The light blue glass jar with silver cap just screamed luxury!  It looks like a blue pearl XD .  The reflective lid of good quality as it doesn't fade out.  The lid is not the screw thread type but those 'click' type.  The jar is heavy so be careful during handling it.

The cream is light blue as well which fits the shades of the jar XD.  The cream is really smooth, soft and smell very hanbang with floral mix into it.  The smell does fade away after a few minutes of application on the skin. I find that the cream is smooth, hydrates and absorbs well into my skin.  Since it is water based, it isn't sticky, doesn't clogged or irritates my skin.  I normally find cream heavy but this Hansaeng Cosmetics RIN Bi-gyeol Soo Cream is just great for someone who is looking into anti ageing skincare products but want something which is light and doesn't clogged acne prone skin.  My skin does feel plumper and more hydrated when I use the cream.  It works well under makeup and doesn't pile.

There are many brightening, anti inflammatory and moisturising ingredients presented such as niacinamide,
Lactobacillus/Panax Ginseng Root Ferment Filtrate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cercis Chinensis, Uncaria Sinensis, Cimicifuga racemosa, Angelica dahurica, Bletilla striata, Trichosanthes kirilowii, Amomum xanthioides, Eugenia caryophyllus, Vigna Radiata, Gleditschia australis thorn, Broussonetia Papyrifera, Nardostachys chinensis Batalin, Safflower, Trifolium Pratense, Papaver Rhoeas, Pueraria Thunbergiana, Hibiscus Sabdariffa,Squalane, Chrysanthemum, Ophiopogon Japonicus, Codonopsis Lanceolata, Magnolia Liliflora, Polygonum Multiflorum, Astragalus Membranaceus,  Betaine, Glyceryl Stearate, Adenosine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glyceryl Caprylate and Scutellaria Baicalensis.

There are ingredients many ingredients from plant, ingredients derived from coconut such as cetearyl alcohol and stearic acid.  Dimethicone, Triethanolamine, colouring are presented but they are low in the list. Still do check the ingredients list since what you are allergic to and mine may not be the same.

Overall, would recommend Hansaeng Cosmetics RIN Bi-gyeol Soo Cream for one looking for oriental Korean medicine skincare (hanbang), luxurious packaging, looks to start anti aging products but wanted something light, affordable price, great company history and have sensitive, dry, or out of balanced skin.

REVIEW PAULA'S CHOICE MALAYSIA- PAULA'S CHOICE RESIST YOUTH EXTENDING DAILY HYDRATING FLUID BROAD SPECTRUM SPF50

Paula's Choice is a trusted brand for their skincare.  I have read about this popular US brand and seeing them featured in many magazine like Vogue.  Their most popular product that many acne prone skin have attest is their Paula's Choice Resist Daily Pore-Refining Treatment with 2% BHA .

I am so glad that this brand is finally in Malaysia because I know I have surely waited for this brand for years.
For today I am reviewing Paula's Choice Resist Youth Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid Spectrum SPF 50 which is a sunscreen for oily acne prone skin which I think many will be curious to know about.

The sunscreen comes in form of a very light emulsion.  It absorbed fast into the skin and I don't even feel anything after the sunscreen dries up.  The finished is a hydrated moist looking skin which is not matte nor oily looking.  As for the oil control, I think my nose does have a slight sheen when oil comes out from the nose while my other drier areas is the same as it was in the morning and is not flaky.  I don't have huge pores so can't say something about that but the Paula's Choice Resist Youth Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid Spectrum does blur out the skin making it look slightly better.

The sunscreen doesn't have any fragrance to it so it smell a little like 'plastic' which is extremely faint and hardly noticeable.  Doesn't have any smell on my skin once dried.

It doesn't leave a white cast on the skin at all and it will not cause 'pilling' if you use foundation or BB cream after the sunscreen.  I think it is great for someone who has oily skin and lives in humid places.  I have been using it for two weeks and it didn't aggravate my skin condition nor clogged my pores.  I like that the few ingredients are water and glycerin which is very useful for hydrating the skin and keeping the skin moist.  After all, I like hydrated skin but minus those pore clogging ingredients.  There are some plants extract that are antioxidant to the skin but of course I couldn't attest to those ingredients unless I have been using them for two years.

Sunscreen is a good investment for your skin and it is one of the best thing you could do to prevent damage to your skin.

