REVIEW ON MAC MINERALIZE RICH LIPSTICK IN PINK VIBRATIONS

MAC is a well known cosmetics brand for their wide range of cosmetics.  It is a brand that appeals to many makeup artists as well as other walks of life.  There is even 'fake' MAC in the internet and that means the brand must be good enough for someone to copy it.  As people say, "imitation is a form of flattery".

So, MAC came out with mineralize range of cosmetics and one of it is their mineralize rich lipstick which has beautiful range of colours.  Here is my view on their mineralize rich lipstick in pink vibrations.

The bullet comes in such beautiful elegant bullet which really make it worth while to get. It has magnetic closure which is really something unique.

The part that house the lipstick is true glossy black and the other one is matte black. No pearl shimmer on the lipstick's case.

Beautiful colour right?  I think this "Pink Vibrations" colour is either sold out since I don't see it in the online shop anymore.

Mineralize lipsticks are bigger but are a bit shorter compared to their usual bullet so you will for sure finish this faster than the other type of lipsticks.

Original MAC lipstick is actually heavy and has good quality casing.  The colour of the casing doesn't fade. The lipstick also has a nice faint vanilla smell.  Besides, the colours are really pigmented and beautiful with just one swatch.  Fake ones doesn't have some of those features and normally smell bad.

The colour is really beautiful, lightweight, non sticky and it is more moisturising on my lips than any other MAC lipstick.  The vibrant colour doesn't fade and it feels like a moisturising tint than a lipstick.  I don't even need to use lipbalm when I am using this lipstick.  Don't worry about the vibrant shocking pink colour as it actually looks natural when you apply it on the lips!  I am in love with the colour!

There is a little subtle shimmer but you can't see it on the photo.  If you are new to MAC lipstick and want to find something hydrating on the lips, MAC mineralize rich lipstick is highly recommended!

It comes inside a box and it vegetarian approved. Keep the bottle inside the box to avoid the UVB and UVA light from the sunlight. Recommended to keep below 25 Celsius as to preserve the efficiency inside the bottle. After all, antioxidant from fruits can be easily destroyed by sunlight and heat.


The ingredients in this bottle of serum are mostly berries which is just like applying a bottle of vitamin goodies on your skin.

Please ignore the glow on my forehead.  It is not oil.  The serum is a bit brownish and it is water based.

Worship serum get absorbed into the skin very fast leaving no trace of residue on the skin.  It also smell heavenly of natural berries on the skin.

I think it is really a treat for the skin as the skin does feel very much hydrated and soft while I am using this.  My breakouts from having too much of New Year goodies also slowly disappearing as the antioxidant in this serum helps to heal the skin really fast. The redness disappeared very fast too.


To avoid influencing the results of the serum, I didn't use other kind of serum nor make changes into my usually skincare routine except for adding this. =)  See the results for yourself.  Would sure recommend this for anyone who love organic water based serum.  It has all the good thing in one bottle.

The process of the blackheads removing is really painless.  Step 1 has a peppermint smell and 'heating' feeling when applied on the skin.  As for Step 2, the minty nose mask cool down the skin and I can see the pores' constriction. The solution is a little thicker for the step1

Step 3 which is the pore beauty silky essence really helps to control the oil on the skin.  A little will do for the nose area.  The nose produce lesser oil after using it for two weeks which is good to avoid the pore get congested.

Overall, it is a good painless product that cleanses the pores at the nose really well.  The effect is more obvious and last longer than other nose pack.  I think it is even cheaper than going for facial extraction that might damage your skin and cause sensitivity.  It is really recommended for your own self care at home.

Heat on the face can break down collagen on the face and cause more dryness.  So, I would reach for the mist or DIY mist to cool down my face.  It is common for Korean girls to carry around mist to spray on the face.

Recently, I was given Bio Essence spring water by a friend of mine.  The moment I saw the word "Miracle", I was really??????

The bottle is made from aluminium and is sturdy.

There is only two ingredients in this Bio essence spring water which are aqua (bio spring water) and nitrogen.

It claims to do lots of things which I think was quite impossible considering that the ingredients are just aqua and nitrogen.  Why do we need to use serums and other skincare products to help our skin with all the problems if this bottle can do it all?

