Pyunkang Yul 3 Step Mask Pack
Usage guide:
1. Spread Peeling Gel over wet skin and massage in a circular motion to remove dead skin cells and other impurities. Rinse well.
2. Apply Essence Toner Sheet Mask, adjusting around eyes and mouth. Enjoy 10-20 minutes of sheet masking.
3. Spread Balancing Gel, and then gently tap and press until gel is fully.

The package is simple, minimalistic and it is easy to carry it during travelling.
The
peeling gel contains gentle BHA ( Betaine Salicylate) to physically gently exfoliate the skin before sheet mask. Peeling gel is a type of physical exfoliation so don't rub too long on the skin since friction can cause irritation. The peeling gel gets spread easily on my wet skin. It has a scent of slight sweet plastic scent to me. It does make my skin soft and smooth after washing it off.
The 2nd step which is the
Essence Toner Mask contains Pyunkang Essence toner which is their best selling product. The sheet mask use the same fabric as the Pyunkang Yul cotton pad which is to be more effective in delivering products to skin. The essence contains 91.3% Astragalus Membranaceus Root Extract which is popular in traditional medicine to boost the body's immune system. The plant contains antioxidant, anti inflammatory and nutrient boosting properties. The sheet mask cotton is thin and soft. Be gentle as the cotton materials isn't stretchable and I accidentally tore a part of the sheet mask 😓. There are a lot of essence inside the sheet mask. Essence has slight viscosity to it and absorbs really fast into the skin. There isn't really any strong scent to the mask. There slight herbal scent or those smell of tree barks if that makes sense. Sheet masks does adhere to my skin and I do feel slight comfortable warmness when wearing the sheet mask probably of the increasing blood flow to my face. It does not tingle or make my face red. I think if your skin likes oriental ingredient then this a good sign.
The 3rd step is the
balancing gel which is for sealing in the goodness of the sheet mask. It is to help with balancing the moisture and oil on the skin. It is slight sticky gel that is hard to spread so don't rub it on the skin. There is slight light herbal scent to it but not much and the scent doesn't last long on the skin. Pat the gel on the skin and it will dries down to a dewy look. It does make the skin looks really nice of those glass skin. However, if you don't fancy that, then pat more to tone it down. I like the effect but I dislike the sticky texture. 😐
It didn't break me out. The instant result is seeing more calming skin and the hydrated glass skin. As for other traditional and plants, I do think one do need to use this sheet mask regularly to see the effect of stronger skin immune system and the ability to adapt to stress such as pollution.
Overall,
Pyunkang Yul 3 Step Mask Pack is a nice affordable sheet mask, simple short ingredients, easy for travelling and for balancing skin that is irritated from the environmental stress. It is great for skin that particularly works well with traditional herbal medicine . My skin works well with hangbang medicine. You can get to try three Pyunkang Yul products from just one sheet mask so if you are not sure then getting this sheet mask can save you money or be your gateway to their hangbang product.