Overall, I will recommend it to oily or combination acne prone skin that needs a light sunscreen that hydrates their skin.  I think this Paula's Choice Resist Youth Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid Spectrum SPF 50 is as good as a famous French brand which is not available in Malaysia.  If you are looking for that brand, this is a similar product.

REVIEW ON MALAYSIA DAISY HANDMADE BODY PRODUCTS-PAPAYA SOAP,RICE SOAP, SINUS SOAP,CLAY SOAP,PEPPERMINT FOOT SCRUB&SEA SALT BODY SCRUB

I think it is time for me to talk about some indie products produced in Malaysian soil.  Daisy handmade brand produces very affordable handmade products locally and they have many great body products.  A friend gifted them to me since I love body stuff and I am thrilled to find some products with ingredients such as rice and papaya.

MALAYSIA DAISY HANDMADE BODY PRODUCTS-PAPAYA SOAP,RICE SOAP, SINUS SOAP,CLAY SOAP,PEPPERMINT FOOT SCRUB&SEA SALT BODY SCRUB

MALAYSIA DAISY HANDMADE BODY PRODUCTS-PAPAYA SOAP,RICE SOAP, SINUS SOAP,CLAY SOAP,PEPPERMINT FOOT SCRUB&SEA SALT BODY SCRUB

Clay soap M25-the one in grey
Rice Soap-RM12-RM15
Papaya Soap RM 12
Sinus Soap RM25

The clay mask is suitable for those who have very oily body skin.  The clay mask is mix with some other ingredients that you can feel the 'beads'.  So, do not scrub the soap directly on the skin.
If you have sensitive skin, it is not recommended.  The mask is really made from clay as it smell like one XD.  It is really great in getting rid of all the oil, sweat, clean up the pores from underarms for those who sweats a lot.

The Papaya Soap suits those that looks for whitening soap.  It provides exfoliation on the skin to get rid of dead cells so it can be slightly drying if you have dry skin type.  You do need to combine the soap with other products for better whitening effect.

I love the Rice soap the most as it smells like rice bran and it makes the body skin feels soft and moist.  It is not for getting rid of acne but recommended for those looking for soft skin since rice bran is good for normal skin to dry skin type.  I think this soap is great for those that looks for rice products and wouldn't want to spend tons of money on rice products.  I like this soap =)

I am sorry that I haven't try the Sinus soap since I do not have sinus so it won't have much affect on me.
All the soaps lathered up easily with a lot of foam.

DAISY HANDMADE BODY Sea salt body scrub in Lavender
Sea salt body scrub in Lavender

The Sea salt body scrub in Lavender  makes my body soft to the touch.  Your whole bathroom will smell like lavender =)  .  The salt is rather soft actually.  They have more other interesting scrub such as mangosteen which smell different XD.

MALAYSIA DAISY HANDMADE BODY PRODUCTS-Peppermint foot scrub
Peppermint foot scrub

The peppermint foot scrub is really fine.  It is easy to wash the products off and doesn't leave a sticky feeling on the leg.  The peppermint scrub smells so nice, minty and fresh.  It cleanses the feet well without feeling harsh.

Overall, I am loving the rice soap very much and the peppermint foot scrub.  Daisy handmade also have products for post-natal which is useful for mothers.

REVIEW ON KLAIRS MIDNIGHT BLUE CALMING CREAM

When Klairs launched their new products-Klairs Midnight blue calming cream, my first thought was if the cream is going to be blue?  It turns out that the cream is indeed blue because of guaiazulene is an antioxidant derived from chamomile oil.  It is a dark blue crystalline hydrocarbon and derivative of azulene, the blue colored constituent of chamomile oil which has anti-inflammatory properties.

KLAIRS MIDNIGHT BLUE CALMING CREAM

KLAIRS MIDNIGHT BLUE CALMING CREAM
KLAIRS MIDNIGHT BLUE CALMING CREAM

If moisturizing just wasn’t enough for your sensitive skin,
Meet the Real Blue Cream to protect your skin from irritations & stress
Klair says,
"The KLAIRS’ Rich Moist Soothing line is loved for its excellent calming & moisturizing effects by many consumers. We believe the primary reason for the popularity of the Soothing line was due to the high satisfaction most of our customers felt from the powerful moisturzing effect. However, we wanted to design the optimal product for the few customers who were still experiencing irritations from external stimuli with additional skin concerns. After a long term of researching with the R&D team, the KLAIRS’s Midnight Blue Calming Cream was created to go that extra mile."

