Sulfur 3% Clean Gel
is a hydrating gel that helps with preventing acne, unclogging pores, and controlling existing breakouts. The ingredient, Collodial Sulfur penetrates pores to dry out the skin surface to absorb excess oil and dries out dead skin cells to unclog pores.

Usage:
Spot Area: Apply on spots by using cotton swabs at the last step of skincare.
Entire Face: Spread thinly all throughout the face at the last step of skincare.

Ingredients:
Aqua (Water), Methyl Trimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sulfur, Acacia Senegal Gum, 1,2-Hexanediol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Isostearate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopherol, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Xanthan Gum, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Vinyl Dimethicone/Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Denatonium Benzoate, Disodium EDTA, Alcohol, Ethylhexylglycerin

Packaging: The yellow box comes with ingredients list in English as well in Korean.  The tube comes with a screw lid to avoid leaking during travelling.

Ingredients: As for the ingredient, it is a water based spot treatment and the sulfur being the star ingredient high in the list.  There are glycerin, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid so this product is not too drying.

No Artificial Colors, Oils or Fragrances. No Parabens. No Animal Testing. Sulphate free, silicone free, Eu allergen free.  Not fungal safe and it does have alcohol in it.

The ingredients that cause more fungal acne problems are Sorbitan Isostearate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Glyceryl Stearate.

The rest of ingredients are most for texture, scent controlled and solvent.  I am curious as why sufactant such as Glyceryl Stearate is inside this product though.

Scent and texture: It has more of a light lotion type instead of gel actually.  The light yellow gel absorbs into my skin leaving a matte finishing.  I could also use pimple patches on top of it without it coming off.  There isn't any noticeable scent.  It smell like how most unscented skincare products are.

Review:  I find that it is not drying at all even when I use it twice everyday.  It does treat underground acne which normally doesn't disappeared without treatment.  The underground pimples will come out as whitehead after a day.  As for whiteheads, it takes about 3days to disappear.  My acne such as whiteheads don't disappeared on its own without any intervention from powerful big gun acne treatments.

As for if it treats those red acne spot, you will need to add in some vitamin C or other brightening products since this sulfur is meant for treating acne.

Avoid this spot treatment if you have fungal acne since it will trigger more problems.  My jaw suddenly broke out in fungal acne.  Other part of my face is okay though.

Overall, By Wishtrend Sulfur 3% clean gel is a spot treatment for mild to moderate acne that needs a stronger acne treatment.  Not for fungal acne though.

The skin around the eyes are often the most delicate and the most susceptible to the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Face care without eye care is not a complete beauty regime.
Swanicoco’s Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream is a symphony of nature and science, providing you with the gentlest yet effective eye care.

It is filled with popular dermatological ingredients such as Peptides and Ceramides. Peptides have anti-inflammatory properties, promotes collagen and elastin production. While Ceramides, are lipids that help repair and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier system.

It also contains prized ingredients such as wild ginseng roots and EGF (Epidermis growth factors, which are naturally occurring proteins in our bodies that declines as you age and hence the need for an external boost), both of which works to protect and revitalize your skin.

The special fermentation process breaks down these ingredients further, allowing it to penetrate easily deep into your skin, effectively nourishing and moisturizing your delicate skin around the eyes. A highly effective product in reducing wrinkles around the eyes and keeping the signs of ageing at bay.

How to use:
This could be the last step in your beauty regime, apply an appropriate amount on the areas around your eyes.  Use your fingertips to gently tap in the product

Ingredients:
Aspergillus/Rice Ferment Filtrate, Ginseng Callus Culture Extract, rh-Oligopeptide-1, Caffeoyl Tripeptide-1, sh-Octapeptide-4, Nicotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Acetyl hexapeptide-22, Butylene Glycol, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Dictyopteris Polypodioides Extract, Stearic Acid, Niacinamide, Saccharomyces/Viscum Album (Mistletoe) Ferment Extract, Saccharomyces/Imperata Cylindrica Root Ferment Extract, Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Ceramide EOP, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Polysorbate 60, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Saccharomyces/Asparagus Cochinchinensis Root/Lycium Chinense Root/Ophiopogon Japonicus Root/Panax Ginseng Root/Poria Cocos/Rehmannia Glutinosa Root Ferment Filtrate, Allantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer, Arginine, Centella Asiatica Extract, Magnolia Kobus Bark Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Ruta graveolens Oil, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Adenosine, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Leaf Extract, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, and Thujopsis Dolabrata Branch Extract

Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream comes in a tube which is really easy to dispense.  It is also a huge tube given that it is 45ml instead of the normal 15ml.  I think the price is justified for the amount of high grade ingredients inside this eye cream.  In fact, it is still cheaper than brands with ginseng in their eye cream.

As for the ingredients, I really love that Swanicoco put a lot of high grade ingredients in this tube of eye cream.  Fermented rice, ginseng, all the peptides, ceramides, centella asiatica, licorice, grapefruits and no colouring or added fragrance in it.

It is paraben free, sulfate free, silicone free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free.
It is not Fungal Acne Safe since there are a lot of fermented ingredients.  I don't have problem using it on my eye's area though.

The cream is very light lotion and absorbs into my eye area keeping it hydrated.  It doesn't cause any milia or clogged pores which happen when you use something too heavy for your eye area.  There is no added scent but it does have very faint citrus scent.  I do think it keeps my eyes' area hydrated and reduce fine lines.

Overall, Swanicoco Fermentation Peptine Eye Care Cream is an affordable ginseng eye cream.

5 REASONS FOR YOUR ACNE BREAKOUTS

Hi beautiful,

Acne won't kill you.  It is here to hound you and make you feel miserable.  No, it doesn’t magically disappeared overnight by going to bed.  Here are the 5 reasons that you have acne breakouts and how to deal with them in animation forms.  I hope that you will like them.
5 reasons for your acne breakouts

Here is the video version if you want to see animated version of this article.

5 reasons that you have acne breakouts

1. Puberty
Growing up is hard enough but acne has to mess up your most exciting time.  The triggers are testosterone and androgen.  These hormones just change your skin structures and thus  all the sudden eruption all over your face.

If you are female there are chances that you will get acne even when you are over 21.

5 reasons that you have acne breakouts
2.  Allergies
It is the hidden killer of your skin.  Your skin doesn’t have a mouth that you are poisoning it.  Contact dermatitis is skin allergies.  Everyone has different kind of triggers so get checked.  It could be anything from food such as dairy, sugar, gluten, fragrance, essential oils to rarer ones such as tea, snail, grass, pollen etc

5 reasons that you have acne breakouts
3.  Cosmetics
For those that get their makeup done by others, dirty makeup brushes and low quality makeup can lead to irritation on the skin.

For skincare products, using too many skincare products at the same time without trying them out one by one for at least one month can just break your skin out.  Look into skincare products for your skin type and not what your favourite youtubers are using.

The non comedogenic is tested on rabbit’s ear and not on human so it isn’t accurate to how the skin products will work on your skin.

5 reasons that you have acne breakouts

4.  Clothes
Just make sure to clean your hat, your glasses, change your bed sheets, gym bags and pillow cases every week.  Dust and oil on those clothing can trap unwanted stuff to your skin.

5 reasons that you have acne breakouts

5.  Genetics
Some people just get the end of the short sticks.  So you can’t just the same bar soap for your face and your body else hell break loose.

5 reasons that you have acne breakouts

So what are the solutions for this acne?

If you have access to dermatologists, then they will give you some options.  The last resort is usually accutance which has to be given by medical professional.  It is not a miracle with zero side effects though so read them up first before jumping to this head first.

Dermatologist can also prescribe you pill antibiotics and for females are birth control pills.  There are steroid injections but not recommended.

The topical products are usually just combination of antibiotic, benzoyl peroxide, BHA and AHA which you can buy from pharmacies.

What if you just want to skip all these nonsense?
Of course you can.  Just read few thousands of articles, google up every single ingredient name from the ingredient list, 180 degree lifestyle changes, food changes and read up hundreds of reviews of skincare products. Good luck with that.

