Shot glass candles by Candlenutsbynadia .  I think mine is a strawberry scented since it smells so much like sweet strawberries =).  Love the pink strawberry look too.  So far, I love every scented products that I have received from them.  Their candles are environmentally friendly and very affordable.  Candlenutsbynadia is the first hand poured candle in Malaysia that use palm wax.  The paraffin is not good for health and environment.  Their candle 120g of 40-45 hrs burn for RM25.90.

The shop is formed in December 2010 with more than 50 types of teas and operates from Bangsar Shopping Centre. Their online store was launched in 2013 and has a wide selection of tea that you can choose based on your mood, either for relaxation, staying focused, being healthy, or trying something exotic. I am not sure what I got but I have to drink it first to know XD .

FOOD REVIEW ON SAM SIEW YEH CHEE CHEONG FAN TELUK INTAN, PERAK, MALAYSIA

Hi foodiesm,

Today let's go to visit a place that only opens at night. Welcome to the dark world of food.
This place actually means Three Uncles... Okay, so must think that now what kind of dark place I am introducing you.

Here is the Sam Siew Yeh Chee Cheong Fan where they serve Chee Cheong Fan which also means pig's intestine.  mmm... so good... Not pig intestine actually but that is the direct translation of the food. Xd I am hope you haven't faint yet.

So, here is the shop.hahaha. This is place for vampires..no, I am joking.

I am sorry because people are staring at me for taking 20 times shot and still cannot get it right.

Here is inside the shop.  It doesn't look as scary as it is from the outside. XD

Chee Cheong Fan
Here the famous Chee Cheong Fan.  It is also one of the must eat food if you are in Teluk Intan.  The locals usually comes here because it taste better than the other one(Wee Kei) in Jalan Bedamar.  It is called pig intestine but it is not made from that.  It is made from flour and pork. You eat it with pickled green chillies.

Gingko Biloba with barley Sam Siew Yeh Chee Cheong Fan
Gingko Biloba with barley
Gingko Biloba with barley.   Those flakes that you see is those shredded tofu skin. It is traditional warm dessert. It is slightly sweet and is one of my favourite Cantonese dessert (tong sui).  Women usually loves this as gingko biloba helps with anti ageing XD.  There is taste of ginger inside it to balance out the 'cold' energy just in case there are some people that can't eat this.

Bubur Cha Cha Sam Siew Yeh Chee Cheong Fan
Bubur Cha Cha

This is called Bubur Cha Cha.  No idea why it is called Cha Cha but bubur actually means porridge. It doesn't contain rice though.  It is white because that is coconut milk.  It has sweet potato and sago.  Sago is basically tasteless but it look small transparent so it is not visible on the photos.  It is a dish from Indonesia I think.

Overall, Sam Siew Yeh Chee Cheong Fan is a place for Chinese eatery if you are interested in Chee Cheong Fan and Cantonese Desserts.  I wanted to take photos of the price but then the kids are blocking the huge menu on the walls so sorry for that.  If you can't read the words, there are pictures.  It is a great place to hang out just for the Chinese Dessert XD.

Chee Cheong Fan RM4.50
Bubur Cha Cha RM2.50
Gingko Biloba with barley RM2.50

FOOD REVIEW KEDAI KOPI AH WAH TELUK INTAN

Hi,
Bringing you to where early birds go for breakfast in Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia.  This is where locals go for breakfast in the morning because of the tasty Chinese style Mee Rebus.  It is situated near the St.Anthony primary school(its in the first picture XD) and Convent primary school so it is kind of hidden.  Here is where you get good Hailam coffee.  Hailam clan(one of the Chinese clans) are known to make really good traditional Chinese coffee.
The coffee is different from the western Americano or Latte because of the secret blends.  So, let's go and visit here.

Here is the Kedai Kopi Ah Wah, Teluk Intan. It is situated at Jalan Sungai Nibong.

Mee Rebus
This is their Chinese style Mee Rebus. What is good about their Mee Rebus is their Prawn crackers are super crispy and tasty.  As for the portion it is small but some people probably need to order the big portion plates to be truly satisfied eating. There eggs, potato, bean sprouts and orange sauce.  It is spicy, sourish and sweet at the same time.

Overall, service is fast and the place is clean.  Food is also great.  Just that one might need to wait if there are too many people since most comes with family.

Price:
Mee Rebus RM4.00
Coffee RM1.50

Hi foodies,
Here is a popular halal eatery called Nasi Kandar Changkat Jong Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia which is one of the popular place to go eat.  It is near an open space so you can just park any place that you and then choose the rice and choose your own dishes.

My friend took chicken with some dahl sauce and chicken eggs.  The sauce are free so pick whichever sauce that you like. Just becareful some sauce are super spicy.  The chicken are prepared before with some spices which makes the distinctive taste. The chicken used to tasted even better in the past XD.

Nasi Kandar Changkat Jong
Nasi Kandar Changkat Jong
This is asam boi drink.  It is especially nice on hot humid day in Malaysia. They don't special make drink for you so choose from the ready made drinks at the counter XD.

This is a nice family place to eat if you do not mind a lot of people but everything is self service so some people may not like. The price are reasonable so it is a good place to have your lunch.  I would say that is this is once of the popular Nasi kandar (something like a mix rice) place to have meals.  Seller in the past used to carry the meals all on bamboo poles and that is how the name came. However, no romantic environment as there is no scenery to see and decoration are just very direct to the point which is to have lunch.

So, if you like a place to eat, good Halal food and simple South East Asian food, come here =) .

It depends on what you take. RM5-10 (rice+chicken).

I don't know the name of this traditional cake in English.  Let's just called it dumpling. This dumpling is delicious for the skin is really thin and made from rice flour with shrimp inside.

Pulut Bakar, Bar Bee Nyonya Kuih
This is the aunthetic Pulut Bakar (grilled glutinous rice) . Rest assure about the colouring as they use colouring from a blue flower plant.  The beautiful blue colour comes from that flower and it is in fact good for eyes.  Inside the Pulut Bakar contains dried fine shrimp which is really nice.  It is wrap with banana leaves. Mmm, so delicious.

This  is Abdullah Mastan Ghany Mee Rebus speciality.  Remember to try this because it is good. The yellow noodles comes with boiled eggs, prawn cracker, boiled cube size potato, a little toufu and beans sprout(I asked to not include it since i hate been bean sprouts).  The sauce is yes orange colour. It is sweet, sour and spicy so if you hate spicy food then I guess you will probably not able to enjoy this goodness.

However, it was way tastier during their grandfather(the first generation) . During that time it was wrap securely using banana leaves with newspaper and the crackers was so so so gooooooood.