Q1. Why is the cream blue?
Guaiazulene, which is the key ingredient of the Blue Cream, is a plant-based component extracted
from camomile oil. It has a natural violet color, which gradually turns the cream into a gentle blue color
after the blending process.

Q2. I want to know the difference between the 'Blue Cream' & the 'regular cream' !
Different functions :The Blue Cream is made for calming rather than moisturizing, to rapidly soothe the skin in response to an irritation.

Different target areas & usage amounts :Unlike a moisturizing cream, you don't have to apply the Blue Cream to the entire face.
You only need to apply a small, adequate amount to target areas.

Different usage time : The Blue Cream creates a thin, protective layer over the surface of the skin. Night time use is recommended to assist skin regeneration & to prevent makeup from breaking the protective layer.

Q4. Should I use the 'Midnight Blue Calming Cream' or the 'Rich Moist Soothing Cream'?
They're similar but kind of different, which is the best cream for me?
Go through the checklist & choose the best for you.
1) If you want a non-irritating hydration cream for everyday use,
□ Midnight Blue Calming Cream
▣ Rich Moist Soothing Cream

2) If you want fast recovery after a spot extraction or laser procedure,
▣ Midnight Blue Calming Cream
□ Rich Moist Soothing Cream

3) If you are experiencing irritation & heat flashes after sun exposure,
▣ Midnight Blue Calming Cream
□ Rich Moist Soothing Cream

4) If you have oily skin and you want a refreshing, soothing cream,
▣ Midnight Blue Calming Cream
□ Rich Moist Soothing Cream

Main Ingredients
Guaiazulene :With herbal ingredients extracted from chamomile, it shows a dark purple color and is effective in calming the inflammation of damaged skin tissue as well as regeneration of skin cells. Containing 0.03% (similar to contents in an ointment that is currently on the market, Japanese clinical trials demonstrated effects of 89.7% in sunburns, 60.6% in eczema, and 86.5% in ulcerative skin diseases, and is used as the main raw material in burn ointments.)

Centella Asiatica Extract:  As a plant native to Madagascar, it is also known as ‘tiger grass’ and is often used in cosmetics as ‘Centella Asiatica.’ Helps regeneration in damaged skin and prevents scarring; primary ingredient in ointments.

Direction:
At the last step of your skin care routine, apply a small amount to areas of sensitivity or irritation, and gently tap in to allow full absorption. Use makeup after the cream is fully absorbed into the skin.
** The blue coloration is due to the presence of Guaiazulene

Klairs box for the Klairs Midnight blue cream is the same as their other box for Klairs products.  Only the jar for this Klairs Midnight blue cream is made of heavy dark brown glass which looks kind of elegant but it will be better if the jar is blue.

The blue cream is an eye candy to my eyes XP.  It is opaque blue cream which goes on smoothly and turns translucent on the skin. I really need very little for each application on my skin.  Using a thick layer can clog my skin.  The temporary cooling effect(lasted few seconds upon application) does feel great on the skin but it is not an invitation to use more than needed.  So, it is not for treating acne.

The cream smell faintly of soda candies or bubblegums which disappears upon application.

Although the ingredients stated there are Centella, Ceramide 3 and Guaiazulene, please do look into the list of ingredients as there are many ingredients that can potentially cause break out.  The ingredients are very hydrating and moisturising so it will be more suitable and show better result for people with skin that is dry damaged types.  If you are prone to clog skin, it is better to look into the ingredients first because shea butter is quite high on the list.

The Klairs soothing cream and Klairs Midnight blue cream are different from each other in terms of ingredients and the function so it depends on your skin needs and type.

Overall, a cream that plays better for the skin is damaged, dry or after procedure like lasers and I use it at night as occlusive to the area that tends to be drier.  It does slightly reduce my redness after 2 weeks of usage but for someone that look for fast results, you may not have patient for this.

*updated: best to use it with the Klairs Activating Youth Drop for fast calming result.

