REVIEW ON PRIMERA ORGANIENCE WATER

Primera is a brand under the Amore Pacific for its eco-products and focus on the sprouts' extract.  I couldn't find any review about this Organience line other than ones in Korean blog but since my Hangul is almost non existent you could guess I just YOLO and get it based on my first sight.

At that time, my skin was still red after beating it with so many products after products and sensitivity to the weather.  I need something that won't aggravate my skin and let's just say I prefer plants based products.

I know it is not as interesting to tell people that I am using plants based products than saying I am using snails but everyone can have their own choice on their skincare products and so I prefer plants.

So, here is a review on Primera Organience Water which I am currently loving.(I hope the love will last). This is actually a hydrating toner.

Primera Organience water which is actually clear brown in the glass bottle. It is transparent once I apply it on my skin. The water is actually a hydrating toner so do not confuse it with cleansing water.

The opening of the bottle is really small so you won't spill it but you still need to be careful else shaking too much might makes you pour out more than necessary.

I love the herbal smell of the water.  The water absorb into my skin fast, hydrates my skin and does not leave a film behind.  It reduces the redness of my skin and calms the irritation of my skin making it soft and bouncy.  I tried not using it for few days and my skin sure misses Primera Organience Water.

Although it has oils from plants sources such as orange, rosemary leaves,lavender the water is still surprisingly light.  I think what makes different on my skin is the present of Soybean Sprout Extract, Dioscorea Japonica Root Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Artemisia Vulgaris Extract.

Soybean Sprouts helps in anti-aging and inhibit tyrosinase.
Dioscorea Japonica Root is a Japanese mountain yam that suppress allergic reaction for over sensitise skin.
Oryza Sativa(Rice) extract is for improving the texture of skin that has been damaged physically or chemically.
Houttuynia Cordata Extract is antifungal, anti bacterial, anti-viral and the plants that survives even after the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant in 2012.
Artemisia Vulgaris Extract is mugwort or wormwood relieves itchiness caused by burn or sensitivity.


Overall it is a hydrating toner that I will recommend for one looking for hydrating, organic products, herbal, love plant products and have sensitive combination skin.  It is also suitable during summer, for oily skin type and if you want to find something to protect your skin from polution.  It won't get rid of cystic acne that is cause by hormonal problems but it can help to calm the skin making my other acne spot treatment works better.  It also doesn't contains any animal derived ingredient.

Primera Organience water is my new love.  I hope that it can walk the 'test of time' to be called my HG soon.  The only complain is the opening of the bottle which is too small.


I will get it again from Globalinterpark as I saw it is the cheapest there.

The sunscreen comes in form of a very light emulsion.  It absorbed fast into the skin and I don't even feel anything after the sunscreen dries up.  The finished is a hydrated moist looking skin which is not matte nor oily looking.  As for the oil control, I think my nose does have a slight sheen when oil comes out from the nose while my other drier areas is the same as it was in the morning and is not flaky.  I don't have huge pores so can't say something about that but the Paula's Choice Resist Youth Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid Spectrum does blur out the skin making it look slightly better.

The sunscreen doesn't have any fragrance to it so it smell a little like 'plastic' which is extremely faint and hardly noticeable.  Doesn't have any smell on my skin once dried.

It doesn't leave a white cast on the skin at all and it will not cause 'pilling' if you use foundation or BB cream after the sunscreen.  I think it is great for someone who has oily skin and lives in humid places.  I have been using it for two weeks and it didn't aggravate my skin condition nor clogged my pores.  I like that the few ingredients are water and glycerin which is very useful for hydrating the skin and keeping the skin moist.  After all, I like hydrated skin but minus those pore clogging ingredients.  There are some plants extract that are antioxidant to the skin but of course I couldn't attest to those ingredients unless I have been using them for two years.

Sunscreen is a good investment for your skin and it is one of the best thing you could do to prevent damage to your skin.

Overall, I will recommend it to oily or combination acne prone skin that needs a light sunscreen that hydrates their skin.  I think this Paula's Choice Resist Youth Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid Spectrum SPF 50 is as good as a famous French brand which is not available in Malaysia.  If you are looking for that brand, this is a similar product.

FOOD:INSTANT NOODLES IN SOUTH EAST ASIA

Alright, this is not a healthy food post to say XD.  I am sorry that I do eat unhealthy once in awhile.  If you have been watching any Asian drama especially the modern drama from Hong Kong, then seeing instant noodles which is a common thing.  Many will question if it is that delicious.  Yes, I am afraid to say so that these instant are so good that they are addictive.

