The rest the ingredients are for hydration, texture and skin conditioning.

I find that the star ingredient propolis 83% high on the list which is really good.  Propolis is a good ingredient antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial and antifungal which is good for acne prone skin.

Texture: The yellowish clear liquid has medium viscosity in it.  It absorbs easily when I pat it on my skin leaving no sticky feeling.  It doesn't have any sort of strong scent.

Review: This ampoule is hydrating, calming and fungal acne safe which is really nice.  It does calm the skin and hydrate skin even when my skin is sensitive and red.  When using it for above 3weeks, it does give a slight dewy healthy glow on my skin.  I do think it does keep my skin clear of acne.

Overall: Great for anyone with acne prone skin , for anti aging and looking for fungal safe ampoule.

Nice good ingredients with many natural safe plant ingredients.

Packaging: The name of the product and brand are in English.  Everything else is written in Japanese.  The bottle design is sleek and pretty.  One can view the amount of the powder wash from the bottle since the lower half of the bottle is transparent.

 

Ingredients talk: 

Paraben free, alcohol free, Eu allergen freem, silicone free 

sulfate-not free, not fungal-acne safe (malassezia). 

The sulfate is Na olefin (C14-16) sulfonate.

The ingredient being  rice bran oil. 

Texture: The power is very soft. It has mixed of some colours with majority it is soft white powder.  When mixed with water it does turned into milky foam which is soft on the skin.  It smells mostly like rice.  It has pH of about 5.5 if water pH is 7.

Review: It cleanses my skin without irritating my skin.  It does remove sunscreen and some light makeup.  It feels like washing my face with soft cloud, gentle on my skin and doesn't make my skin feels dry or thight.  I feel like washing my face with rice which is just enjoyable each time.  Since it is a cleanser which doesn't stay on face more than 1 minutes, as long it doesn't irritate I find that it is a good cleanser.

Overall: A nice low soft gentle rice powder wash from Japan suitable for any skin type.

Wild yam mucin is very high on the list.  It is a real nice ingredients that is good for hydration and healing the skin.

Hyaluronic acid, panthenol and argine provides a lot of hydration for the skin and soothe the skin.

The centella asiatica is good for soothing, healing and calming the skin.

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free and fungal acne safe (malassezia).

Texture: It has this slimy slight viscous feeling that absorbs well but hydrating on my combination acne prone the skin.  There is no added fragrance or colouring so it does have very faint woody scent that does not linger on the skin.

Review: This is a vegan hydrating toner that is really nice on the skin.  It soothes and calm my skin when it is red and irritated.  Layering 3times is enough to keep my skin hydrated in this hot humid weather.  It doesn't clogged or cause me acne since it is also fungal safe.  I like it that it helps to speed up healing, hydrating, gentle, mild and also comes in affordable 250ml bottle.

Overall: A very mild, gentle, simple and soothing toner for any skin type especially those with damage skin barrier.

Texture: It comes in a nice bottle bottle that has a fine mist.  It is bi-phase so requires to shake first.  

It has the scent of fresh fruits which is really nice and natural.  I love the scent.

Review: This mist is enough to hydrate the skin right after cleanser for people that don't have enough time to apply moisturiser and hydrating toners before heading out.  If sprayed too many times, it can be oily so it is recommended for dry skin type.  However, I think it is also suitable for combination skin since two spray and it is enough to keep me hydrated without feeling heavy.  It is also fungal safe which is awesome.

Overall: It is a good fungal safe hydrating mist for people on the go that is suitable for even acne prone skin type.  Good for hot summer weather too.  If you are thinking whether to get the falling in rose mist or this Time is running out mist, I will recommend to get this Time is running out mist.

Texture: It has very watery liquid that absorbs fast onto the skin without any traces.  As for the scent, nearly non existent.  I have to put the liquid so near and it just smell like very faint of the scent in their 100% centella ampoule.

Review: It is a very light slightly acidic toner. It absorbs very fast into the skin so it is more suitable for combination or oilier skin type.  I find it is not that hydrating if I want to just use it on its own.  One can use it to swipe the face with cotton pad for a better makeup.  It is not irritating and doesn't cause any clogged pores.  I like that it is fungal safe just incase my skin decides to be angry with me.

Overall: It is a great light watery toner for combination or oily skin type, acne prone skin, in hot humid weather, fungal safe.

REVIEW ON THE ORDINARY EUK 134 0.1% ANTIOXIDANT

I finally tried The Ordinary and no, it is not that red serum that is always sold out.  I am not ready to nuke my skin even when Tik Tok influencers are promoting melting your face off with strong acid everyday is the way to go if you have acne prone skin.  

Sorry, I can't make my skin submit.  My skin already detonate itself a few times.

So, what did I get then?   So here is the review on The Ordinary EUK 134 0.1% because of the interesting ingredient superoxide dismutase and catalase. 

The Ordinary is a brand that produce affordable products.  Their motto is Clinical Formulations with Integrity and is born to disallow commodity to be disguised as ingenuity.  So their products have very simple ingredients.  Products are free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, animal oils, coal tar dyes, formaldehyde, mercury, oxybenzone.

EUK-134™ is a derivative of superoxide dismutase and catalase.  It mimics two antioxidant skin enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase which are two smart enzymes found in our bodies that speed up the conversion of cell damaging free radicals into friendly and harmless things such as water and oxygen.

It is a water-free antioxidant solution that max the anti aging effects.

Packaging: It has simple design with ingredients on the box.  The dark dropper style bottle is easy to use.

Ingredients: 

Propanediol, Ethylbisiminomethylguaiacol Manganese Chloride

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free, fungal-acne safe (malassezia).

Water degrades most potent antioxidants. This formula contains 0% water, 0% silicones, 0% oils and 0% alcohol for maximum potency and stability.

 

The Ordinary uses twice the amount of 0.05% which is the usual concentration in skincare so this bottle has double the effectiveness of antioxidant.  Also EUK-134™'s is actually very expensive so getting this ingredient in The Ordinary is a good deal.

Caution**: EUK 134 cannot be used with the direct acids, pure Vitamin C, Ethylated Ascorbic Acid, Copper Peptides or Resveratrol

Texture&scent: Brown oil liquid since The Ordinary use waterless formulation.  It doesn't have any scent at all even when I placed it as closed as my nose. As for the texture, it is waterless oil liquid that takes time to absorb.  I do have to keep patting it until it absorbs and use a water toner and moisturiser.  If I just put it on, it will just sit on top of the skin.

Review:  I stop using my vitamin C for a month.  I use it twice a day.  Using it in the morning to protect my skin and using it at night for repairing my skin.  I use about half the dropper each time.  It gave me this warm feeling that lasted a few seconds each time I applied it on my skin.  It is not tingling or painful feeling.

No irritation my skin or cause me breakouts.  In fact, it helps to speed up healing time and reduce the inflammation I have on my face because of acne.  It also reduces redness on my skin and my skin soft, more bouncy and youthful.  The effect is gradual and it reduces damages on days I pick on my pimples.  It does reduce and lighten the lines on my face.  I tried not using for a week and sure enough, lines and redness start to make the appearance.

The not so good thing about this is probably just the not so elegant texture which I can compensate by using other watery texture products with it.

 

Overall: I think The Ordinary EUK 134 0.1% is a great choice as antioxidant choice for dull, sensitive, acne prone skin.  Since you do not need to put inside the fridge, it is more usage friendly.  Also I find it easier to use something like this  EUK 134 0.1% that doesn't require me to remember which day I have used the product or else damage barrier skin that needs months to heal afterwards.
