The ADE mask pattern

The mask is a little thicker compare to the Overlab one but it really adhered to the skin better.  There isn't any extra essence inside the mask compare to the Overlab range. Besides, that the essence also doesn't drip from the mask.  Perhaps it is because of the unique patterns on the mask.  This mask smell a little like cocoa.

My skin is softer and the pores look really smaller after the mask.  My skin look brighter and more moisturised the next day =)  .  It also calmed the redness of my skin.  I love this Beauty Clinic Mediheal Cacao ADE mask very much as it really suits my skin sensitive and clogged skin.=)  This is will be my favourite sheet masks =) .

REVIEW ON MENTHOLATUM LIPICE COLOR GLOSS SWEET BEAN

I always like using Mentholatum lipice range.  I still do miss the packaging of the lavender water lipice many years ago.  For a person like me who couldn't live without anything to moisturise my lips, lipice was my first encounter of beauty products before many comes into my life.  I always need a lipbalm for chapped lips.

The colour is actually very light pink to the point of transparent but it smell like strawberry and doesn't leave a taste inside my mouth.  I don't have to use lip balm when I have this with me.  Besides, I like to just apply directly to my lips as my fingers will contain a lot of bacteria after touching so many things.

It is moisturising but the lipgloss will disappear fast too.  However, the moisturise do last.  Other than that, this is a good cheap lip gloss.  You can use it with lip tint for those Korean gradient lips which is a hit now.

HOW TO USE:

1. After stabilizing the skin with toner after face wash, gently press the ampoule on the upper part of the pouch following the arrow.
2. Press everywhere so as for the ingredients to be evenly soaked into the lower sheet.
3. After pulling out the sheet sufficiently soaked with the ingredients from the pouch, touch its part with well-absorbed powder and naturally made texture on the face, match the areas of eye rims and mouth on the sheet into the face, and leave them covered.
4. Rest comfortably for 15-20 minutes and remove the mask.
5. Remove the mask, and let the skin absorb the remaining essence by gently patting the skin.

I think that the packaging is beautiful and easy to use.  The reason it is transparent at one side of the mask is for easier usage.  You will be able to see the mask and won't accidentally press the wrong side.  The name Overlab Orange Mandarin collaborate well with the mandarin orange pictures on the mask.  The package comes with instruction in English to help non Korean to understand how to use the pack.  It even contains picture as instructions.  However, the rest is in Korean which I couldn't understand.

The reason why they separate the powdered mask and the ampoule is because the powder contains highly reactive Vitamin C that will loose the effectiveness if left for too long.  That is why one has to use the mask immediately once the ampoule came in contact with the powdered mask.


The sheet mask is of medium thickness.  It is comfortable on my face.
I can't differentiate what the smell but it smelt almost like plain water.  I couldn't smell any orange.  The liquid inside the mask is a lot and generous.  I used them on my neck too.=0

The fix of the mask is okay since I have a small face so i already expected this.

There is sign of brightening on my face but it is not obvious on photos.  My skin is also much moisturise the next day =).  Overall this mask is quite good =) .

REVIEW ON LEMONGRASS HOUSE ROSE ABSOLUTE BATH OIL

Lemongrass house products are natural products and they are handmade.

The bottle is so cute and pretty =)  .  It look much like bottle of drink.  The bath oil that will immediately disperse once it touches the water making the whole room smell like a garden of roses.  If you are one that like roses, this would the smell that you would mostly like.  They do have other bath oil such as blue chamomile, lavender, lemongrass and jasmine.

Since I do not have bath tub at home, I just pour two spoon of oil into the pail and bath with it.  They smell just so great that I don't want to leave the tiny cubicle.  It act as good moisturiser too.  Rest assure that it won't leave you feeling any oily or grease at all.  In fact, my skin just feel moisturise and scented lightly with rose.

I also used them to soak my feet in and they are just so relaxing =)  .  I feel like a princess in a garden of roses.

I think this is just great for a DIY spa at home.

REVIEW ON KELANTAN DELIGHT

even water is put in such classy bottle =)

Kelantan Delight at Sooka Central are well known for Kelantanese fine dining. The interior inside the Sooka is beautiful and classic. One would feel at ease with such surrounding. Thanks Juniper Journal for inviting me to such a wonderful place =) as well Kelantan Delight for such memorable experience there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for Kelantan food =)  .

Keropok lekor

We had keropok lekor and anchovies for starter. The keropok lekor was soft with crunchy exterior. There are actually many varieties of keropok lekor but this is the original version of keropok lekor which I had tasted 10 years ago. Keropok lekor is a famous street food and are commonly eaten during the afternoon tea at the East coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The anchovies with sesame are crunchy and sweet.

Tom yam kelapa

I think that the Tom Yam kelapa is the one most unique dishes of all. The super thick and spicy gravy made it really appetizing even for a person like me who couldn't eat spicy food. There hint of oregano to accompany the gravy. Besides that, there is coconut flesh that helps to tone down the spicy to be more bearable =).

