REVIEW ON NIGHTINGALE TEATAMIN SLEEPING MASK

Hi beautiful,

Today is a review on a sleeping mask which is better than the famous Laneige for acne prone skin type.  It basically has all the ingredients to treat acne in this jar of sleeping mask.

So here is the review on Nightingale Teatamin Sleeping Mask which I have been using for more than 2months.  A great sleeping mask that is safe for even fungal acne.

Nightingale Teatamin Sleeping Mask comes without box which is good. It is a transparent green colour plastic jar without a spatula.  Nightingale change the symbol which has the 'nurse' eyes open now than it was few years ago.

I do like the ingredients since it start with a very watery base with all the other extract ingredients for acne such as extracts of cornflower, borage, tea tree, Turmeric, lavender, matricaria, clary, hyacinth , aloe vera, Chrysanthemum, Pot marigold flower , Cucumber, Myristic resin extract, Thalassemia, Allantoin, Lemon oil, Tea tree leaf oil, Indian mulberry, eggplant fruit extract and holly basil leaf.

It is also interesting that in this sleeping mask there are actives ingredients Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid and Retinyl Palmitate.  These are ingredients for treating acne.  Retinyl Palmitate is ester of retinol and palmitic acid which can be effective in boosting collagen fiber production in your skin.  It doesn't exfoliating effects as retinol so skin won't actually go crazy from it.

The sleeping mask is in form of transparent greenish lightweight gel.  Application is easy since the gel absorbs really fast into my skin and does control the oil on my skin making it matte the next day.  It is soft and comfortable on my skin.  It has lemony tea tree scent which I like.  The scent disappears after 10min on my face.  I don't see colouring so the colouring probably comes from all the ingredients.

The formulation doesn't irritate my skin although it contains retinol and glycolic acid.  It does calm my skin from acne and reduce the severity of my acne even when I was just using this sleeping mask without my other skincare products.  I find that it works on my underground acne bringing them up faster.  My skin always just looks better the next day when I use this sleeping mask.

I find that this sleeping mask works better than the famous Laneige sleeping mask or the Neutrogena hydro boost sleeping mask.

Overall, Nightingale Teatamin Sleeping Mask is a lightweight sleeping mask for acne prone combination skin and for those looking for gentle sleeping mask that contains actives.

REVIEW ON NIGHTINGALE TONING PEELING PADS TEA TREE

Hi beautiful,

Pads products are really popular nowadays.  Besides, being easy to use, it is convenient for travelling and also comes in many sort of ingredients for many skin types.  It is easier to carry a packet of pads than a whole bottle of toner.

I have been liking this pads from a small Korean company called Nightingale which is the Nightingale Toning Peeling Pads Tea Tree for acne prone skinJust to put out there I bought the products myself because of the price actually and am actually liking this more than the Cosrx pimple acne pads.

Nightingale laboratory resolve your inconvenience of visiting a clinic for every single concern from minor to serious one.  Nightingale as the brand emblem represents warmth of skin angel.  Cross shape symbol and logo create reliability as a skin professional, and promote the value of cosmeceutical brand.

Promise of Nightingale
Safe ingredient : minimizes skin irritation with safe and reliable formula

Nightingale Toning Peeling Pads Tea Tree

Nightingale Toning Peeling Pads Tea Tree comes in a foil packet of 10 pads.  It is actually quite expensive for a packet of 10 pads but it is easy for travelling.

Inside there are round cotton pads with slight eclipse.  One of the side is embossed and one of the side is smooth. The embossed side is for exfoliating the skin.

As for the ingredients, it does have alcohol and tea tree (10,000ppm) that can be drying for dry skin type.  Alcohol is actually not as bad as how people exaggerate it .  It doesn't kill your cells and make you have skin cancer.

The pads also contain ingredients such as centella asiatica, aloe vera, Houttuynia Cordata and clary.  I personally don't find anything irritating my skin when using this pads.

