Peoplepie Herb Warm Pack comes in a box with three pieces inside.  It is the most sold items in Olive Young it seems. I understand since I need a special warm pack like these too and it is a never ending problem for cramps.

The pack is made from good cotton that is comfortable to place on the stomach.  Inside is the herbs which is made from rose, lavender, clary sage, fennel and ylang ylang.  The packet stick is not that strong so make sure to wear something that hold the packet.

It said that it is 53 celcius heating which can burn on the skin. Honestly, I just place it on my stomach and did not burn myself.  I think it is because my stomach temperature drop so much that it is basically ice cold. That also explain why my cramp is bad because the blood flow is not that well.  It lasted on me for about 4 hours. I think it will last longer if your stomach is not as cold as mine.  I do like the herbal scent that calm my sense and lessen the pain.

Peoplepie Herb Warm Pack does warm up my stomach area and lessen the pain. Price is really affordable too.  It is also easy to use since you just tear the plastic to get that cotton warm pack and stick on your underwear.  I mean who has that energy to go and boil hot warm water to do the heat pack on the stomach?  This is much easier especially for those on the go.

Overall, Peoplepie Herb Warm Pack helps with cramp by warming up the stomach area and since it is made from herbs, it is also great for people who prefer natural products.  I am happy that warm pack like this exist now to make my life easier.  Peoplepie also has those waist warm pack for waist area.

I am sure you know that I am all about acne prone skincare products since I acne prone skin. Do you understand my pain of some people giving you unsolicited advise when they never have acne before? Oh, if only we could outgrown that acne phase just by using ONLY water. If only skincare is that easy 😶😔.

iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum comes in a glass dropper style 50ml bottle. For the price of USD15.49, I think it is really affordable for the ingredients in it. The green colour comes from the ingredients and it has not synthetic colouring or fragrance in it.


What I like and find interesting is the simple ingredients consisting of Tea Tree Leaf Water 67%, Centella Asiatica Leaf Water 19.5% and the other 13.5 % are extract from plants and preservative.

There are butylene Gylcol, niacinamide, Broccoli extract, alfalfa extract, cabbage extract, wheat germ extract, rapeseed, radish seed, allantoin, beta glucan, adenosine, Ethylhexylglycerin and sodium copper chlorophyllin.

Sodium copper chlorophyllin is to reduce odor since not every plant smells like sugar and flowers  since this product does not contain any added synthetic fragrance.  It is a safe ingredients that had been using for a long time.

I like the short and simple ingredients. Still do check the ingredients list since there can be some people who are allergic to ingredients in it.

iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum is for calming the skin and to treat the acne at the same time. It does not dry my skin at all even when I only apply this serum as the last step since my place is at 35 Celcius (93 F) and humidity that is at least 92%.

Tea tree water is not the same as tea tree oil as it could be a steam distilled fraction from the leaves or is the left over after the tea tree oil is distilled from the plant.  It contains part of the tea tree plant that are soluble in water and usually has a similar smell to the essential oil.  So technicality no tea tree oil, but comes from the tea tree plant.  In other words, tea water is much gentler that tea tree oil because tea tree oil usually will cause burn if it goes undiluted on the skin.

Terpinen-4-ol is a terpene that has an antibacterial and antifungal effect which is an active ingredient of tea tree oil.  The water-soluble fraction identified as terpinen-4-ol, α-terpineol, and 1,8-cineol.  Terpinen-4-ol was able to diminish the production of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-8, IL-10, and prostaglandin E2 by lipopolysaccharide-activated monocytes.

It means that it is a potential antioxidant.  Tree Leaf Water 67% with Centella Asiatica Leaf Water 19.5% and other ingredients to soothe the skin irritation, whack the pimples into submission and then corn it with healing wound ingredients such as vitamin E, adenosine (for proper healing with no scars), anti-irritating and stimulate growth of healthy tissue.

Beta glucan, Broccoli, alfalfa, cabbage contains great antioxidants like vitamin A, C, and E work to support health function of immune cells and boost immune system.  Our skin do absorb some product of what we put on our skin so serum does help the skin to heal faster.

iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum is a great nice gentle serum. The serum is unscented and it is a very watery liquid. It absorb almost immediately upon application on my skin. It is not drying at all given that I use it twice a day. My pimples actually get really tiny the next day and disappeared the day after. As for underground pimples, the one you can feel painful but there is no head to press, it does flatten them out and some immediately come up to a head the next day. I think it must be the high percentage of all the great ingredients put into this bottle of serum.