Kerabu sotong

The Kerabu Sotong is great as the squid are very tender and succulent. I don’t normally eat kerabu but this gets me take few more spoon as the squid are so fresh and tasty.

Ikan siakap daun kaduk

This is their most famous dishes of all.  The leaves that looks like the sirih leaves are actually the daun kaduk.  The ikan siakap daun kaduk taste amazing with the sensational gravy that has the hint of fresh coconut milk. However, we can’t figure out the rest of the ingredients. The fish is also fresh and juicy.

Pucuk paku belacan

The pucuk paku belacan is really tasty as I think they use high grade of belacan that smell really good and definitely did not has the pungent smell.  The vegetables is really fresh and crispy.  It felt like eating kangkung =).  Of course different from the previously pucuk paku that I had eaten.

Sambal udang petai

Sambal udang petai is most favourite Kelantanse dishes of all times =).  The fresh tantalizing prawn goes so well with the sauce and the petai.  They used the medium size petai that has medium pungent smell and I love it.  This dish is definitely not spicy at all.  In fact I think there is sugar added to tone down the taste of the sambal.

Telur Dadar

Telur dadar is fluffy as I think the chef cooked it to perfection. If one notice, there are few layers inside the omelets making it really tasty and eating it would be like eating trough French pancake-Crepes.

The syrup selasih is quite tasty with chewable selasih.

By the end of the course, we couldn't stuff the dessert. However, the dessert was the one I was most excited about since I love dessert.

Lompat tikam was presented in such a beautiful way.  Lompat tikam is actually a traditional popular Kelantanse dessert.
The glutinous rice is actually a little hard for my liking but it will soften when soak in the gula kabung and coconut milk.

The soft green pandan kuih is really nice.  It felt like eating pudding. Oooohh, really lovely and not too sweet.  The sweetness is just right.  Yummy.



So sorry, I realise that i didn't even take a single photo of the rice, ayam percik and gulai kawah =(  .  I guess I was too impatient to eat that i totally forgotten about snapping some photos first.  So sorry.

The white rice served was of course high quality as it is grainy and different from the rice that I ate before. It is really a great compliment to accompany all the dishes.

Ayam percik was cooked to perfection and the meat was soft and there was not a single hint of it being oily. I would love to eat it all if not because I am already too full.

The gulai kawah was okay to me as. It wasn't spicy at all but overall the gravy was quite delicious with very subtle hint of spices and coconut milk. The beef was also cooked with technique that it was not chewy at all. =)

REVIEW ON CRABTREE&EVELYN SOMERSET MEADOW HAND CREAM

Seriously, I have no idea what are hand creams until I was introduce to them early this year.  I was wondering what is the usage of having a handcream when the body cream can do the same thing.  Then I found this Crabtree&Evelyn which is famous for their handcreams.  My friend love their hands smelling nice and hand creams do have this function.

My hand smell like fresh cut grass which is soothing but the smell doesn't last long.  The cream is opaque white but turned transparent upon applying on the hands.  After 30 minutes, the smell turns faint and disappeared.  I find it is not that moisturising enough unless i squeeze a large amount and wear gloves over my hands at night.  Well, the design of the tube make it easy to squeeze them out and the packaging are pretty too.  The colours usually follow the designated fragrance od the hand cream.

I think it would be a great gift for those that have dry hands and doesn't like anything sticky.  It is easy to carry them for travelling too.  Sometimes, I use them as body lotion or just to soften the dry patches at my legs.  It does help =) .

The first two ingredients are water and macadamia ternifolia seed oil.

REVIEW ON DERMAFAL PLACENTA SERUM COMPLEX WITH SQUALENE&VITAMIN E

Actually, I have never heard of Dermafal until I got this sheep placenta serum complex with squalene& vitamin E. Apparently, there are many who are raving about this placenta serum.  Yes, sheep placenta for real.  I was very down and depressed that I might have to kill sheeps just for my skincare but after talking with friend, it is fine since it is consider "waste" or the mother sheep will eat it.  I thought that the serum will come bloody but that is all just my imagination. Oh, this product is certified Halal.  Since this is the first time I get requested for a blog review, I have decided to put this post my first priority.  Thanks =)  . Now, I do know that there are people who read my blog's post.

Dermafal products contain:

-Anti-aging properties
Containing 30 kind of amino acids, peptides, vitamins, saccharides, nucleic acids, hundreds of mineral, enzymes and growth factors.  These are essential to activate and regenerate fibroblast cell which ultimately bringing benefits on skin firming, elasticity, wrinkles reduction, lightening freckles & rejuvenate dull skin cells.

There is a light scent if you open the jar and sniffed at it

each capsule is 1 cm X1.7cm

The bottle is really luxurious but also bulky and heavy.  It is made of glass and thus one can see the beautiful pink colour and the capsules within the bottle.  The words written is stamped and won't come out even if you wash it with soap.  The plastic box is hard and comes with a small booklet about Dermafal and their three other products in English and Mandarin.

