MERRY CHRISTMAS 2013 IN MALAYSIA

This year theme for Christmas is Environmentally friendly or the 3R I think.  I was told that Midvalley in Kl has the most beautiful Christmas decorations.  So, here is all the photos taken for it =)  .  As usual many are taking photos but since I am alone, I am 'shy' to be taking my own photos aka selfie.

I personally don't really like to take photos of myself unless for reviews or something.  So, how is your Christmas?  Mine is just busy typing reviews  and editing my blog template.  It is so hard when i don't have the money to ask someone to do it.  Do you like the new template?

REVIEW ON BLOOP PARTY TOE STRIPS

REVIEW ON BLOOP NAIL POLISH H184

Thanks again to Bloop and HiShop for sending me this package.  In this post, I am going to review the nail polish in H184.  It is in pinkish metallic purple colour.  The colour is really beautiful and for those that love sophistication and charm.  Well, people will say that purple gives off a hint of mystery =) .  Personally, I love the colour that HiShop that had sent to me =).

REVIEW ON BLOOP PARTY NAILS-EASY DIY

Christmas came early since this is the first time I receive a package from Bloop and HiShop .Thanks to HiShop for choosing me for this Bloop Buddyz. I received three things from the package-Bloop nail it strip for toes, Bloop nail it strip for fingers and a bottle of nail polish in H184. As usual, their package arrive in a beautiful pink package.



I understand that some company has strict dressing code and that include not nail polish on the fingers.  Still, I am sure women do love to adorn their fingernails with colourful cute prints especially with this coming Christmas season.  So, one option is to use nail strips.  One can remove it easily to avoid the boss frowning and nail strips also shorten the drying time.  There are so many beautiful nail strips offer by Bloop and well it is so much cheaper than going to the salon to do manicure.  The cheapest manicure already cost RM35 and well with nail strips, you can do it three times!  If you are a fan of nail strips, then this is for you =).

HOW TO NAIL IT WITH BLOOP?
1. Make sure the nails are clean before using nail it! Use bloop nail polish remover for effective cleaning.
2. Choose the best strip size for each nail.  Cut it to fit your nails.
3. Remove the transparent protective layer.
4. Align & place the nail strip onto the nail. (Note: the rounded end should be facing the cuticle)
5. Rub strip over nail starting from the center working out to the sides.
6. Press the excess nail strip over the edges of the nail.
7. Using a nail file, file off the excess nail strip in a downward motion
8. Smooth nails to remove any excess air bubbles
9. For longer wear, seal with a layer of bloop top coat nail polish.




GET IT OFF (NAIL STRIP REMOVAL)
1. Remove the top coat with a nail polish remover
2. Dip nails into warm water for 5-10 minutes. Then, gently peel off nail strips
3. Remove any excess glue with bloop nail polish remover

Here is the results of me using the nail strips.  Isn't it beautiful?  I love the colourful and love shape of the nail strips pattern.   It is also easily to remove =) .

2.  You can browse through all the lenses base on daily lense, toric lenses, monthly lenses or colored lenses.  You can also just look through the features products.  Then choose one.  For example, I click on monthly wear.

3.  Then, it will show the list of all the contact lens under monthly wear.  Continue scrolling down until you find something that you like.

4.  Click on the product that you like to view.

5.  Here is the full details of the products including the discount or promotion.

6. Choose your power, diameter and base curve.  Choose the quantity that you want too from the cart.

7.  If there is a promotion, there would be notification when you click at the cart.

8.  Then, click on the "currently in your shopping cart' to check your list.

9.  Here, you can delete, continue shopping or proceed to checkout.  Check your list and once you feel satisfied, proceed to click on the 'checkout' button.  There will be the list of money plus the shipping price listed.

Since the sample I got is just 1ml, I am not sure about the long effect but I can tell you how it fair with my first application and if i like it.  The serum is really watery,transparent and absorb fast into my skin.  It doesn't leave a greasy feeling.  However there is a smell but I can't detect what it is.  It smell a little like vitamin E.  I think this is a good serum for people who doesn't like the greasy feeling.  It is just that the price may jolt some.

I went to collect the sampling of the double firming cream but was told that cream is only suitable for woman over 30 and she asked me if I want something else for my skin. The beautician was very nice and she gave me this instead. She told me to apply this after cleaning and toning. Then follow by Shaping Facial Lift lipo drain serum for a V shape face. Since it is about 3ml samples, I don’t think I can see very obvious results from three days of application.  However, I can tell you that it smells nice and it absorb fast into the skin even though it is cream.



Not sure about the price since it is a sample.

REVIEW ON SYED ALI RESTAURANT

Actually this is not the first time I come to this restaurant.  The restaurant is always full with tourist or with families that comes for vacations considering that there are hotels at the same row.  It is not air conditioned but is clean and well maintained.  One won't see flies flying around their restaurant even if it is not equipped with air-conditioner.  There is one toilet but it is clean too =).  They have a open kitchen where you can see them actually cooking your food.  Lunch is buffet style where one choose the food and wait for the owner to come to you and write down the price in a piece of paper.  It is definitely a place for families to have a simple dinner or tea.  It also one out of two restaurants that open 24 hours 7days in a row.

 There is a TV with Astro for the customer to watch.  However, there will charges of RM0.50 per hour for usage of the electricity plug considering some people comes and just charge their phone for free without ordering anything.  There is Wi Fi but it is with password.

As for dinner, you can opt for the same food serve during lunch or order ala carte but it depends if the cook can make it.  Normally, customers would order mee goreng, nasi goreng, roti canai or tosai.  They used to have chappati and naan but it is no longer available now.

Service is quite fast but if there are many peoples around, it will be slow since they only have one cook.

The food is cheap and reasonable.  I like their roti canai because the bread is cook perfectly and I couldn't find any sign of blackish dots on my roti canai.  The portion is reasonable and quite filling with the tasty dahl added with a little sambal.  The roti canai is tasty and soft with few layers inside the roti canai.  I do like their dahl but since it always comes in small portion, I would always have to ask for extras.  No extra charges for extra dahl and I find that they would give more dalh if I order a takeaway.

The roti telur or the direct English translation is called 'egg bread' is equally delicious and well made.  The egg is cooked properly and soft.  I like it very much as I don't like burnt roti canai.  It goes well with the dalh.  However, the size is of course not that big and so one will always need two pieces to be satisfied.

The tosai comes in a big portion and wrap so it is really filling and ordering one is enough.  Unlike other tosai that i had tasted, this doesn't have any sour taste in it.  The tosai will come with dahl, curry and chili paste.  The tosai is cooked with no sign of any burn so this is really healthy for a health conscious person like me.