It does help to cool down my skin especially on a hot day.  For a better effect, use it with a compressed sheet mask. It is also quite easy to bring it around during travel since it is easier to use "spray" rather than applying it with our fingers that might harbour lots of dirts on our face.  You could also use to set the makeup.

Just don't expect this bottle of spring water to do so much as to make you look ten years younger or a miracle in a bottle.

POPULAR SNACKS IN KOREA- HAVE YOU TRIED IT?

Hi beauties,

Do you love Korean snacks?

A few months ago, I was involved in a Christmas gift exchange. It was really exciting as buying and choosing things for people is really not an easy task.  I was wondering if I should send Durian flavour things but then ... I am sure you will faint because .....well Durian is the "stinkiest fruits on Earth" so well I better not.  I send mostly snacks that is only available in Malaysia.  I don't think you can find it anywhere else than Malaysia.  Alright, save that for another day unless you are curious enough to find out what snacks are good to eat in Malaysia.

So, here are snacks that I got from the exchange.  It is already in my stomach the day I opened the box so hahahahaha.  I was told that these are some of the popular snacks in Korea.

Here is the cheese crackers.  There is a light hint of ginseng.
Seriously, I couldn't get enough of these cheese crackers because the taste is so good! So thin and crispy just like potato chips but in a healthier version.

biscuits or crackers 

The biscuit is written in Hangul and also Chinese.  I don't know what it means in Hangul but the Chinese words means "tall little girl".  Probably referring to the illustrated girl.  It is a crackers with taste of coconut and lots of sesame.  Really tasty and fragrant.

This is jellies which the smell immediately float the whole room the moment I opened the packet. The jellies are shaped like grapes so it is really cute.  The taste is okay. Not too sweet.

REVIEW ON STARBUCKS COFFEE HOUSE CAKES S BANANA CC MUFFIN AND ABSOLUTE VIA

When life is just sometimes busy and depressing, we usually crave for something sweet. I can’t help but have some sweet craving. It happens that we passed by Starbucks and there are some cakes *my eyes light up at cakes"! I know Starbucks is famous for their coffee but since am rushing, cakes over coffee for me!

So, I chose S Banana Chocolate Muffin and Absolute Via for mum. She loves Swiss Roll and couldn't get enough of it.

I had a take away since I am rushing for time and mum doesn’t like to be in a place where youngsters like to hang out. So, I bought it home and prepared tea to go along with the cakes. Wow, sounds like I am having a great time. Well, one should try to enjoy the little things in life =) .

A beautiful paper bag. Inside the bag, there even tissues and fork prepared.

The muffin is put inside a brown bag while the Absolute Via is inside a paper box. Really pretty and mum keep asking me why it is unlike the one she brought from usual cake shop.

The banana muffin is very soft and the sweetness is just right. Love the amount of chocolate chips in it as well the taste. It is just a little more expensive considering the size. I shared it with my family members and my family members do like it as much as I do.

Absolute Via is actually coffee flavor Swiss roll which my mum though was chocolate, her favourite cakes of all time. The Swiss roll is soft with good amount of cream and the right sweetness. Unlike the typical type of Swiss Roll which my mum used to love, this is has very fine ‘holes’ means little baking powder in it. Starbuck also uses good quality of flour and it is worth the price since the size is also quite big. Sorry Mum, I spoil her image of her “favourited” cake shop (meaning she no longer like that shop now). Now, she finally understands why I don’t like the swiss roll from the shop she usually buys. Mum might be blaming me for pampering her with cakes now XP .


Next time, I think ordering the cakes are more worth than pies in Starbuck which can be quite dry.

The healing balm smells wonderful and not the typical bitter herbal. This smells soothing and reminds me of vegetables soup.  Even my family who hates anything with fragrance finds this smells good and do not need to pinch their nose while applying it.  The balm has a natural greenish look but turn transparent when applied on the skin.  There is no greasy feeling or discomfort when this *thumbs up*  .

This a healing balm that really works to heal the scratches, dry patches on my legs.  I also use it to ease those bites from those mosquitoes.  The mosquitoes would leave an ugly marks on my legs and hands.  It took few months for those marks to disappear.  Surprisingly, the healing balm get rid of those ugly marks fast and it is just perfect for New Year.  It works slower than those 'steroid' cream but it is natural so there won't be side effect of the dry patches coming back. It is sure a essential items for me now with so many uses and again it smell fabulous!
