If you know what is Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil, then welcome to the dark side of Asian Beauty skincare routine =).
I think there are many oil cleanser out there with different base which is not restricted to just mineral oil alone. Not everyone can use mineral oil based oil cleanser since it can cause break out so some look for other alternative.
One of the those oil cleanser that does not contain mineral oil is Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil. Klairs is a Korean brand that has become really popular with their Klairs Supple Preparation Toner which is also one of my favourite toner. I have tried almost everything from Klairs and products that I like are their toner and their Klairs Midnight Blue calming cream .

It is not just a cleansing oil, but the combination of natural black grains. Ingredients extracted from the nature will gently take care of your skin.
1) Black Bean Oil-Black bean helps to control the sebum production, increases the skin elasticity and provides a soothing effect
2) Black Sesame Oil- Black sesame prevents dehydration and skin aging while providing powerful antioxidant effects through various useful components such as Beta-carotene, Rinolenic acid, Sesamin, Sesaminol and Tocopherol.
3) Black Currant Seed Oil-Black Current Seed Oil strengthens the skins protective layer to prevent the evaporation of moisture from the skin. It promotes skin cell regeneration and provides antioxidant effects by containing various minerals.
How to use
1) Take an adequate amount of Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil onto the palms of dry hands.
Gently massage over dry face in order of forehead, nose and cheeks.
2) After massaging, do not wipe off with tissue but rinse off with lukewarm water for 2~3 times.

Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil came out as a liquid that smells really pleasant to me. It smells like some greenish forest kind of scent with hint of sweet berries but since scent is different to individual, I am not sure about how would others like it. I like it.
The liquid is watery and turns into milk white once I use water to emulsify it. It does remove the makeup well without irritating my skin. However, I would say that you do need to use a second cleanser to remove the film left on the skin after cleansing. It is oil cleanser that is made for dry skin type so I need to follow up with a second cleanser or else there I will feel a film on my skin.
I do like the ingredients in Klairs Black Deep Cleansing oil since it doesn't contain mineral oil which cause some form of allergic or clogged pores from it. It contains moisturising ingredients such as Jojoba Seed Oil, Soybean Oil which is one of my favourite ingredients for skincare, Sesame Seed Oil , Black Currant Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Shea Butter , Carapa Guaianensis Seed Oil, Cranberry Seed Oil. Carapa Guaianensis is a plant ingredient for Amazonian tribes to relieve muscular aches, reduce swelling and soothing for dry skin type.
Overall, Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil is a great first cleanser for dry skin and if you do have a second cleanser. It will be most suitable for dry skin or during winter.