I actually stop using all my other acne products to try it for two days and the effect is still wonderfully fast and gentle. Given that the bottle is 50ml, I think it is a great deal and I myself would recommend it for someone who could not deal with strong BHA, AHA or just wanted something that they can use daily, show fast result but being gentle at the same time.

Overall, iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum is a great acne prone serum for all skin types. The simple short ingredients make it great for even sensitive skin like mine. Currently, it is one of my staple product for acne.

Today is Skin and Lab Dr.Spot Clear Don't Touch Trouble made by Korean dermatologist laboratory.

This an acne spot treatment that I had drag the review to this day because I bought it and don't really have all the time to review everything.  I had already finished this tube before writing this review to confirm my opinion on it.  Besides, I must have caught some laziness symptom that I am unable to write much these few months.

Skin and Lab Dr.Spot Clear Don't Touch Trouble comes in a tube which is easy to dispense the product.  The light yellowish gel smell of fresh leaves.  The gel absorb easily into my skin easily.  It does dry my skin.

The ingredients are of all natural extract that calm the skin and suitable for someone looking for plant based acne spot treatment.  The ingredients are plant based such as Sophora Extract, Portulaca Extract, Dryopteris Crassirhizoma Nakai Extract, Plantain Extract, Akane Extract which is my opinion are just too gentle and more suitable for very mild acne and dry skin type.  It doesn't have any 'actives' or strong ingredients that can exfoliate the skin.

For me, it only work for whiteheads, calm redness and get rid of the red acne marks.  However, it is not effective for moderate acne, cystic acne, blackheads or fungal acne.  Those other type of acne needs something much more stronger than this gentle calming spot treatment.  The great thing about this Skin and Lab Dr.Spot Clear Don't Touch Trouble is that you can apply a lot of it on your skin without worrying that your face will turn red or burn your skin out of it.

If you have more than just whiteheads, I think you would probably need other stronger acne treatment products than just relying on this Skin and Lab Dr.Spot Clear Don't Touch Trouble. You can use it alone but I think you won't see much result compare to combining with an exfoliating toner or serum.

Overall, Skin and Lab Dr.Spot Clear Don't Touch Trouble is suitable for someone with very mild acne, loving plant ingredients, dry skin, redness and cannot use any stronger actives.

It does remove deodorant without me rubbing hard or tugging on my skin.  The shower gel has nice citrus natural fragrant which I really love and enjoy each time I am in the shower.

SHIKAI Shower Gel Yuzu is mild, soap free and has a low PH of 5-6 which is really gentle to my skin. I have been reaching for this shower gel most of the time to release stress and when I need to smell uplifting scent.  You can use it as shaving gel too since it is not drying.

I find the price really affordable since one uses only a bit of the shower gel for my whole body.

Overall, SHIKAI Shower Gel Yuzu is a great body shampoo for every skin type.  If you have family that shares just one body shampoo but have different skin type, then this body shampoo is recommended to have. It sure makes bathing a great experience each time.

REVIEW ON COSRX CLEAR FIT MASTER PATCH VS COSRX ACNE PIMPLE MASTER PATCH

Cosrx is a popular Korean brand for people dealing with acne and skin texture. Many swear by the effectiveness of Cosrx products.  Cosrx acne pimple master patch is one of the popular items to draw out the exudate, keep the area moist and clean.

Cosrx recently came out with Cosrx clear fit master patch which is the newer version of their most famous Cosrx acne pimple master patch. I got them from a lucky draw 😄 (so happy) .

a)The size of the pimple patches:
Cosrx clear fit master patch 18 patches (10mm X 18ea) . the medium size of the Cosrx acne pimple patch.

In terms of the pimple patches, there is only one size for the clear fit while the acne pimple has three size. So, it is kind of wasteful for someone that like to pick small size for their zits.

b)The look and build:

Clear fit-almost invisible and slightly raised in the middle of the patch. The white paper which the pimple patch is on is cut in half so that you can peel the paper, to reveal half of the pimple patches in which you can take with your finger. no scent.

Acne pimple- yellowish visible flat patch. the paper in which the patches are on is not cut so you have to peel the acne pimple using a tweezer. no scent.

Clear fit is invisible so you can wear it during the day.  The Acne pimple is still visible on my korean 22 skin colour actually but it will look invisible for those with darker tone. Also it is hard to cover with makeup too compare to the clear fit.

