 The paper is made from high quality as it is waterproof and does not get wet or tore easily.  Packaging is simple, recyclable and has all the details.

 I just love this natural Lemongrass shampoo with Juniper in it.  The smell is not last lasting tough but well I can always sniff it from the bottle.  Some do not want to smell like some cooking ingredients so I guess that the smell is made subtle and not to last long.  I on the other hand love the smell of this shampoo that I would automatically reach for this shampoo whenever I want to wash my hair.  Smell really great!  It cleanses my hair really well to the point that there is no sign of grease on my hair.  The effect lasted few days considering that it is a natural products.  It doesn't leave the hair dry too and that is what I like about it.  I find it easy to wash the hair with shampoo although it doesn't lather up much.  That is understandable because it doesn't contain sulphate.  Lemongrass shampoo is for greasy and oily hair type so if you have sensitive hair, go for the other type of shampoo in A'kin.  There is a really scentless shampoo for sensitive scalp too.

The Lavender Leave in Conditioner immediately turn my into a very soft manageable hair whenever I apply it be it dry or wet.  You can also apply it to protect the hair from the heat of styling.  One only need very small amount and the 150ml can last you very long.  I love the smell of lavender and the smell is sure very subtle and not overpowering.  Even man would find this hard to resist.  I find myself using this on the days I skip conditioner during washing my hair.

Price is affordable for natural products and the two products works.  Both products last long considering I use the products everyday.  There is less hair falls now too considering that my hair starts to drop when it reach certain length.  I guess it must because of the help from the shampoo and conditioner.

REVIEW ON HUMAN NATURE OVERNIGHT ELIXER

Beauty oil has become quite an important skincare items now especially for mature skin (30 and above).  In contrast to what most people think, beauty oil does not clog pores.  I mean beauty oil that are specially made as skincare products.  Of course I don't mean those cooking oil because cooking oil and beauty oil are two totally different things.

I got two vials of the overnight elixer which I can say smell so nice, I keep sniffing the bottle since I like the smell of rosemary very much.  The oil has medium texture.  It is not watery nor too thick.  Once the oil absorb into the skin, I can really feel that my skin is much plump and well moisturised.  No greasy feeling left on the skin.  So, don't worry that one will wake up with oily face.  My skin texture is very much softer than without using the oil.  I think Overnight Elixer would work great for mature skin to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles =) .  If you are asking if it works to get rid of pimples or acne-I don't think it does but it will sure reduce the scars (not those holes)  and reduce redness.

The oil smell just like sunflower oil and it is a little yellowish so there is nothing special about it.  The uniqueness of this oil lies in the texture.  The oil absorb into the skin fast leaving no trace of oil on the skin. It has the texture of essence which is runny and watery.  No sticky feeling afterwards. So, it is good for those who dislike oily feeling.  On the hair, it will make the hair soft and tame down all those hairs.  You could use it to protect the hair from hair dryer.

My lips is so dry that it is full with cracks and applying this help reduces the condition.

I tried it on my eyes area and it doesn't cause oil of anything of that sort.  Instead it help with the fine lines I have around my eyes.=) I like to use to the sunflower oil to moisturise my lips at night instead of petroleum jelly.  It works the same as petroleum jelly.  No greasy feeling or weird taste for sure.

You could use it as body oil since it is doesn't make your skin greasy.  Very good to moisturise the skin.  One bottle could last you very long and the price is sure affordable.  This Human Nature sunflower beauty oil is different from the cooking sunflower oil.

Here is the list of ingredients. It is made from natural products and no harmful ingredients. The fragrance is from natural oil. The shampoo smell nice and it is not chocking on me at all. It does smell a little like lychee or pamelo but I just couldn’t figure it out the exact scent.

The bottle is really very simple and white. It is non slippery type of bottle.



The shampoo is colourless and really very watery. However, do not look down upon it. The shampoo sure lathered up very well. I get a lot of foam just from a little amount of shampoo. It cleanses my scalp really well and to my surprise there is no residue left on my hair. Love the pampered feeling of the calming smell of the shampoo. The effect of having clean, oil free scalp lasted for three days which is marvelous because normal shampoo couldn't stop my scalp from being greasy when the sun sets. That is how greasy my scalp is.

This shampoo cleanses my hair really well and this is super cheap considering that it is only RM24.90 for 200ml! Normal clarifying shampoo normally cost more than that! I will sure buy this again once I finish my bottle of shampoo.

The shampoo is opaque white with tiny shimmering of particles(looks like fairy dust) and it lathered up easily.  It does clean the hair and the effect does last considering I have oily hair.

This shampoo is really affordable and I think it smell really nice.  It doesn't smell anything flowery but the smell lasted me whole day.  It does moisturise the hair and my hair is really soft even without using the conditioner.  I think that it really help with reducing hair fall since my hair drop lesser after using this shampoo.

The conditioner is texture is thicker and it is opaque white.  It does make my so soft using them ^^.  The conditioner is more watery than the shampoo but very easy to use and wash off too. 

Overall, I think this is a good affordable drugstore shampoo for daily usage.

To tell you the truth, normally I don’t buy shampoo or conditioner with natural ingredients because these products usually don’t clean my oily hair well and I have to use huge amount of the shampoo and that makes me poorer since I finished 500ml in 2weeks. *sob* *sob* Poorer, broke and I need to wash the hair twice per day which is very bad for the hair.

