It has been long...since I reviewed some body products from France.  I actually bought Melvita L'Argan Bio Body Oil in Cream some time ago and have been taking ages to do review on it since I was either busy, tired, small sick, my toy is sick, my books are sick, my brain is not working and bla bla bla bla .... (my usual excuses and complains XD ).

I guess it is about time that I review Melvita L'Argan Bio Body Oil in Cream because if not I will not probably do it until I finish the whole jar.  If you have very dry body skin like I do, then do have a look at my review for this body cream for very dry skin.

Melvita L'Argan Bio Body Oil in Cream is made from organic and natural ingredients.  There are ingredients that supplies the oil and water (water, sunflower seed, Shea butter, cetearyl alcohol&vitamin E) to prevent the loss of moisture from the skin which happens with dry skin type.  Skin dry tends not to have enough oil and water so this product supplies those two to help condition the dryness of dry skin type.

It is a thick cream that absorbs into the skin after rubbing it a few times.  Personally, the Shea butter smell gets weaker after the cream dries down.  It isn't sticky and doesn't up even with constant rubbing.  It has the same smells as Melvita L'argan Bio Body Butter which is nice.

The jar really lasted me so time because I only need a little for my arms and legs.

Overall, I think this is a great nice cream if you are looking for organic products, do not mind spending the money and have really dry skin.

Ingredients:
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Glycolic Acid, RetinylPalmitate (Vit. A), Parfum (Benzoyl Benzoate, Citronellol, Coumarin, Limonene, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool), CI 16035.

Dr.Lewinn's Essentials Purifying Toner has great nice ingredients that include vitamin A, AHA. It uses Sorbic, Acid Phenoxyethanolas and  Propylene Glycol as preservative .  Caprylyl Glycol is a skin conditioning agent.  The fragrance blends are from plants.  CI 16035 is actually the red colouring in the bottle.

It is a dermatologist grade toner so there isn't any fragrance so the smell is a blend of all the ingredients. It smells faintly of dried jasmine flower. It disappeared fast once it dried so no worries.

Dr.Lewinn's Essentials Purifying Toner is clear pink watery liquid. It does absorb into my skin fast and my other skincare does feel easier to apply.  Since the first ingredient is aloe vera, the toner is really gentle and I do not experienced overexfoliation during my usage of this toner.  It doesn't immediately make my skin amazing but it does help with keeping my skin hydrated with better skin texture. The PH is around 5-6 which slightly acidic so I think sensitive skin can use this too.

You do need to use it with other products to get better results in terms of exfoliation or getting rid of rough skin texture.

Overall, Dr.Lewinn's Essentials Purifying Toner is an aloe vera based hydrating toner medical grade toner for combination skin, looking for dermatologist products for anti ageing and gentle on the skin.

When sometimes smell so good, one should feed it to my skin right?

I was actually very excited to receive this wash off mask inside my package =)  .  I have checking out reviews after reviews and really do wonder about this Banish Pumpkin enzyme masque which is quite a sensation in the beauty world.

As usual, I am skeptical about it and just can't wait to try it out on my face.  If you are not sure about skin type, I have combination sensitive acne prone skin which makes it hard to find skincare products.

Banish Pumpkin enzyme masque

Banish Pumpkin enzyme masque comes in a dark glass jar.  The design and everything else is simple but I think it doesn't matter as long the products work on my skin.

If you like the smell of pumpkin pie, then you will for sure like this =). I am very much in love with the smell of food but of course I know this is to feed my face.  Application is really smooth and easy.  If you have sensitive skin like me, try to control the amount to about the tip of your little finger.  Also remember to patch test because I do feel the 'hot' sensation which can turn into burning if you apply a lot.  Apply about a pea size for one area.
The reason for it because of the cinnamon and nutmeg powder. These two ingredients are good for acne prone skin but it can burn a lot especially if you have highly thin skin.

Also, I would recommend to 1-2 application per week at night instead of 3 times which is more for really oily skin type.  Also do not use other BHA or AHA on the day you use Banish Pumpkin enzyme masque else it can hurt or you will highly over exfoliate and have red skin afterwards. Another is moisturise your skin and don't leave it to dry after washing off the mask.

When I look into the ingredients, there are many ingredients that helps with reducing inflammation, killing acne causing bacteria, moisturise and also exfoliate the skin.  I do like that the first ingredient is their star ingredients and not somewhere low in the list.  Other ingredients such as Bilberry, Sugar Cane, Vitamin C, Rosemary, Ginger and Glycolic acid are some of my favourite ingredients to reduce acne.
However, do check just in case some of the ingredients are not for you.

As for me, I use it twice a week and each time, Banish Pumpkin enzyme masque helps to make my skin smooth XD.  It does help to remove blackheads, shrink the the size of acne and smoother out the texture which is great.  My skin looks better the next day.

Overall, I think Banish Pumpkin enzyme masque is great for people who is looking for an exfoliating mask, couldn't handle other exfoliating products in other forms(serum, toner, essence), combination or oily skin type, acne prone, like natural organic products and cruelty free products.

andLAB Xylitol Mild Sun cushion SPF50 PA+++ uses 20 natural oriental medicine, mild for skin and deep moisturising with Bio-mimetic Water, Xylitol, adenosine and niacinamide.  I think the concept is interesting as oriental medicine ingredients are well received for their effectiveness and gentle on the skin.

