It is okay for the runaway on the back of my hands because there are so many lines but it won't happen since we don't have those heavy lines on the eyelids.


The tip make it easy to draw the eyeliner given a person like me who is not good in drawing eyeliner.  It dries really fast and is also oil proof too as the eye liner stayed put through the day even when my other makeup have already melted off.  You have to remove this with makeup remover as the staying power is just too good.

However, it is suggested for contact lens wearer to not use waterproof eyeliner so this might not suits you.

Sorry, this is the problem of having Asian eyes, despite drawing a thick liner, this is all it appears on when I open my eyes. I don't want to shock you by drawing 2inch of eyeliner on my eyes.  XP


There isn't any much smell to it so it is fine to me.  The purple eyeliner does look good on me and the shades is good for the smokey or just a swipe of colour on the eyes.  I think this is good despite it being a drugstore product.

The lipstick is soft and smooth upon application. The colour looks peachy with golden flakes on my lips .  I think it is perfect for daily wear.  The colour is pigmented enough with just one swipe and doesn't fade until I eat.  The texture is satin smooth with creamy feeling but not to the point of matte.  it is worth to check out this colour if you are a fan of a natural lip colour like me. =)

Out of the two range-Okuru and Wakame, I chose Wakame as it is for those below 35 and I think it would suit my skin better.  Besides, there is only 3 products which make it easier for me to use considering how lazy I am.  I love anti aging products considering that I am near 30 years now( western age) but let just say that I don't like to layer too many products on my face.


Wakame is actually a type of seaweed and we often heard how beneficial seaweed is in reducing irritation and for anti aging purposes. There are many high end beauty products with seaweed in it.

 The eye cream comes up in form of opaque fluid cream which absorbed well into the eye area leaving it looking refreshed. It has a little smell of oil but the smell disappeared upon application.



The ‘protect and repair lotion’ absorb easily onto the skin and it balanced the skin oil. My skin was less oily and more moist through the rest of the day. My redness was tone down as well.


As for the anti aging effect,  I have the feeling my skin was smoother after 3 weeks of usage. I have this fine lines on my forehead and fine laughing lines but it was reduced after using the range so I think it helps to reduce the sign of ageing without the oily feeling on the skin.

LAPURETE WAKAME Hydrating Foaming Lotion

The cleanser has a subtle faint smell of seaweed and it foam up the moment you press the pump so it is easy to control the amount of usage. It does remove the makeup on the skin and cleanses the skin well. The skin is also tone up after that.

If you are below 35, then it is better to use the Wakame range as the Okuru range might be too thick for skin below 35 which doesn’t need the extra oil.  Their main ingredients Wakame is sourced from pristine water of Tasmania in Australia and Patagonia in South America. Korean tints are available in many forms and you will love it even if you are not hit by the Korean wave.  I particularly love tints because it doesn't cause my lips to chaps even when my lips are already looking like tree barks.  My lips are just so dry that even Vaseline can’t help much.

DIY RICE PAPER GEL MASKS USING SPRING ROLL PAPERS

Sometime last year, I watched a popular Korean beauty show and saw many were introducing the rice paper as cheap alternative of gel type of masks. As a skincare junkies, I was frantically searching for the rice paper and ........  Well just say I gave up and forget about it already.

Just when I wasn't searching, I went travelling and accidentally came across this rice papers at Nu Sentral so I decided to buy and try it. My curiosity and being a skincare junkies get the better of me. In a blink of an eye, I was at the counter paying for the rice papers and some ingredients for the masks.

There are some alternative to using this rice paper so you can tweak it according to your liking.  I would always just go direct to the easiest and less messy way.

So here is the rice paper which is actually spring roll paper.  There is a lot in one packet and they are really cheap.

I am using organic green tea for calming purposes.  Make sure the liquid you use is not warm or hot or else the rice paper will turn into something else.  You can use milk instead of green tea for brightening purposes.  You don't need a lot.  You can drink the rest of the green tea and leave some for making this rice paper mask.

You can cut the rice paper into two or four smaller pieces.  Then dip those rice papers one by one into the green tea for about 1minute and when it is soft put it on the face.  Don't wait too long or you will end up tearing up the whole rice paper just like I did.

Please do not wrinkle up like I did .  *I forgot*.






The rice paper mask would stick to the face like glue so it is hard to adjust one you put on the face.    Don't smile or it will wrinkle up like me =(  .  Remove it when it is about 15minutes or when it is drying up and peeling down.

Generally, it is cheaper than using the paper masks we have in the shops but we have to make our own essence so pick your own 'essence' that you would like to put into it.  I saw some put in a drop of essential oil into the bowl along with green tea for extra properties. Actually, it is up to you.

