Do you love Korean skincare products?  If you do, today I am sharing another review from a Korean brand Skinmiso.  If you have read my reviews on Skimiso pore pack and pore corset serum which are really famous and loves by many, you will like this one too.

South Korea is famous with their Asian skincare routine and the skincare products that works on par with some high end brands at the fraction of price.  Korean brands come up with products that suits every skin type making it easy to choose the suitable products for your skin.

How to use:
1)Cleanse and clear pores with the Rice Foam Cleansing.

3) Apply an adequate amount of the Spot Repairing Serum to areas of redness or irritation.
4) Last but not least, apply an even layer of the Pore Zero Night Cream to the entire face before going to bed !




The direction on the usage of the Skinmiso pore zero cream for those who want to use the entire range of Skinmiso products. This routine basically treats large pore problem, redness, dryness, ageing and irritation.

You do not have to buy all the products as "how to use".

The only product that I use from the "how to use" is the Skinmiso pore zero night cream.  So, results may varies according to how you tweak your skincare products.

The tube is made from plastic. It is 80g and you should finish it within 6months after opening since it is not hygienic to keep dip your fingers into the tube.

The first ingredients is water and the second ingredient is glycerin which are beneficial for the skin. Dimethicone is a type of silicone-the reason of suggestion for dry skin type and as night cream.  It is good to use it during winter or in cold weather.  The ingredients are not irritating or pores clogging =).

It will be a little heavier if you have super oily skin type.

I have combination skin type (oily on nose & normal on the other area) as well as sensitivity.  However, skin gets dry during the night so this is perfect for it.  I think it is very thoughtful of Skinmiso to come up with skincare products that has pore tightening properties for dry skin type.  The usual products for pore are for oily skin type.  Dry skin type should not use skincare products for oily skin type or else your skin will be irritated and turn really red.

The cream smell faintly of mixture of licorice and sage.  The cream might look heavy but it will melt upon contact with your skin leaving no trace of oiliness.  A little is enough for the whole face which is really economical.  A jar can last few months.  My skin is really more moisturised and pores are less obvious after 1month of usage.  Skin is really soft too.  I do recommend dry skin type to try this =) .

The is some differences from the lighting but I guess one can see the differences because I actually took the after even clearer and nearer.  My pores are smaller =). Smoother and brighter skin too.

KOREAN SKINCARE ROUTINE 2015 FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN

Many had actually emailed me and asked me to recommend products for acne prone skin.  Actually I am not in a position to tell what you should buy because I haven't get to try all the products in the world as well as my limited knowledge to what I had tried and what works for me.  Besides, I am not a certified dermatologist who is trained with many years of knowledge about skin.

I am just a self-taught person who through trial and errors found products suitable for me.

Before getting whatever I use, please check your age, skin types, your allergies(acne prone skin are known to be allergic to few things namely nuts, milk, sugar or medicine) and your type of acne (cystic, small localised bumps, pustules, blackheads or whiteheads).

Currently my skin is not bad but it is not perfect.  I still have those box scars and only procedure can remove it.  By the way, if you are pregnant, then I don't suggest you to use exactly what I used.


I am actually already in my late 20s so the type of skincare products I used are different from teenagers because adult skin can't take any harsh beating. Skin also heal way slower than the teenagers thus the scars =( .

Nevertheless here is what I actually use when I have pimples/trouble/acne.


Cleanser

Natural skincare cleanser- a'kin sandalwood and neroli pure facial cleansing gel (combination skin)
Drugstore - cetaphil gentle skin cleanser (dry skin) (if you do not mind paraben) Amazon link

These two are my favourite cleansers after trying so many in the market.  Cetaphil has paraben if you don't mind.  I don't use cleanser specifically for acne because they are mostly drying.

Here are my few favourites.  I had tried so many and will still come back to these.  They are not from expensive brands but they work wonders.  Clindamycin is a type of antibiotic so stay away from it if you are allergic to aspirin or antibiotic.  Differin is a type of gentle retinoid but I think one need prescription if you are from the US.  In Malaysia, you can just get it from pharmacies.

Pure tea tree oil is generally recommended for oily skin type and do not use it too much as it is can be toxic.  It works.

