There is so much type of beauty oil out there that we sometimes have no idea which to choose.
Today I am reviewing another beauty oil known as Jojoba oil.
Jojoba oil is from the seeds of the desert shrub Simmondesia Chinensis which grows wild in the south west U.S. and areas throughout the world. Actually, it is more of wax than oil. There are many uses of jojoba oil besides for cosmetics purposes such as additive and it more shelf stable than other type of oil but less stable than coconut oil and castor oil.
The oil comes in a dark glass bottle to avoid the UV light destroying the minerals and vitamin E inside the bottle.
SUGGESTED USE:
Pure Jojoba Oil is gentle enough for the most sensitive skin types because its molecular content is similar to our hair and skin sebum. Use it to nourish your complexion, cleanse clogged pores, remove make-up, soften skin, and massage your scalp. It quickly penetrates and moisturizes without leaving an oily residue.
The one I have here is the unrefined jojoba oil which appears as clear golden liquid with a slight nutty odour. The unrefined one is colorless and odorless. As for which one is better, it really depends on your type of skin and purposes.
The unrefined version is more suitable for dry and normal skin type as it absorb slower compare to the unrefined version. You can also use it as massage oil. cuticles , hair and also as your body oil =) .

Heritage Store 100% pure jojoba oil is really nice as it absorb into my skin very fast leaving no residue. I use about two drop for my face. If you want a glowy sheen, then use about 4-5 drops of jojoba oil. It sure helps the penetration of other products into my skin and balanced the amount of oil production on my skin after using it for about 2 weeks. I do love the slight nutty smell.
You can mix the oil with moisturiser and apply it on the hands to soften the hands. Some use jojoba oil mix with other oil for aromatherapy purposes. For those with sensitive oil, one can use jojoba oil as has the most similarity with our sebum compare to other type of oil. It can help to trick our skin into thinking it has produce enough oil and thus a less oily face. This is good especially for those who are looking for a way to reduce oil on their face. I don't have any breakout from using jojoba oil on my face =).

Hi again, sorry to wait so long to comment on this post/product. I saw your first review for this and was intrigued. The second post reminded me I wanted to try this product, and I'm glad I did. I used your link & code for WishTrend (older one, as I got the products a several weeks ago from them). Anyway, this has been the ONLY product I have used that WORKS and actually pulls all the gunk out of your pores! Your pics are worth a 1,000 words. I'm trying to only use this kit 1x a week to make it last longer (I do use step 3 every day though as you only need a miniscule amount and the tube will last forever even with daily use) and I have no regrets on my purchase. Pores are clearing up nicely and the skin is much more smoother :-) WishTrend also got to the East coast US pretty fast (about 2 weeks, things I get from w2beauty take 4 T-T)

ReplyDeleteI am really glad that you love this Skinmiso pore beauty pack as much as I love it too. I haven't find anything better than this at the moment. Just that it is not so cheap but still beat all the other high end products that I have tried for blackheads. I think using one pack per week is good enough depending on your skin type.
Also glad that Wishtrend shipping is fast to your country. The wait for products is really killing, what more to wait for 4 weeks! I would keep wondering what happened to the products and their condition when they arrived.
Everything arrived well packaged and no damage to the box. I actually just placed another order through WishTrend and made sure to re-order another set of the Skinmiso pore packs as it is still on special, so I def will not run out anytime soon :-) Less and less gunk comes out of my pores, so I might be able to cut down to twice a month (if I can controll myself, they just work so good I can't wait to use them again lol). They also have new colours of the Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack that I tried in my last order and really liked. I just realized this week I never deposited last week's paycheck and was like "woo-hoo! I'm rich! Two paychecks in one day!" and went on a bit of a shopping spree this week-end LOL! Your posts are very helpful because you actually SHOW how the products work on your FACE. A lot of other blogs just talk about them or show it on the back of their hand, skin on the hand is a lot different than what's on your face. Any plans on posting about skin finishers?

@Isabel I am sorry. I tried taking over 20 photos for it but the camera just couldn't focus. I don't know how to edit photos to make it more clear too =( . It has been more than 5 years since this brand came out with this pore pack and it is still the best. Good for people like me who can't afford facial or aesthetic procedures but still need to get rid of those pesky blackheads and whiteheads XP . You might have different opinions and ways to combat them.

Will get it someday. =P Yes, I do agree that showing the products just on the back of the hands are not reliable. Our face has different 'build' and is more sensitive. Trying on the face does take more time and effort so I can't try too many skincare products in a month. I think some bloggers will probably blog about le lani skin finishers soon as there were some sampling but I am not chosen. XP Besides, I am still waiting for more skin finishers to be out in the market as the one in the market has not interested me much. I am a person that like to use few products because of my laziness. High five! I also just made an order from WIshtrend. At first, I thought of getting the skin finisher but then I made a 180 degree turn and choose the Pergillus foam cleanser which look so weird but interesting. Also got a cleansing tool which I am taking a risk. Heard many mix review about it. Now dying to wait for the parcel to arrive.Too many products that I want to buy too. hahahaha