The pads are soft and has enough toner for me to swipe or use it as sheet mask on my face.  It gently exfoliate my skin and balance out the oil water content of skin.  I find it lessen the severity of my acne overnight and reduce the redness on my face.  However, for someone who use stronger actives such as tretinoin, BHA or over 20% vitamin C, this toner pads might be too gentle and probably won't see much result other than smoother skin.  Also if you have fungal acne, you need to add in another products to get rid of those fungal problem.

I really like since my skin is pretty weak and just can't handle too much other actives (I use a vitamin C 20%).  The pads has scent of jasmine which doesn't stay on skin after I applied other things on top.

I also use it with the Nightingale Teatamin Sleeping mask 😃 .

Overall, Nightingale Toning Peeling Pads Tea Tree is a gentle exfoliating toner in pads for acne prone combination skin.

REVIEW ON INNISFREE GREEN TEA MINT FRESH SHAMPOO

Hi beautiful,

Today is the review on the Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo .  By now, I don't think I have to mention the brand Innisfree since it is a very famous popular Korean brand.  Innisfree is very popular with their volcanic mask and also their green tea line.

I am being honest since I got this shampoo because of the low price (I am cheap) 😂 and also curious about the shampoo from this brand as usual without actually looking at the ingredients.  I am not too good with shampoo ingredients since my hair doesn't have that much problem besides being oily.  I also gave a bottle to my family for them to use.  I am totally not sponsored or given this shampoo for free.

Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo
Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo

Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo
Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo

Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo
Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo

Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo is a sebum-control hair wash that is formulated with a combination of Jeju green tea and mint extracts, and lathers up richly to remove dirt off your scalp and hair. It is also silicone-free, so you don’t have to worry about your hair being dried out. Instead, it provides your scalp and hair with the hydration it needs. Of course, its minty formulation gives off a tingly sensation that both feels refreshing and smells amazing after!

Usage:
Put an appropriate amount of shampoo foam into your hands and massage it into your scalp to create a rich lather. Rinse well to thoroughly remove product residue.

Ingredients:
WATER, SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, GLYCERIN, COCAMIDE MEA, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, LAURETH 23, SODIUM CHLORIDE, DIPROPYLENE GLYCOL, POTASSIUM COCOYL GLYCINATE, POLYQUATERNIUM 10, POLYQUATERNIUM 7, GLYCOL DISTEARATE, MENTHOL, CITRUS LIMON LEMON PEEL OIL, ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS ROSEMARY LEAF OIL, MENTHA PIPERITA PEPPERMINT OIL, HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SUNFLOWER SEED OIL, MENTHA VIRIDIS SPEARMINT LEAF OIL, PANTHENOL, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, MENTHA ARVENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, CITRIC ACID, DISODIUM EDTA, SODIUM BENZOATE, POTASSIUM SORBATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN

Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo comes without a box which is good.  It does have a sticker on the cap.  No plastic wrap around the bottle.  The bottle is mint with semi transparency since I could see the amount of products left inside the bottle.  The cap is those push out button which is okay.

The ingredients is just okay but it is not a sulphate free shampoo.  It doesn't have silicone which some people don't mind having silicone in their hair products.  It has the scent of mint and shampoo is in form of yellowish transparent gel.  I left it a bit on my scalp and it does have the slight minty cooling of feeling on my hair.  The feeling doesn't stay after one wash it off.

Washing it off is easy and it does clean my scalp but it doesn't work much on fungal or dandruff.  The shampoo makes my hair feels dry and tangle up.  So make sure to use a conditioner afterwards or the hair will turn into Sahara desert.  You can try using it only on scalp and avoid the shampoo on the hair.  I find it using it as a weekly shampoo is better than being a everyday shampoo.  My friend doesn't really like it as it causes the hair to itch since she has dandruff and dry scalp.

Overall, Innisfree Green Tea Mint Fresh Shampoo is for very oil scalp with oily hair too with no dandruff problem. Make sure to use a conditioner too.

Pyunkang Yul Acne Cream comes in white with baby blue writing.  It also comes in a convenient white tube with screw lid.  I like the packaging since it is easy and hygienic than a jar.