TIPS:DO AND DON'T DURING YOUR MONTHLY CYCLES

Sorry,  this is a girl thing which might be some embarrassment to read for male out there.  I wrote this to share about the Asian stuff which some people out there might be curious to know.  Personally, I have terrible cramps during my monthly thing so there are some things that I do and don't do to make the pain bearable.  Else I will be on the floor and the pain is only temporary eased after I eat painkillers.  My mum is a traditional minded person and so she doesn't allow me to have painkillers.  Instead these are the few things that helps.

Traditional Chinese medicine talks about 'cold' and 'warm'.  It is not the water 'hot' or the ice 'cold' thing but a principal of every food has it 'aura'. Don't ask why the food is considered 'cold' or 'hot' because that is how it is.  The Chinese believes about the balance of Ying Yang.  So, when woman is having monthly thing, it is consider 'weak' and so should avoid some certain food.

TIPS:DO AND DON'T DURING YOUR MONTHLY CYCLES

Don't

1. Don't drink green tea
- green tea is 'cold' so it will makes the stomach area 'cold' and make the blood clot more which is really not good as it will cause you more pain.  It is good to drink green tea on other normal days but avoid this when you have your monthly thing.

2. Don't wash your hair on your first day
-the cold air can get into the pores of the head and make your body more prone to pain.  This is true if you do not want to have frequent headaches or migraines.  If you wash it on the second day, make sure to dry it as soon as possible.  Don't sleep with your hair wet.

3. Don't bath with cold water
-bath with warm water to encourage blood flow. cold warm makes the stomach area cold so if you are not in pain the first day, you will the next month.

4.  Don't eat something sour (no lemon or tamarind)
-In Malaysia, we have this Laksa which is spicy sour so this food is supposed to cause more 'bleeding' and pain.  Yeah, I accidentally drank this and almost die 'bleeding' a lot for 7days.

5. Don't eat anything 'iced' or from the fridge directly  or ice
-it is considered that anything from the fridge has a 'cold' air to it so cold stuff is not good for you.  Cooked food are different.  SO, say goodbye with your cold bubble tea or ice cream for few days

6. Don't sleep in air conditioner or on the floor
-sleeping in air conditioner means that you are putting your body along with all the 'cold' stuff and make your body even 'colder' when you are supposed to warm up your body.  it is the same as the floor because floor has 'water' that gets into the skin and hurts the body.  There is where the cramp comes.

Do
1. Drink warm ginger tea, eat dark chocolates and grapes
-ginger tea is 'warm' so it helps with the blood flow. You are not supposed to drink ginger tea if you are going for surgery.  I am not joking here. ginger is similar to ginseng.  It is not for one who is going for surgery (not matter what surgery it is).
You can drink plain water but make sure it is warm plain water and not those straight from the fridge.
Dark chocolates and grapes helps with the pain.  SO, get those food ready every month.  Fresh ginger is not as useful as the yellow powdered dry ones.  Good dry powdered warm ginger are warm the moment you drink. You can actually feel the warm fuzzy feeling going into the throat.

2. Wear socks
-the foot is the part which is 'cold' so wear socks to sleep. You can apply some 'warming' balm on your soles and your stomach.  The only warm balm that I like is the one from Thailand(Siang Pure Balm). The balm is in a 12g glass jar and aluminum cap.  If you are lazy to wear socks, then just make sure your blanket is thick enough to warm your leg.

3. Eat more warm food
-Of course with this, I don't mean heated food from the fridge. Try some sandwiches, meat, bacon or red meat.  We generally need more 'warm' food so it is meat.  Lesser vegetables since those are cold.

4. Wear clothes that covered the shoulder area and stomach
-Basically when we have the monthly thing, the body 'cold' and weak so don't exposed those 'weak' area to coldness which can disrupt the 'Qi' around the body.  Even if it is so warm and humid in Malaysia, I will wear long sleeves and thick clothes on the few days else I can become sick easily.

5. Eat nutritious food the day after your monthly cycles
-it is the best time to take some 'warm' herbal food the day after your monthly cycles to help replenish your body.  In Indonesia, they eat 'Jamu' while in here the Chinese will drink some sort of herbal soup.  It is also for young looking skin.  Most people will drink those red dates, ginseng, some herbs plus black chicken.  If you are rich, probably sea cucumber or ginseng. XP  Poor people like me will just have to make do with eggs, meat and ginger.  It isn't as fantastic as ginseng but it is still better than nothing.