I always have issues with oily hair and I am not surprised that every hairdresser that I go to would complain that my hair is oily. Well, better than dry hair right? So, I tend to stick to chemical shampoo and to me as long as it works, I don’t really care much.

However, this MVNE shampoo has changed my views on shampoo with natural ingredients. The packet which is 10ml is more than enough to create generous amount of foam on my hair. It cleanses my hair really well and I don’t feel any residue left on my scalp because it is free of silicone =) . The subtle scent of Eucalyptus oil, lavender oil and peppermint oil makes the process of washing my hair enjoyable and relaxing. The scent is not overpowering and so the scent lasted on my about 2hours after wash. The shampoo liquid is clear and quite watery with a slight texture of a gel. The effect lasted for two days when I normally have to wash my hair everyday. Surprisingly this shampoo is for all sort of hair and It works on my oily too. Love this shampoo and would definitely recommend this if you are looking for natural shampoo without silicone.


The conditioner is opaque white and cream type. It smells the same as the shampoo and equally relaxing. I use conditioner at the end of my hair and it make the hair strands super smooth without the silicone feeling or greasy. In fact, I don’t feel like there is any residue on the hair strands after washing off and my hair become so smooth. Combing my hair is made easy. I don’t have to untangle my hair with combs after shampoo and conditioner. This is really a marvelous conditioner to go by with the shampoo.

REVIEW ON OCTOBER WONDERBOX 2013

Since my birthday is coming soon next month, I just decided to get myself a box and it is Wonderbox. Sorry, I just did it on a whim and not even thinking about it. I know many would go for Bag of Love. Let just say I never get Wonderbox before and so decided to get it.

I know many complained about the unequal the amount of products. So according to them, they follow the profile so am sure on this. However, if plus the price of products, I think it is still more than RM 45 for the box and I don’t think anyone would like receiving the same Dermedex and Loreal Liese again in this box.

Since this is the first time I receive the box, I don’t received what others said as 'repeated' products.  The box is simple and lucky the ribbon is pink in colour as I dislike black and white ribbon actually.

This is twistband and not a scrunchy.  They are made of soft elastic, thicker than regular hair ties and don’t leave marks in your hair.  Some people use them to adorn their wrists.  I love bright orange colour like this ^^.  i wanted them for a looooooooooooooooong time and they really sent in for my first box ^^.  I love it so much ^^.  The twistband really doesn't leave a dent like those rubber band and scrunchies do.  Their ranging price are from RM 16 to RM28 in a packet of three.  Made in US

REVIEW ON PHYTOCITRUS RESTRUCTURING SHAMPOO PARIS

This shampoo really smell like oranges and other citrus fruits ^^.  It doesn't lathered up much and i need to use extra to put on my hair.  Whether it does help to repair the hair, i am not sure since i do not have coloured hair yet  > <  .  It does left my hair felt clean and my hair doesn't get oily that fast.  This is suppose to be more moisturizing and gentle for those coloured hair but my scalp is the oily type.  Well, i didn't get the volumizing one so this is also okay.

The deluxe sample i got comes in form of  plastic cap with metal bottle.  It is quite hardy as there isn't a dent on the bottle even when I dropped it on the floor few times.  It is good to recycle it back for travelling =P.  The liquid comes in milky clear orange colour.  This is an organic brand from France.  Dermatologist do recommend this brand too.  The shampoo smell of citrus fruits which I really enjoy.


I heard someone mentioned shampoo for the coloured hair is suppose to be more gentle and makes the hair shinier.  My hair is in okay condition since i don't usually dye it.  So, I am not sure about the shinning effect.  My hair wasn't any particular soft when I use this shampoo so I still need a little conditioner and mask to achieve that soft effect.

REVIEW ON MAY BAG OF LOVE (BEST OF BEAUTY)

I was so surprise when i got a parcel from The Bag of Love and i thought that they had made a mistake and was about to message them.  hahahaha.  Then, i checked in their Facebook page and saw the announcement that they had sent the May bag for the winner of April Bag of love from The Butterfly Project-Beauty Blogger.  That was totally unexpected ^^.  It just made my day.*dancing*  Lets unzip this bag and go through them.

This month team is Best of Beauty.  So far, this is the heaviest as in volume because of the Dove Body Wash 200ml.  This time around, they are really careful and the shampoo and the Dove body wash is sealed with plastic bag securely.  The bag itself look bigger and really luxurious too.  I love it as now i got extras bag that i can use to store my skincare products when i go travelling ^^.

See that they are all in plastic bag?  They take extras measure to wrap it up this time.  I love the Dove body shampoo so much.  I used it immediately after i found it inside the bag =).  Didn't take picture before i used it first.  So eager to use this body shampoo.  It smell divine and milky.  I don't even need to use any body lotion after that.

Crabtree&Evelyn Somerset Meadow Hand Therapy, 25g Full size RM30

This smell so good.  Smell really like the freshness of grass.  It also make my hand so soft and silky to the touch=) .  Saw that the second ingredient is macadamia oil.  I just love to eat macadamia and the oil on my face is so good!!!  Sorry for the dent on the tube of hand cream cause it came like that.  Nothing comes perfect and a little dent does not affect the product anyway.