Before I leave it here, make sure to not buy into those weird natural remedies using lemon and vinegar on your face.

FOOD REVIEW ON 10CENT COFFEE

Hi,

Millennials can't save money because we eat avocado toast and drink USD5 coffee😂

How many of you hear that often?

review on 10cent coffee

I don't even know how avocado toast taste like. As for the USD5 coffee, I think I had like less than 10times in my 30years of living.  While the blaming goes on and on , I am here with my RM3(USD0.70) which you can drink 8times.  So the maths came out to USD0.10 coffee.  If you want to be even more cheap then make it two cups so it will just be USD0.05😂 .

You don't even need a coffee machine and it is not an instant coffee.  However, the coffee we have in Asia is actually robusta which has stronger caffeine.  'S' shop use Arabica so it has milder taste.

I have been drinking this Kluang coffee which comes in resealable zipper bag.  Inside, there are 8 coffee mixture bags.  Place one packet of the coffee bag  into your cup and then pour hot water into it.  Tadaa, coffee without all the trouble of cleaning those coffee machine.  It has 70% coffee beans, sugar and margerine.  I usually drink them with a little sugar.  It is also possible if you want to do cold brew.

To be even more frugal, you can use the leftover for your plant or for beauty.

8 MINIMALISM TIPS IN BEAUTY

Hi beautiful,

Ah, the current trending minimalism😀.   Keep only the things that spark joys.  I don't mean "A bar soap for my face, body, hair and my dishes."

Here are 8 minimalism tips in beauty.

8 Minimalism tips in beauty

1. You only need 3 to 5 skincare items

Basically, you will need a cleanser, a hydrating toner or moisturizer, a sunscreen and a treatment for your skin problems. Nowadays, there are so many skincare products out there with properties in one product.  There are moisturizer that hydrates my skin and provide acne treatment for my skin at the same time.

2. Limit your hair products to 2 things and one hair tool

Spending 3 hours daily between hair styling, skincare and makeup are really exhausting to me.  Not to mention spending that extra 30minutes choosing what to wear.  Some people do co washing or using hair conditioner and then a shampoo once a week. As for my oily scalp and living in humid weather, I just use two types of shampoo.  I use only one hair tools which is the hair dryer.  It is just tiring to be straightening or curling the hair everyday for me.

3.  Two body products

One good body lotion that doesn't dry out your skin for your body since it is just so troublesome to crowd your bathroom with too many products.  One can also buy those in packet and just reuse the bottle that is already in your bathroom.

8 minimalism tips in beauty

4.  Multi task your makeup items

Many buy way more makeup items that their skincare items. It also means you do prioritize covering up the flaw than treating existing skin problems. In real life, having good skin means you only need to just minimal. An eyeshadow palette can serve as blusher, eyebrow pencil, eyeshadows, eyeliner and shading. I use my lip tint as my blusher too. You can use your mascara as waterproof eyeliner. Basically you only need two or three makeup items for a full makeup.

8 minimalism tips in beauty

5. 4 pair of quality shoes

None of us have money of Carrie in Sex and the City unless we are some billionaire wife with money to spend on $40,000 Monolo Blahnik. You don’t have to go to extreme of having only one pair of shoes unless you don’t do sports or go out at all. Basically 1 flip flop, 1 working shoe, 1 sport shoe and one fancy special event shoes will do.  You need 4 pairs of shoes and anything more is probably troublesome to maintain.  Don't buy shoes from shops that is already on shelves for more than one year since those spoil quite fast.

6.  8 pair of outdoor Clothes + 8 pairs of clothes indoor

I usually have 7 pairs of clothes for my working days.  The reason is I do need to prepare extra one pair of clothes incase something happened such as accidentally tore my clothes.  8pairs of clothes inside the house will be more than enough if you do your laundry once a week.  You could do the same for your underwear too.  Basically, it won't take up the space of the whole wardrobe and still wonder why "I have nothing to wear" in the morning. Some people can go down to lesser things but I can't since I am a female and  I can't just wear the same two pants for the whole week as how some males do it.