I think that are the tips that I wanted to share with my dearest readers.  All the advices I talk about comes down to the same thing-keep your body warm with 'warm' food and avoid 'cold' stuff because those disrupt the blood flow and the thing that cause cramps.  Everyone has different 'Qi'. I have friends who don't fall sick or have cramps unlike me who is a sick fragile person.  Just like acne, I wish that I can just use plain water for my face or do not need to deal with all these monthly pain thing.

Do let me know if you have any question for me or any tips that you want to share here. Thank you.

HOW TO USE ACTIVES, VITAMIN C, BHA,AHA&RETINOL. DO YOU NEED WAIT TIME?

At one point of time, when you have your basic skincare routine, you will be probably interested in using actives such as AHA, BHA, retinol, retinoid or vitamin C.  Actives are special treatments to rejuvenate the skin.  While there are many AHAs (Glycolic acid, Mandelic Acid etc), BHA, retinoid and vitamins out there, it is hard to know what to do with all these shiny new things.

You might be wondering on how to use those actives since there are many opinions around.

This is a guide on using vitamin C, BHA,AHA and retinol.
Retinoid such as (tretinion, adapelene, tazorac etc) are used differently so it is not included in this guide.  If you are interested in retinoid HERE is the other post on it.

HOW TO USE ACTIVES, VITAMIN C, BHA,AHA&RETINOL. DO YOU NEED WAIT TIME?

1.  Do you need a PH adjusting toner?

Ph adjusting toner means toner that has pH lower than 5. Water above pH 7 and cleansers above PH7 are more irritating to your skin.  Then you will need pH adjusting toner to balance out the high pH of 8-9.

If you already have a low pH cleanser or already have tap water in pH 6-7 but still want to use a pH adjusting toner, make sure that you are not using too many strong actives at once. Keep only one active or you will exfoliated your skin too much because pH adjusting toner makes 'actives' penetrate your skin so well that it is likely your skin will become irritated.  For some people, the over-exfoliation will not probably be visible to your naked eyes after one day of usage but only seen over a course of time which is usually after 1 month.

2.  Do you need wait time?

The wait time is proposed for the actives to do its job of exfoliating the skin.  Some people do the 20-30 minutes of wait time. Also, there are some saying that if you do not have a low pH cleanser, you should wait for 30 minutes so that the skin could return to the normal pH of 5.5. (I couldn't read where is the journal that states that)

In my opinion, using a cleanser that is gentle to your skin is more than enough since I don't have the time to wait 30 minutes for my face or else it will  be as dry as desert.  Next thing, throwing actives on my face is just probably going to shock my skin more.  Sorry, that is not a life I am about.

Even some low pH cleanser can irritate your skin so choose your cleansers well.

So, there are two ways to use actives. So, according to your preference, situation, skin type and needs.  Do read both up first before accusing me of anything. I have tried both methods myself.

A)Wait time of (10-30minutes)&after cleanser

Cleanser>(ph lowering toner) > actives> (wait 20minutes) hydrating toner>moisturiser

This is just basic routine for me to show you the 'wait time' thing. Use this to make your actives more effective. The actives should also have the right pH and be apply right after the cleanser.

This will amplify your actives and makes it strong since application on damp skin makes everything penetrate better.

The wait time is good if you are using lower concentration actives, want to make your actives work as strong as the one in the clinics, have a skin that already reach plateau of the level of sensitivity to actives, skin that is probably resistant to all sort of lower concentration of actives and already expert in skincare to know what you are doing.  Also, people with these routine do not do all these actives everyday. (unless you have animals hide as skin)

Keep in mind that low PH toner combine with actives in high percentage, using a few actives in the same routine and doing the wait time can cause irritation.

B. No long wait time&actives is place in serum step

Cleansing> hydrating toner > actives >(dry 5 min) > moisturiser.

This is for people who are new to actives, using a high percentage of actives, have sensitive skin and probably do not have the luxury of time for waiting 30min doing nothing. It is less irritating because you buffer it down and it won’t risk your skin even if have forgotten that you had actives the day before or use actives more than it should be.

You would probably won't see results as fast as the A step since you already tone your actives down but then you won't probably end up with red, dry and angry skin.

So, that is. I would prefer you not to start with so many actives like retinoid, vitamin C, AHA and BHA all once because once you over-exfoliate your skin, you will need to stop those actives and nurse your poor skin to health which will surely take time.  Try to start with only one or two actives at a time unless you have really thick skin (I mean it literary).