It does look like the famous Elizabeth Arden ceramide capsules.  The capsules is soft and easy to use.  There are 60 capsules inside one jar.  The gel capsules is even made to look like the heart shape which most people would adore.

The ingredient are really simple.
 Ingredients: Ovine placenta oil, tocopherol, squalene,water,fragrance

At first, I am really in a dilemma as I had avoided all sort of placenta products but then I was sent this for review.  I came across a few articles that sheep placenta is actually a waste product and there is no harm to the sheeps.  Still, I hope that I don't participate in mass macabre of any animals just to own beautiful skin.  Not to say I am a vegetarian and such but it's just that i will try not to use weird things if I can.  The concentration of placenta is really high.  Squalene is liver oil from sharks.  I am not sure the type of sharks but there are sharks where people eat.  Yes, can even buy them from the market.  Not the same type as shark fins.  I don't know if using placenta is still consider weird with snail cream,Vampire facial and even leeches facial nowadays.

I only use this serum on my skin at night since good things are suppose to be use at night for it to be more effective.  Morning regime is more suitable for products that moisturise and protect so therefore i decided to use this only at night.  Night regime is to heal "wounded" skin like mine.  If you have extra money or want it to work faster, you can try using it in the morning as moisturiser.  I am only using this after cleanser at night.

The oil is clear transparent and it is just enough for my face and there isn't extra for my neck.  The serum absorb into my skin immediately.  It will be oily at first but then the oil would just disappeared by itself after 1 minutes and there wouldn't be any traces of oil.  It is called facial oil but not the greasy type.  I heard that squalene &vitamin E is more suitable towards those that want to heal their wounds like me =) .  The other two are much oilier than the serum with squalene and vitamin E.

The smell is not that fantastic but bearable.  Just don't expect it to smell like Chloe perfume since it contain high amount of Vitamin E.
The liquid is pretty much transparent and absorb easily into my skin immediately making my skin moist and soft skin.  The moisturise do last until the next morning.  This oil made my skin so moisturise and soft that I can even skip moisturiser the next morning if I am in a hurry.

I have scars and erupting acne as a results of not sleeping properly two weeks and this placenta serum seems to magically help to get rid of the acne scars which normally takes forever to heal.  The effect is much faster compare to just using aloe vera.  I can see obvious effect on my skin the next day itself when I am using this serum!  My face also doesn't flush or turn red that easily too.  I guess it is suitable even for sensitive skin =) .

After few days of using it, I was surprised that my nose is not so oily!  I think it does help in balancing the skin =) .  The other area of my face is well moist =) .  I like how the skin looks when I am using this serum!

Not sure if my freckles gets any lighter.

Okay, I have to been saying everything good about this Dermafal placenta serum and it sound like I was exaggerating to be true right? Well, seeing is believing right?

REVIEW ON SKINMISO PORE BEAUTY NOSE PACK

If you are a fan of Korean beauty products, I am sure you would know about this famous Skinmiso pore pack.  I was really excited when I saw this in My HiShop August Beauty Box.  I really want to try this.


The package comes with words in English to help non-Korean to understand how to use the pack.  It even contains picture as instructions.  So, you would definitely understand how to use this.

1.  Wash the nose with water and put Step1 on nose.
2.  After getting rid of Step1, remove the whiteheads and blackheads with cotton swabs or SkinMiso Comedo Remover.
3.  Then wash the nose with water and put Step2 for 10minutes.
4.  Clear Step2 away and put few drop of Step3.


As I don't have Step3, I think the results will be a little different.

Here is the the picture of my nose with Step1.  Step contains one nose sheet containing the essence to remove blackheads and whiteheads.  It smell something like a herbal tea which is okay to me.  The essence is just nice and not much extra inside the packet.  The nose sheet is comfortable and soft just like a face sheet mask. I can feel a little tingly sensation that lasted only for few seconds.  It is not painful at all.  The sheet mask will make the whiteheads and blackheads come out.  Mine seems clean so there isn't any gross thing to show you.  I tried to pinch my nose so hard but seriously there isn't any.  So, this Step1 is really effective in making all the whiteheads and blackheads come out on its own.  However, stop or remove it if you feel painful.

The Step2 smelt the same as Step1.  The sheet is also comfortable and soft just like a face mask. This Step2 does cool down and reduce the redness on my nose because I love to pinch my nose too hard =(  .  My pores seems smaller and cleaner too =) .  The nose is really clean.  It even get rid of the whiteheads I have in one go.  I think it would be better if you use it weekly before those whiteheads and blackheads build up.

Overall, I think this is really effective in removing blackheads and whiteheads and much better than Biore pore pack in removing blackheads and whiteheads although the Biore pore packs are much cheaper.