It is common here, when people ask if you can cook, it does not include cooking  'instant noodles'.  This bowl of instant noodles might look like it is cooked by some high end restaurant but it is actually done in less than 5 minutes if you include the eggs XD.

There are many flavour but this is a vegetarian flavour so it is suitable for vegetarians.

There are instructions on how to cook it.

So here is the ingredients.  It is not health so only this like once in a while.

I like it with eggs and some vegetables since eating the noodles is just boring.

It is easy to cook it.
Instruction.
1.Boils the water.
2. Once the water is boil, add vegetables and fishballs.
3. Put the noodles in and cooked for 2minutes.
4..Add fried eggs.
5. Add in the flavour according to your needs.  I usually only add half a packet or else it is too salty.


Most people in Malaysia prefer the curry, laksa, white curry which are spicy XD.  There are many other flavour such as the fried instant noodles too.  Instant noodles are really common here since it is easy to cook and delicious although they are not healthy at all.  So please do not cook this for your Asian parents or Asian parents in law because it is serious culture faux unless you want them to be unhappy about you feeding their precious children with instant food.

REVIEW ON MALAYSIA DAISY HANDMADE BODY PRODUCTS-PAPAYA SOAP,RICE SOAP, SINUS SOAP,CLAY SOAP,PEPPERMINT FOOT SCRUB&SEA SALT BODY SCRUB

I think it is time for me to talk about some indie products produced in Malaysian soil.  Daisy handmade brand produces very affordable handmade products locally and they have many great body products.  A friend gifted them to me since I love body stuff and I am thrilled to find some products with ingredients such as rice and papaya.

The clay mask is suitable for those who have very oily body skin.  The clay mask is mix with some other ingredients that you can feel the 'beads'.  So, do not scrub the soap directly on the skin.
If you have sensitive skin, it is not recommended.  The mask is really made from clay as it smell like one XD.  It is really great in getting rid of all the oil, sweat, clean up the pores from underarms for those who sweats a lot.

The Papaya Soap suits those that looks for whitening soap.  It provides exfoliation on the skin to get rid of dead cells so it can be slightly drying if you have dry skin type.  You do need to combine the soap with other products for better whitening effect.

I love the Rice soap the most as it smells like rice bran and it makes the body skin feels soft and moist.  It is not for getting rid of acne but recommended for those looking for soft skin since rice bran is good for normal skin to dry skin type.  I think this soap is great for those that looks for rice products and wouldn't want to spend tons of money on rice products.  I like this soap =)

I am sorry that I haven't try the Sinus soap since I do not have sinus so it won't have much affect on me.
All the soaps lathered up easily with a lot of foam.

Sea salt body scrub in Lavender

The Sea salt body scrub in Lavender  makes my body soft to the touch.  Your whole bathroom will smell like lavender =)  .  The salt is rather soft actually.  They have more other interesting scrub such as mangosteen which smell different XD.

Peppermint foot scrub

The peppermint foot scrub is really fine.  It is easy to wash the products off and doesn't leave a sticky feeling on the leg.  The peppermint scrub smells so nice, minty and fresh.  It cleanses the feet well without feeling harsh.

Overall, I am loving the rice soap very much and the peppermint foot scrub.  Daisy handmade also have products for post-natal which is useful for mothers.

Note About Essential Oils Used:
Suntegrity scented sunscreens use a very low dilution of essentials oils (less than 1/2 a percent for scent purposes only) together with 20% zinc oxide as a sunscreen. We have performed RIPT (Repeat Insult Patch Test) testing through an outside lab (BioScreen) using a 50 person panel showing no contact irritation or sensitization to our sunscreens. This test allows us to make the claim: Non-Irritating, Allergy Tested and Clinically Tested. If you prefer no essential oils in your product, the tinted face sunscreens and the unscented body sunscreen do not contain essential oils.

The sunscreen is house inside the metallic tube which is a good move to avoid sunlight heat on it.

The sunscreen is like cream on my skin, not sticky and moisturising on my skin.  It will suits dry skin or during winter than on oily skin type.  It does have a white cast which disappeared after 30minutes later.

The sunscreen has the smell of faint oranges which is uplifting if you like orange. The smell disappeared few hours later.  Since it is SPF 30, it is recommended to use this as indoor sunscreen instead of the one you use to go to beach.

It is water resistant but does wash off easily with shower gel.  I didn't trigger any allergic reaction from me since my body is not so picky.  I do love the green tea ingredient in the sunscreen XP.

Do check out the ingredients list because your allergic triggers are not probably not the same as mine.
