It is the third generation cream and I think the formulation is better than the previous predecessor. The cream is opaque white and turns transparent giving a radiant sheen on the skin. Application is really easy and it doesn't make my skin feel sticky or tacky. I think it is very good on dry skin or as a night cream at night. I was actually worried if I will get breakouts despite my skin being so dry now but I haven't get any breakout so it is really good for acne prone skin too. Just don't be greedy on the amount. About a dime or RM0.20 will do for the whole face. It doesn't sting on my skin or even on the area that was so dry to the point that it was red. Klairs moist soothing cream really does what it claims. It heal that very dry area and sooth the redness.
Here is a photo for comparison, it is an immediate relief of dry skin. I was so glad that I have this or else I don't think I can even step out of the house with such horrible skin.
Other normal cream would have make me have clogged pores but this cream is good because the main ingredients is water so it is very light on my skin despite it being a cream. It is suitable for those having acne prone with dry skin type.
The scent has a subtle grassy kind which is not overpowering. The scent disappear upon application so for those who do not like it scent at all, it is fine.
It can also act as a very good base for those who has a dry skin. Just mix it a little with foundation or BB or CC cream for smooth application.
This jar will sure last me very long and it is worth to get it especially for cold weathers and for those with acne and dry skin. It helps to moisturise the skin without making you break out more. The only problem is that there is no spatula and some people will be afraid of using products in jar since it is easily contaminated. To avoid that I scoop two weeks worth of moisturiser into another travel jar for usage. It is better than I contaminate it with my fingers.