Again, be discreet in using actives and there is no need to rush it. Skin changes over time and the reason that some people develop irritation after few months of using actives. Always check on your skin and be gentle to it.  No use of forced love on your skin to see fast results.

For those who are new to Asian skincare, here is a visual guide of Asian Skincare products.

Ps: I am not here to criticize anyone or tell you that you MUST do this. I am just sharing my personal opinion it. Besides, do not ask me to get whatever pieces of research to back it up because science changes and there are many contrary opinion even on one tiny question.

WHAT ARE OIL CLEANSER, ACTIVES,TONER, BOOSTER, LOTION, EMULSION, CREAM, ESSENCE, SERUM, AMPOULE, FINISHER, HYDROGEL, SKIN BALANCER, SKIN OR PEELING GEL?

This is a pictorial guide of my top post about skincare products(serum, essence, toner).  Since that post is already too crowded with information, I guess I am doing this on a separate post. After all, some pictorial guide is fun right?  You can still visit the old post because I have written for products in length compare to this one.

However, if you like colourful ones here it is =) .

WHAT ARE OIL CLEANSER, ACTIVES,TONER, BOOSTER, LOTION, EMULSION, CREAM, ESSENCE, SERUM, AMPOULE, FINISHER, HYDROGEL, SKIN BALANCER, SKIN OR PEELING GEL?

So, here is all the information on the skincare that is currently in the market.  Those in the bubbles are in the same categories. Actives is actually under special treatment since some of them comes under serum.

PS: I am sorry that I forgot to include sunscreen/sunblock inside it T_T  . Please add in Sunscreen which some called it 'sun cream'.

WHAT ARE OIL CLEANSER, ACTIVES,TONER, BOOSTER, LOTION, EMULSION, CREAM, ESSENCE, SERUM, AMPOULE, FINISHER, HYDROGEL, SKIN BALANCER, SKIN OR PEELING GEL?
toner

Okay, many people get confuse all over the weird terms when it is actually toner.  They all have the same texture which is watery.  If you are not sure if it is lotion moisturiser or lotion toner, check out the texture.

Toner with alcohol is usually clarifying so do not use it to do mask sheet!
Toner without alcohol can be use for sheet mask and it is called hydrating toner.

WHAT ARE OIL CLEANSER, ACTIVES,TONER, BOOSTER, LOTION, EMULSION, CREAM, ESSENCE, SERUM, AMPOULE, FINISHER, HYDROGEL, SKIN BALANCER, SKIN OR PEELING GEL?
essence&ampoule

Essence, ampoule &serum are in the same special treatment categories but each of them has different texture and concentration.  They target special issues.

Ampoules usually come in vial&used in bridal makeup since they provide the fastest result.

Order of concentration
Most concentrate-ampoule
2nd best concentration- serum
3rd best concentration-essence

There are essence which is like water-people called it treatment essence which has fermented products.
other essence are cream or oil based.

WHAT ARE OIL CLEANSER, ACTIVES,TONER, BOOSTER, LOTION, EMULSION, CREAM, ESSENCE, SERUM, AMPOULE, FINISHER, HYDROGEL, SKIN BALANCER, SKIN OR PEELING GEL?
serum

Serum also has cream, water or even oil based.

There are some ampoules, serum and essence that are different from what you see here because the brands use different name for 'marketing strategies'. People will be more inclined to buy something when it is written ampoule than when it is essence.  Of course people will think that it is a great deal to spend little to get 'ampoule' but what you get is actually 'essence'.

WHAT ARE OIL CLEANSER, ACTIVES,TONER, BOOSTER, LOTION, EMULSION, CREAM, ESSENCE, SERUM, AMPOULE, FINISHER, HYDROGEL, SKIN BALANCER, SKIN OR PEELING GEL?
Moisturiser
There are many moisturisers out there and I am glad that I no longer have to suffer only on those thick cream mess.

Gel moisturiser usually contains silicone.
Emulsion is a light moisturiser and usually comes in a bottle. It is suitable for oily skin type.
Lotion is similar to emulsion.
Cream is usually for dry skin type and usually comes in a jar.
Snail cream is actually gel cream so it doesn't really comes under cream categories.

So does it make things easier to understand? So look into the categories before hauling everything and realise that it is actually under the same categories.  I hope that this is helpful. =)
