The pore toner is to keep the skin smooth and matte so I guess it is more for oil control.  The toner comes in form of watery liquid which absorb into the skin fast leaving a matte feeling.  The liquid smells of fresh lemon which disappeared after I apply other products.

Personally, I have tried this toner for three weeks before I give it up. I am sorry that I can't continue using it for another two more weeks because it is just drying on my combination skin.  Alcohol Denat which is high in the list is too much for my current finicky skin to handle. My skin feels dry.  There are other plants oil such as Lavender Oil, Lemon, Olive, Grapefruit, rose oil , rosemary leaf oil and hydrogenated oil but these are lower in the list so it doesn't really help much.  I am sorry that my skin prefers hydrating kind of toner so a toner that is about mattifying and pore control isn't for me.  It doesn't really help with my acne and it doesn't cause more acne so I guess that is the good point there.

Overall, I would recommend this to someone who could handle alcohol and to someone with extreme oily skin without sensitivity to any of the listed ingredients.

REVIEW ON WHITE FORMULA自白肌 SUPER MOIST LIGHT TONER WITH HYALURONIC ACID

When White Formula自白肌 Super Moist Light Toner With Hyaluronic Acid, it immediately reminds me of a popular Japanese brand. I guess this is the closest dupe that I noticed from the market.

Before I start going into my views of this product, here is some information about the product.

WHITE FORMULA自白肌 SUPER MOIST LIGHT TONER WITH HYALURONIC ACID 

It is just like water but doesn't smell like one XP .

The toner is very light and feels like water. It absorb into the skin fast and leaves no residue nor sticky feeling. The skin does feel hydrated and comfortable. There is faint smell of hyaluronic acid will smell-a little plastic? The smell does disappeared once on the skin. Of course this toner is not an exfoliating toner so I guess I don't need to find out the Ph level.

WHITE FORMULA自白肌 SUPER MOIST LIGHT TONER WITH HYALURONIC ACID 

The toner is hydrating and one can use it as mist for people who do not like heavy toner or just want light hydration for layering purposes. I will say that the ingredients do look very similar to the Hada Labo one and could be possible dupe if you are looking for the extra niacinamide in their toner.

It tried it for a month and while I don't think it break me out, it is just a light cheap boast of hydration.  You could use it with cotton pad or compressed mask for sheet masking which will provide better hydrating effect.  While, I really think it a light lotion, I don't think it did anything to get rid of my stubborn acne or reduce my pores.

I find that Super Moist light toner is an affordable hydrating toner and could be possible dupe of the Hada Labo. The reason that it is not well known is probably because it is not endorse by a famous Korean celebrities but if you are looking for something similar to Hada Labo with hyaluronic acid, you could try to look into this toner.





Do be careful and look into the ingredients first.

The hole is not that big so you won't spill a lot even if you drop it to the floor.

Sorry, can you see how dry my skin is? The toner has a fluid form but unlike water, it has a thicker texture which absorb into the skin fast.  Although it is recommended for dry skin, combination skin will also like as it doesn't leave an residue or make the skin feels any oily.  Men would probably like the subtle scent too as it is not floral at all.

The tone makes other absorption of other skincare easier.Since it is formulated with plant extracts, my sensitive did not flare up or turn red.  In fact it helps to calm my skin and clean my pores which interesting because I do not normally find that feature in toners.  I don't think you can use this for mask so please do not try to use as mask.

Overall, I would buy this again and recommend it those who has dry skin or looking for soothing Korean toner.  It is a great products to have in hand although it is a little pricey if you buy it on it's own.  Getting the set which has the toner is a lot of more worth than getting the individual products.

I would say that the taste of this sparkling water is better than the Spritzer sparkling water I have tried.  It tastes like mineral water with bubbles inside the mouth if you hold the water inside for a while.  Since it is made from glass, I think the goodness of the water is still maintained.  The water does bubble up upon contact with skin but the bubbles are too small to really be noticed.

Does it really work?  Again I am not sure but it is sure better to use sparkling water to just spray it on the face as mist than using the tap water.  It is expensive to use the whole bottle of the water every day for the sake of my face as I can’t afford it and besides I am too lazy.  So, not sure if I would buy it again.  I think some Korean products has higher and more effective amount of carbonated sparkling water in them than the sparkling water available in the market.

SKINCARE VIEWS: IS IT NECESSARY TO USE TONER?

I think it has been a long battle between the two reasons. One side will say that is it is useless to use toner and it is just a waste of money while the other one said it is a must to use toner in the daily routine. I think there is truth to both sides of the stories.

This is my opinion on it.



Use a toner

• You do not exfoliate your skin with scrubs, mask, vitamins or using any cleansing tools

• Use toner to help preps skin because it moisturize the skin

• You just need something for you to feel really clean

• You are die hard follower of the Korean skincare steps

You do need toner

• You are already using exfoliating agents-retinol, scrubs, peels, vitamin or those cleansing tools

• You have sensitive skin that can’t take any friction

• Too lazy to spend too much time on having too many steps in your skincare routine

• Wanting to have money

As to answer the question does using toner helps to have flawless skin? Again it is Yes and No. Yes, if you get the right toners for your skin type and no if your skin is already in the best condition so asking this toner to do it wonders is just impossible.

Again, it is an endless journey of searching for the ‘right’ toner as not every toners are the same and suits everybody. Toner is just one of the contributing to the flawless skin and it is not meant to be use alone.

Personally, the toner that I think that I like generally like are those with calming agents and also those essence types because it will make the skin bouncy.


Overall, having a good skincare routine is important.  Using or not using toner is just a part of it.
