Sheet masks are something that I consider a treat for myself or just wanting to look the best I can. Many attest to the 1 sheet mask per day to maintain their flawless skin.

I am not in the position to be using USD1.20 per sheet every day because I sure do not have deep pockets to maintain that kind of lifestyle. I was glad that Lululun masks were mentioned and so I got this packet of 32 pieces for USD21 (excluding shipping).

There are 7pieces in a packet but I got this one which is in a box. I got the precious red which is for anti aging and for moisturizing. The other precious blue which is for brightening doesn’t interest me as much as anti aging

Here is the pretty red golden metallic plastic box. There is a plastic box inside to maintain the ‘tissue box’ look. Don’t put this in the bathroom because some people will mistake this as tissue box.

I use clean tweezers to take one sheet mask out or else I might accidentally take two or contaminate the whole box of sheet masks. The essence smells very much like fermented rice. The smell is faint enough but for those that hate it, it might not be an enjoyable experience. I don’t mind the smell at all.

The mask fits my face except that the nose flap doesn’t cover my big nose. The flap for the nose is for those with small nose I think. The size of the holes for the eyes and mouth is perfect for me. The cotton mask sheet is soft and silky enough. The essence doesn’t drip from my face during duration of wear which is about 15minutes. It will start drying up because it doesn’t contain as much as essence as masks from Taiwan but I think it is consider good enough considering the price is only about USD 0.66 per pieces. There is slight oily texture on the skin because there is bran oil. My skin does feel hydrated but it is best to use it every day for more pronounced effect and to maintain the hydrated complexion.

The jar is of heavy glasses with aluminum lids so be extra careful with it.

The salt is pink and has light smell of tea tree mix with peppermint.  The body scrub is not drying and it cleanses the skin very well.  Peppermint and tea tree are good ingredients for acne prone skin or oily skin type.

The salt melts on contact with water so do add a little water if it is too rough for the skin.  I use it together with my body shampoo and then apply body lotion after that for a super soft moisturise skin =) .

TRAVEL IN MALACCA, MALAYSIA

Hi travelers,
Wanting to travel to Melaka, Malaysia?

I have shared about the food in Jonker Street and the famous Nadeje Mille Crepe so today I am just going to share about the views around Jonker street which is within walking distance.

Here is what you will see once you are out of the Jonker Street, a red bulding.

The road is Masjid Selat Melaka (Mosque of Strait of Melaka)

Here is the river which is extremely stinky and dirty in the past. It smelt like sewage in the past. XP Now it is place for the river cruise. I did not go for the cruise as there isn’t much to see in the afternoon. It is around Rm15 for the cruise.

It also the place for the traditional cendol.

This is the Doraemon fair held in Mall. There are Doraemon merchandise sold but they are generally very expensive XP. So, here are just the photos of it. I wish the door is coming to reality soon so that I can just travel around with foot instead of cars which is way of a hassle. Many here drives like a mad person here that I feel that my life is threaten every seconds.

There is nothing much to see unless you are interested in ancient stuff like museum. I generally just eat non-stop when I got travelling.

REVIEW ON NADEJE MILLE CREPE THE ORIGINAL MILLE CREPE

People say “curiosity kills the cat”. It doesn’t kill anyone except killing my expectation. How curious? I was curious enough to think about the mille crepe for three days and two nights. I also keep on bugging my friend to no end for it. Partly also because someone asked me to try it out knowing that I am going there.  This is part of the food trip in Melaka I did in late December.

Yes, I have to queue up and I hate queuing up for anything at all. I have to keep on telling myself to be patient for this famous cake. We got seated first because there were only two of us. So, if you are going out there in a group, chance is you are going to wait longer. The bigger your group, the longer you might need to wait.

Let face it, bigger groups tend to hand out really long compare to two people who are just there for dessert and nothing else.

We ordered the orange chocolate and green tea. Both are non alcohol. There are alcoholic mille crepes if you want but well, I was more interested in trying the green tea mille crepe.

I probably have Milky way High of an expectation for the mille crepes. I was not blown away to Pluto when I ate them. The green tea cake is not soft enough and it is too creamy. The red beans is too small for me to be able to feel the taste and texture of how red beans should be.

Orange chocolates taste better. There is mixture of chocolates and oranges. However, the chocolates could be more as I can taste more heavy creamy than the chocolates.

I think my experience was not really a good one partially because I was seated next to a family with a kid that is noisy enough for me to think twice of coming back. Parents just let the child run around and this disturb people next to them. I just can’t wait to get out of the shop because I like to enjoy my food in a peaceful manner, not with disturbance.

Overall, it is not exceptional enough for me to go again. It is a hip place for the young adult and youngster. I rather go back to the Jonker Street for the Melaka coffee or other state coffee.

REVIEW ON MY SCHEMING HERBAL ANTI ACNE MASK

After reading a lot of rave about My Scheming mask, I have decided to give this sheet mask a go and see if this is better than the MBD masks which are just average in my opinion. I may not have tried all the MBD range but I find that …just say that most of the one I have tried does not live up to my sky high expectation of sheet masks.

 The packaging is really cute and appealing with picture of a girl hitting the ‘acne balls’. The smell is nice and ingredients are not bad in my opinion. It does have zinc sulfate which is beneficial for acne prone skin. Other ingredients such as plant ingredients got me interested too.

The masks sheet has pearl paper to avoid tearing the mask. Just remove the pearl paper before applying the sheet mask on your face.

Here is my angry face after I do too much of extraction. I know it is not good but I just can’t help my itchy hands.


The sheet mask is of medium thickness which is good for holding the essence. There is no dripping on my clothes which I really like. The sheet mask adheres to my skin very well. I also like the fit of the mask which finally managed to cover my nose and not overly big.

I love the herbal smell which is enjoyable to me. It smells like a little like green tea.

My redness is sure reduced and face is well hydrated. Overall, I like this sheet masks and will buy this again.