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Methylpropanediol, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, PVM/MA Copolymer, Niacinamide, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Dimethyl Sulfone, Pyridoxine HCl, Forsythia Suspensa Fruit Extract, Butylene Glycol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Uralensis (Licorice) Root Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Carbomer, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Tromethamine, Copper Tripeptide-1, Hydroxyacetophenone, Myrtus Communis Extract, Tropaeolum majus Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA

The ingredients is okay if you are not allergic to any of them.

Acne-Fighting : Licorice Root Extract Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, centella asiatica,
                           Pyridoxine HCl,
Brightening: Licorice Root Extract, Niacinamide.
Anti-Aging: Niacinamide, Rosemary, Copper Tripeptide-1, Copper Tripeptide-1
Calming: Centella Asiatica Extract,  Scutellaria Baicalensis

Although it is a cream, the texture is actually lightweight transparent gel moisturiser that absorbs fast into the skin without sticky feeling.  It is enough to moisturise my skin since I live in warm humid country but it might not be enough during winter.  It doesn't have any scent to it actually.  There isn't any added fragrance.

For the first week, I like it because it does moisturise my skin without being heavy or causing more breakouts.  It calmed my skin and reduce acne.  Then,  I have a bad breakout the 2nd week I was using it. If you have fungal acne, best to avoid it because it can cause the area with fungal acne to break out and worsen the condition.

Overall, Pyunkang Yul Acne Cream is a nice gel moisturiser for oily and combination acne prone skin that doesn't have allergic with the ingredients but it is not a moisturiser if you have fungal acne though.

1. A gentle yet effective cleanser that calms your skin
2. A dense yet gummy foam that is highly elastic to adhere to waste products that have accumulated on your skin to effectively eliminate them
3. Leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated even after cleansing
4. Forms an abundance of foam for a greater cleansing effect

Suggested Use
1. Squeeze out an appropriate amount onto your hands and work onto your skin
2. Incorporate a little water and massage to produce an abundance of foam
3. Rinse with warm water

Ingredient list:
Saposhnikovia Divaricata Root Extract, Glycerin, Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Beeswax, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Glycol Distearate, Lauramide DEA, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Sodium Polyacrylate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Fragrance

Pyungkang Yul Cleansing Foam comes in a white box with mix of English and Korean written on it.  The one I have is the new renewal packaging so I have no idea if there are changes to the ingredients.  The renewal packaging also has the white tube as the new packaging.

I do like the first ingredient which is the Saposhnikovia Divaricata Root Extract that is antimicrobial which is a nice ingredient to clean the skin.  It is not vegan since it contains beewax.  As for other ingredients, it is okay since cleanser doesn't stay on your skin for more than 3minutes.

The product is very liquid so becareful else once might accidentally pour out too much.  A little makes a lot of dense foam and it cleanses very well including my sweatproof eyeliner.  It has pH of 6-7 though.

Pyungkang Yul Cleansing Foam has scent of the powdery baby products which doesn't linger once wash off.  It doesn't irritate my skin or cause more acne.  It also doesn't do anything to control my acne prone skin.  I think this make it nice as a family cleanser for people who likes sharing one cleanser and does need any special needs.

Overall, Pyungkang Yul Cleansing Foam is a simple foam cleanser for normal skin and likes foam type of cleanser.

REALISTIC KOREAN SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN

Hi beautiful,

Finally, here is my realistic Korean skincare routine for acne prone skin.  It has been 6 years since I started blogging and I am still no where famous 😂 so I am still working two jobs to make ends meet.  It is impossible for that 10 Korean skincare steps with 20 products because most of the time I just want to go to bed right after I get home.

What wait time?  Don't have that 3 hours luxury for my skincare routine.  I started my blog 6 years ago to practice my English and to share affordable skincare products for acne prone skin.  I hope this guide is useful for those that are dealing with acne prone combination skin type and for fungal acne.

Still here is my skincare routine for acne prone combination skin type.

realistic Korean skincare routine for acne prone skin

I have acne prone skin since more than 18 years ago.  My skin is nowhere perfect but I find it easier to live with just or two small pimples than a whole face full of breakouts.

If you plan to get what I use, make sure to never throw everything onto your face all at once. You can easily mess up your skin.  Also check out the ingredients first before buying.

Here is the video 😀
