (sorry can't remember the exact price).  I also like that it comes in ceramic bowls.

I went back a few times on different time and their quality control is good since it tastes equally good each time.

I am unable to figure just how many times I had succumbed to temptation just because of 'viral'.

If you are fans of Ramli's burgers, this is a good place to go.

It is located right in front of the lake and on the same row as the famous Kluang railway coffee.

It comes in a set even if it is only written the name of burger.  The fries and ice lemon tea comes together in a set.

The packaging of the box is clean and interesting.  The burger is wrapped with foil and fries at the side.  The sauce comes in another packaging.

Burger taste is pretty good if you are into Ramli burger.  The patties are Ramli.  There is mayo, vegetables and sauce inside.  Price is affordable.  

As I did takeaway, it is kind of slow since I need to wait 20minutes and the waiting area is those plastic chair at the side with people walking right infront of my face.  I guess that is the reason most people will choose to dine in instead of takeaway.  There is indoor with air conditioning or outside.

LOOK FOR KOREA IN MALAYSIA

Hi, 

I am taking you around the city to look for Korea in Malaysia. I live in rural area so can't really find much Korean food except for instant noodles.

So here is the Korean restaurant which has Halal food, Dookki. They have many Korean food. 

Also the Dong Seoul that has Korean buffet. It is has BBQ Pork Belly, and Pork Meat

However, I am a broke working poor so much we are going to the supermarket Aeon for cheaper Korean import.  Here I can get some Korean food and ingredients such as Kimchi.

I am sorry.  I can't help but got into the temptation and just had to buy this Lay's truffle flavored potato chips because I am just curious when I saw it inside MyNews store.

Packaging: It has very beautiful purple packaging with that truffle picture which just made me curious that I have to buy it to try.

Ingredients talk:

From googleing, disodium inosinate (E631) and disodium guanylate (E627) are produced from meat and fish, tapioca starch, seaweed and yeast.

Review: When I opened the bag, the scent immediately hit me and also dispersed after a few seconds.  I am not sure how real truffles tasted so I can only described my inexperienced taste of it.  The chips has earthy scent with a hint of synthetic smell.  It is crunchy, thin and taste just like how Lay's potato chips are.

Overall: It is pretty good new flavour potato chip.

HOW TO COOK CHICKEN SOUP

Here is an easy chicken soup to cook that is really delicious.  I use the Yew Chian Hwa Herba Soup Daging Kao Kao (Yew Chian Hwa Herbal Soup meat strong enough) for my chicken soup.

This packet of herbs are also suitable for vegetarians.

My mum was asking if I will get free packets of this Yew Chian Hwa which she only buys and being loyal. I told her buy with my own money 😂

You can also use other ready made high quality herbs for this soup actually.

Instructions: (By the company)
1kg chicken, 12 bowls of water (3Litre), 2 whole garlic with skin
1.  After boiling water, add in Yew Chian Hwa Herba Soup daging kao kao ingredients and bring it to         boil.

2.  Then add in garlic and chicken. Reduce the heat and simmer until the meat is tender. Lastly add in          the sauce.
3.  Add a little white wine to increase the deliciousness of the soup.

Instructions: (Mine)
1kg chicken, 12 bowls of water (3Litre)
1.  Boil the water.

2.  Add in Yew Chian Hwa Herba Soup daging kao kao ingredients. I only use the loose herbs.  I don't use the sauce (in transparent packet, brown sauce) and don't use the powder packet.

3.  Put in the chicken.

4.  Use low heat and simmer until the meat is soft. (about 1-2hours).