7. Bags/Purse
Purse are the epitome of success for women. Personally I don't care much about branded purse/bags but I know many do.  I find it troublesome to carry bags.  Then,  you can't be carrying everything with your hands.  I find having three bags are more than enough if you are into minimalism.  One bag for working days, one fancy bags for special occassion and another bag for heavy duty things such as carry all those gym clothes and stuff.

 8 minimalism tips in beauty.

8. Recycle or reuse the bottles
Loccitane accept any brands of beauty products for recycling.  With some stamps you will get travel size Loccitane items which is really great.  Innisfree accept their brands products and you will get some sort of discount for it.  HM also does give discount on clothing items that you recycle with them.

Thank you for reading😁. Minimalism doesn't mean devoid you of happiness in life or force yourselves to be happy with horrible skin just to save up that few dollars but losing the ability to look professional for a certain job position.

Packaging: Artichoke Intensive Skin Barrier Ampoule comes in a nice box with a dropper style glass bottle.  I do like the clean simple design.  It has ingredients printed on the box in English too.

Ingredients: As for the ingredient, it is a water based ampoule with aloe vera leaf water which is very gentle for any skin type.No Artificial Colors, Oils or Fragrances. No Parabens. No Animal Testing.  The Centella Asiatica is 110,000 ppm which is high enough to provide the benefits of speeding up healing process to prevent acne scars, calms irritation, inflammation and reduce the fungal acne growth.

Licorice calms inflammation caused by pollutants and rosacea.  It also brightens skin with healing benefits.
Okra hydrates to fades post acne pigmentation.
Burdock Root has anti-bacterial properties.

Paraben free, sulfate free, silicone free, Eu allergen free. two fungal-acne trigger, Sorbitan Sesquioleate and PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil.  I don't mind the alcohol since it is mostly use as a solvent and it is not necessary going to dry you out like a prune.

Scent and texture: It doesn't really have any scent in it. The closest I could describe is it has the very faint scent of plastic which isn't bad or something since the scent does not last more than few seconds on my face.  The  ampoule has watery texture with viscosity which does take a few seconds to absorbs into skin without leaving any stickiness. It works great under makeup and doesn't cause piling.

Review: After using it for a month, I find that this ampoule does help to controls oil production and hydrate the skin which reduce pores and fine lines.  The ingredients inside this products also heal skin and reduce damaged on the skin from environmental stress such as dust.  It does reduce the acne on my face, speed up healing of my skin, reduce redness and reduce my acne severity.

Overall, Artichoke Intensive Skin Barrier Ampoule is great skin barrier ampoule for acne prone skin.  It is great for any acne prone skin type even with sensitivity.   It is also suitable for hot and humid weather.

REVIEW ON NONGSHIM SHIN RAMYUN NOODLE SOUP

Hi foodie,

My first experience with Korean culture is actually with their Nongshim instant noodles which after that lead me into more of their food and Kbeauty.

Still after many years, Nongshim Shin Ramyun noodle soup is still one of my favourite noodles.

The company Nongshim is a food and beverage company that lead Korean culinary culture since 1965.

Nongshim Shin Ramyun noodle soup

Packaging:  The packet does have ingredients list and instruction in English.  There is the powder and the other is the mix dehydrated vegetables.  The noodles come in round shape which is how they look since 10 years ago.  Cooking them is actually easy and straightforward.  The word spicy is probably the moderate spiciness which is just right for me.  It is not too spicy but if you are the type that can only handle spiciness of potato then this is probably going to burn you.

Review:   I do like the taste of the soup and the tangy scent of kimchi.  The noodles are just soft springy which is delicious.  The portion is okay if you are not a big eater.  If you do want something more do add a slice of instant cheese which is how Korean mostly eat their instant noodles.

Overall, Nongshim Shin Ramyun noodle soup is pretty good after years of them.  I just wish the taste is a little bit more savoury though.
