Hi wanderlusts,
When you are travelling to another place, it is also about the food. Since I wrote about the things to see in Teluk Intan, here is the food in Teluk Intan. There are some Halal food that you can find in Teluk Intan but please do not visit them during Hari Raya or during Chinese New Year, there is nothing that you can get to eat if you visit Teluk Intan during that two big festivals in Malaysia.
Here are some places that locals eat and places to eat in Teluk Intan. I will have individual post for some of the places to eat since I went to more than 3 places to eat and it is too long to put in this one post.

Sin Joo Heong Confectionery, Teluk Intan |

Sin Joo Heong Confectionery, Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia. One of the places to buy those Heong Piah- a type of traditional biscuits. This shop is honestly more expensive and they charged the GST 6% so I got a packet for RM20.