Nixoderm is actually sulfur and it works wonderfully but do not apply too much as it will burnt your face.  Mmm, after all beauty is pain?

I love calamine to heal the skin and to reduce the size of the pimples but of course you can only use it at night or else looking like a ghost with white patches around the face.

It is really important to use moisturiser since acne prone skin get irritated when it is dry.  Even if you have oily skin, you should use one.  Marula oil works the best on irritated skin but it is the most expensive one out of the four but if you have the money, you should try it.



Blackheads&whitehead

skinmiso pore beauty nose pack from koreaIf you only have blackheads and whiteheads on the nose then try this.  I think it is still the best even after trying so many brands for blackheads and whiteheads.  This is the only one that hasn't fail me and still work despite using it for few years.



If you are wondering why I didn't recommend toner, serum or emulsion, it is because my skin is too irritated to be able to use too many things when I have pimples so I will just use few products.  You should use sunscreen during the day even when you have pimples to prevent further damage to the skin.

What is ECOCERT? What is BIO?

ECOCERT is an organic certification organization founded in France in 1991. Its Ecological and Organic Charter is considered as the standards of the organic industry. Its certification standards are extremely stringent, completely prohibiting disputable ingredients and most synthetic preservatives in products. Detailed analysis is also carried out. This is to ensure the ingredients, place of origins, production methods; refining methods, quality preservation and other aspects fulfil relevant eco-friendly organic standards before being approved for certification. BIO is the certification dedicated to beauty care products, to certify there is at least 95% of the total ingredients are from natural origin, and at least 95% of the total plant-based ingredients are organic, while at least 10% of the total ingredients are from organic farming.*Generally, beauty care products contain 50% – 80% water. I have been using it for sometimes and it is one of the essential in my recent makeupbag.  To be frank, the mist smell of rose but some might not like the after smell which smelt a little like 'dried rose'.  To me it smell fine.  In case if you are worry about the smell, it disappeared after a few second.  The mist is not that fine and there is a wet feeling or water droplets left on the skin if you spray too near. So, follow the instruction and don't spray too near.

What I like about Melvita Organic Rose Beauty Mist is it does make the the skin soft and cool down the skin especially on a hot day. Easy to carry around and even if you drop on the floor it won't break into pieces.  It is really useful to carry such mist during summer or in countries that one have two seasons.  One plus point for this product it is made from organic products and safe for your skin.

Actually, I do not even think that the day that I will need to use cream moisturiser. It is the third generation cream and I think the formulation is better than the previous predecessor.  The cream is opaque white and turns transparent giving a radiant sheen on the skin.  Application is really easy and it doesn't make my skin feel sticky or tacky.  I think it is very good on dry skin or as a night cream at night.  I was actually worried if I will get breakouts despite my skin being so dry now but I haven't get any breakout so it is really good for acne prone skin too.  Just don't be greedy on the amount.  About a dime or RM0.20 will do for the whole face.  It doesn't sting on my skin or even on the area that was so dry to the point that it was red.  Klairs moist soothing cream really does what it claims.  It heal that very dry area and sooth the redness.

the immediate effect of using KLAIRS MOIST SOOTHING CREAM

Here is a photo for comparison, it is an immediate relief of dry skin.  I was so glad that I have this or else I don't think I can even step out of the house with such horrible skin.

Other normal cream would have make me have clogged pores but this cream is good because the main ingredients is water so it is very light on my skin despite it being a cream.  It is suitable for those having acne prone with dry skin type.

The scent has a subtle grassy kind which is not overpowering. The scent disappear upon application so for those who do not like it scent at all, it is fine.

It can also act as a very good base for those who has a dry skin.  Just mix it a little with foundation or BB or CC cream for smooth application.

This jar will sure last me very long and it is worth to get it especially for cold weathers and for those with acne and dry skin.  It helps to moisturise the skin without making you break out more.  The only problem is that there is no spatula and some people will be afraid of using products in jar since it is easily contaminated.  To avoid that I scoop two weeks worth of moisturiser into another travel jar for usage.  It is better than I contaminate it with my fingers.