It helps with cooling my face and since it is so cheap, I can just use it everyday without making a hole inside my wallet. =)  As for the question does it help with whitening and moisturising, it does if you use it everyday for a month.  Don't expect miracle with do- it-yourself   XP  .

About the question is the same as the hydrogel masks, the texture of the mask feels the same and the 'liquid' of what you put into the rice papers is the one determining how effective the rice paper masks will be to the skin.  I have not use 100 hydrogel masks to tell you if there is any huge different between man made hydrogel masks and this rice paper gel masks yet.  I can just say it is not bad for natural DIY cheap masks and it doesn't break me out.

It has been some time since I always check if there are samples given out to try.  This is one of the samples that I find many would like because there is a Cetaphil gentle cleanser and also this Cetaphil UVA/UVB defense sunblock.

I already review the Cetaphil cleanser which I used for years until I found another favourite.
This Cetaphil UVA/UVB comes in a fluid white cream.  The texture is very light and it disappeared upon application into a transparent base.  My face is not oily nor looking matte.  There is no smell lingering on my face too which I like since I don't like heavy feeling of sunblock.  It doesn't clogged up my pores so that is good enough for wanting to buy it again

I think the high protection is good as my face was not burnt when I was using it.  I could say this is probably dupe for the high end La Roche Posay which is twice the price of this.

There are many different types of chairs – suitable for many different reasons. Okay, so chairs are for one reason and one reason only . . . to sit on. But what you do while you’re sitting on them affects the design of a chair, where it will be used, how it will be used, how long you will be sitting on it . . . all of these things make a big difference.

Let’s take a light hearted look at some of the many different types of chairs.

Arm Chairs – found in front of millions of televisions across the country. There are many different sizes and styles of armchair, they are available in a wide variety of colors and fabrics but basically they are designed to provide the maximum comfort while sitting by the fire on a cold winter’s night watching the television or reading a book. Armchairs are made for relaxing!



Bar Stools – a totally different concept, the bar stool is designed for sitting at a bar while indulging in your favorite tipple, or sitting in the kitchen while eating breakfast. They are tall enough for you to reach a bar comfortably, don’t generally have a back and sometimes even swivel around. Bar stools are made for perching!

Bath Chair – this is a specific type of chair for people who may experience difficulty getting in and out of the bath from the sitting position down low. They are designed to be sat on in the bath, in the water and don’t mind getting wet one bit. Bath chairs are made for bathing!

Beach Chair – these are lightweight, portable chairs which you can fold up, tuck beneath your arm and pop into the trunk of the car, then carry it onto the sand along with a picnic, a bucket and a space. Beach chairs are also useful in the garden or in the park, they are simply lightweight, portable chairs which can be used anywhere and everywhere.

Salon Chair – there are at least two basic types of salon chairs . There are the “lie back and have your hair washed” salon chairs which are designed to provide the maximum comfort while the client enjoys a head massage and countless questions about where they took their vacation the previous summer, and the chair where the client will actually sit while the hair stylist works their magic. Some of these chairs can be made higher or lower for the maximum comfort of the stylist, most have some sort of footrest to stop the client from fidgeting and they are generally made from leather type materials which are easy to clean and the hair won’t stick to.  The Salon Outlet has a good choice of salon chairs to choose from.

Office Chair – there are also various office chairs. Let’s focus on the original “typists chair” although typists have largely been replaced by “computer operators”. The Klairs sheet mask has a soft texture and doesn’t drip as the thickness is just nice. It is not too thick or thin. I think this is the mask that fit my small face because the fit is just nice because I don’t like mask to cover my hair when I am masking. There is extra essence in the mask and I could just use that to cover my hands and neck.

TUTORIAL ON EASY FRENCH NAILS WITH MASKING TAPE

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying your shopping since it is Sale seasons and Christmas is coming soon.  Anyway, here is just a simple tutorial on red and white French manicure.

It is actually easy to do French manicure with a little trick.  Here is what you need.

Masking tape/scotch tape (avoid cellotapes or those tape for surgery)

Scissors

Nail polishes

Nail polish remover

Cotton buds

1. Clean your nails.

2.  Paint your nails with the color that you want
3. Cut the masking tape and stick it on the nails. Adjust the amount of thickness. Paint the white/second layer on it.
4. Remove the masking tape when dried.




It is easy to do it with nail polish that is quite fluid compare to thick nail polish. You don’t even need good skills or uneven French manicure on the other hands which always happens to me. =)