I can't denied that having sunscreen in cushion form does make me use it more.  I don't really like to use my dirty finger to apply sunscreen when I am outside. Besides, it is easier to apply sunscreen with cushion puff in the morning than trying to rub my sunscreen with my fingers.

andLAB Xylitol Mild Sun cushion SPF50 PA+++ is a mix sunscreen since it contains zinc oxide. titanium oxide as well as Avobenzone that presents in chemical sunscreen.  Do check the ingredients that I have translated (sorry if some of it is wrong since I have zero ability to read Hangul).

andLAB Xylitol Mild Sun cushion SPF50 PA+++ feels cooling during the application which I do like. It goes on transparent on my skin with very faint brightening effect if you see it in natural lighting, looks matte and if you touch it with fingers, it is moisturising.  It has a light tone down scent which is a little like fresh wash clothes.

It claims to be sebum controlling and doesn't stick to the phone screen...only for the first 2 hours or maybe a few hours if you use a moisturiser that works with this sunscreen. I was using the emulsion and living in a super hot country and with humidity over 90%, it is good that it just doesn't become an oil mess by the end of 8hours.  It doesn't clog my skin or cause redness.

It is a dermatologist brand and heard that products are made in the same lab as Dr.Jart XD so I guess if you like Dr.Jart products then you could have a look into this brand.

Overall, andLAB Xylitol Mild Sun cushion SPF50 PA+++ is a convenient dermatologist sunscreen with oriental medicinal ingredients which is an interesting concept and good for someone looking for a no white cast sunscreen.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) has been a blooming rave in the Asian beauty community.  There are reasons for this sudden popularity about this Japanese skincare products considering many beauty products out there.

So, here is a review on the Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) which I have been using and trying for more than a month.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) is hydrating toner that comes in a pink jumbo size 500ml plastic pump bottle.

Please do check up the list of ingredients in the Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist). The placenta extract is from horse so it is from animal. I have actually provided the details in my Instagram if interested to view it.

There is high moist version contains moisturising ingredients such as arginine, rice ferment filtrate (sake),castor oil, soybean protein, ceramide 3, Ceramide 6 II and Glutamic Acid in it.  It doesn't contain alcohol in it.

Personally, like others said I dislike the pump which seems to be faulty or something. The precious Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) just came gushing out all over if I do not 'cup' my hand over the pump. So, most people decant it into another bottle.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) is a hydrating toner that works well for any skin type under another moisturiser and won't pile.  It absorbs really fast, watery and doesn't leave any stickiness.  It is great as mist, with sheet masks and as body lotion too if you do not much time to hydrate the skin.

I would say that Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion works well for people that finds fermented products work well for them. However, it is not for someone who deals with fungal acne since this contains yeast.  Still, if you only find about two or three whiteheads on the acne where you normally breakouts when using this lotion, then it is normal since the yeast in the lotion might be trying to adapt with your skin.

As for the smells, some people think it smells of bubblegum while some think of the smells as bananas, bubblegum or sake. Some loves the smell and some dislike it but bear with because the smells does disappeared once it dries down.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion comes in a huge bottle which is the reason for the popularity and the hydration that it provides throughout the winter seasons along with the ceramide that it has that helps with the skin repairing process.

Overall, I do like Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion for the versatility and the low cost per bottle which is really great. I would be better if the company could substitute it with something else than animal placenta or remove it from the product.

REVIEW ON DR. LEWINN'S ESSENTIALS 4-FUSION CLEANSING OIL

Korean trend suggests using oil cleanser to actually clean the skin the better and remove the makeup products better compare to just using foam cleanser.  While I am not really into all the double cleansing because most oil cleanser just left me with those oil residue which I don’t really like, this oil cleanser I am going to talk about isn’t the same.

In fact, I thought that Dr.Lewinn's Essentials 4 Fusion Cleansing oil is probably just going to be the typical oil cleanser but then after using for more than a month, this seriously justify why I do like it.

A luxurious, cleansing oil that melts away all traces of make-up and impurities, leaving skin supple andsoft. Formulated with a unique fusion of botanical essences. Directions:
Pump a small amount on dry hands. Gently massage in circular movements and spread onto dry face. Add a few drops ofwater onto face and emulsify. Rinse off with water. For optimum results, follow with preferred toner and moisturiser.

The ingredients in Dr.Lewinn's Essentials 4 Fusion Cleansing oil looks great and this is the first time I see soybean as the main ingredients for oil cleanser.  Dehydroacetic Acid is the preservative used for this cleanser.  POE (20) Glyceryl Triisostearate is the skin Conditioning Agent , emollient, Surfactant and emulsifying agent.

Other ingredients are basically oils from plants. Vit. E), Sweet Almond Oil, Rose Hips Fruit Oil, Tamanu Seed Oil, Argan Oil, Baobab Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Olive Fruit Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil. Still check out the ingredient list for potential allergen.

Dr.Lewinn's Essentials 4 Fusion Cleansing oil bottle is elegant with the slender tall bottle. You will need to turn the cap to the right to pump the products out.  One thing that I don't like is the bottle will leak if you only pump half the bottle or accidentally drop it.  I don't know if it is my bottle or other bottles are like this too.

The oil cleanser comes out in form of liquid oil. The thickness of the oil is something like tea tree oil which is very thin and watery. I am in love with the smell of faint refreshing ginger with hint of calendula and rose.

Dr.Lewinn's Essentials 4 Fusion Cleansing oil removes makeup even waterproof one and is really gentle on my skin. I do like that my skin feels rejuvenated each time I use it too. It helps clear my skin breakouts each time without irritating.  It feels clean without dryness and left my skin bouncy.  I find that it  is fine to just use it on its own without a second cleanser.

Overall, Dr.Lewinn's Essentials 4 Fusion Cleansing oil is a good alternative if you are looking for a oil cleanser that is not mineral oil and uses soybean as alternative. A good oil cleanser for every skin type.