Clear fit doesn't come off the skin when the patch is full since the exudate fluid is contained in the middle. Acne pimple with the flat surface comes off easier when it is full with the exudate fluid. So, one will always need to check if it is full.

c) Function
Clear fit- suck up exudate (exudate is fluid from wound)
Acne pimple- suck up exudate

In term of ingredients, both has the same ingredients in the same sequence. No ingredients for treating acne. Pimple patches are not for preventing acne or rid of acne.  It doesn't work to clear up your skin if use alone.  Use it more as something to prevent infection.

Both of the clear fit and acne pimple function the same to me. It only works on whiteheads and not for cystic acne or those pesky underground acne.  The main function is to suck up the exudate fluid from the whiteheads.  So, when the water got sucked up by those patches, your pimple sure does look flat.  It is good to have for whiteheads to quicken the healing time and to prevent inflammation. Applying pimple patches on top my acne does prevent me from the feeling of picking the hell out of those pimples that keep showing its redness to me.



Overall, Cosrx clear fit master patch and Cosrx acne pimple master patch are both nice acne patches to prevent further inflammation of the acne or whiteheads. I prefer invisible clear fit since I can wear it to work and also under makeup without people asking what I am using.  It is just that one size makes it hard. It is waste to use the middle size for smaller pimples or there won't be size for big pimples that pass the size of the medium 10mm patches.

What are popular in Korea is not known outside Korea because of lack of marketing. One of such brand is Swanicoco. If you check out the Naver, then you will notice that Swanicoco is a wonderful Korean brand that received a lot of good reviews from Korean beauty enthusiasts.

What I have today is the Swanicoco A.C control tea tree essence.  This is an essence for sensitive, acne prone skin and suitable for even dry skin type that could not use stronger stuff such as tretinoin or 1% BHA or 10% glycolic acid.

Swanicoco A.C Control tea tree essence comes in beautiful green and white design.  The box is also very well made with a sturdy paper box inside to avoid the plastic transparent bottle from too much movement.  I like that it comes in a dropper form too. I think it is great that Swanicoco even put a lot of thought into the packaging up to the aesthetic value and functional value of their product

The bottle is made from a beautiful glass bottle with a dropper which is great to control the amount of product.

Swanicoco A.C Control tea tree essence comes in a transparent liquid and there isn't any smell to it even when I bring it so close to my nose. The liquid spread into my skin really easily and absorb into my skin really well. I do love the texture as it doesn't burn and I can use it with my other spot treatment without any problem.  I can use it at night as well during the day.

Swanicoco A.C Control tea tree essence has short ingredients list and I think there ingredients in there are really great for calming acne prone skin and hydrating it at the same time without being too much.

As for the ingredients list, there are many beneficial ingredients for acne prone skin.  Looking for the ingredient list, it has great ingredients.

Zinc sulfate is great for acne prone skin which is always deficient in zinc. Besides, zinc can help the skin to heal.  Plants ingredients such as Centella asiatica help to calm the skin. Sea buck thorn contains palmitoleic acid which nourish and heal wounds on acne prone skin. Peony is a traditional herbs used to calm the skin  heat, removes toxin and provide antioxidant on the skin. Allantoin is an effective skin soothing since it is anti-inflammatory while also is an emollient.  Trehalose is a type of sugar found in plants, fungi and invertebrate animals and is used as moisturizer.

I have been using Swanicoco A.C Control tea tree essence along with Swanicoco A.C Control emulsion and also the A.C Control skin toner. I really do like it because it is really gentle, does not irritate, help to keep my skin clear, reduce redness on my skin, doesn't clogged my skin and reduce the oil production on my skin while keeping my other area hydrated. My skin type surely has changed to be less oilier on my T-zone.  I don't even need to blot my skin anymore.  Although it contains tea tree oil, it had never even once burnt my skin no matter how much or how many times I apply it on my skin which is really amazing.

Swanicoco A.C Control tea tree essence would be a great start for someone dealing with light to medium acne prone skin and is not ready for all the strong prescription products that can scar the skin without the usage knowledge.  Swanicoco A.C Control tea tree essence is of pH 5.5.  Healthy skin pH is around 5.5 so having a product of that pH is great to keep the skin slightly acidic and acne controlled.

Overall, Swanicoco A.C Control tea tree essence is another gentle mild option as skin spot treatment for mild to moderate acne prone skin.  One can use it every day and extra application doesn't cause the skin to peel or irritated.  However, if you have serious acne, this might be too mild.
