KLUANG RAIL COFFEE OUTLET

Since 1938, this Kluang rail coffee is very famous.


Ermm, I did not know that the Kluang rail coffee has another outlet. In my mind, it must be some very looking ancient depleted going to fall apart look kind of traditional shop so I do not expect that it is looking like this?


I am way too imaginative. Although it was a working day, this outlet is full with people and we have to wait for about 15minutes before being served. I have no idea what is wrong with me ordering nasi lemak. The waiting hour for my nasi lemak was 45minutes and I was already imagining strangling the waiter and shaking the sense into her! If she is playing the Dinner Dash, I would have left ago with a huge red face and fuming cloud over my head.

It is impossible that the next table with more complicated food has arrived and all my other friends’s food has arrived except for mine!


What is so difficult to make the nasi lemak??????? Does it really 45minutes for it to arrive? That is only after I started asking where my food is and the waiter nonchalant ask to check the receipt! How can my food not arrive when it is already paid????? Luckily a friend deals with it.


That is why I dislike eating outside. For the amount I paid, my food has not arrived. If not for the company I am, I might have left. I guess food does taste better when you are laughing and enjoyed the people you are with.

Let’s go into the food. Here is some of the food but mine is only the rail coffee cendol and the nasi lemak. The rest is ordered by friends so I have no idea how they tasted.

This their famous A must try Bread. Presentation wise, it look a little bit flatten and very traditional.  The bread is a little dry but quite good in the sense that it is fluffy.  The bread is already applied with generous butter.  The kaya texture is just nice and not too thick but there is not much although you might there is a lot since there is some outside the bread.  Kaya is not as fragrant as I thought it will be but it is okay.

This is the tea cendol. The drink is not too sweet and the cendol has pandan fragrant in it. The tea on the other hand is just normal so I was actually blaming myself that I should have tried the coffee instead.

This is the rail nasi lemak that has made imagined bad thoughts. Because of it as well, I managed to control myself and snapped the photos first before I get into eating mode. Normally I will just forget everything when the food is in front of me. The chicken is grilled just nice. The meat is is quite soft but it could be softer I think. The sambal spiciness is just nice but for those who dislikes spiciness, it is better not to order this. It is not hot to the extend that one have to drink few gallons of water. I think the spiciness level is probably just 2 out of 5. Rice is not bad. Anchovies and groundnuts is generous. Overall it is not bad.


I guess I am always the unlucky ones to get bad service each time I am in the restaurants.

TRAVEL: HOW TO COME TO TIOMAN ISLAND VIA PUBLIC TRANSPORT? (PART 1)

I have been staying in Mersing for some time and sorry to say that every time I was about to go to Tioman Island, something will happen.  So, I don't really know when I will have the chance to go to Tioman Island.

This is the post that I have been holding for almost ancient now because of my procrastination too and since I need to venture out a little from just writing about beauty all the time.

Everyone has been telling me how beautiful Tioman Island is and nobody knows where is Mersing town but when I mentioned about Tioman Island, everybody knows it.  So ramble aside, I will break the post into many posts since there is quite a lot to write about since one post is not enough.


First, I would suggest not to take night bus to this town-Mersing because the Mersing bus station will empty and it is dangerous.  The only thing you will see will probably be stray cats.  Even if you decide to take the night bus from TBS(Bandar Tasik Selatan station) Kuala Lumpur, one will probably reach at around 3am in the morning and so there are only 3 places that you could wait until the sun rises.  Well, you could look for hotels but it won't be worth the money since normal check in is about 1pm.  No taxi service here so you will have to rely on your two legs to walk from one end to another end.

From TBS (bandar Tasik Selatan) , there are three companies that offer bus to Mersing-Transnational, S&S International and another one which I wouldn't suggest to take.  Expect 7 to 8hours by bus unless the bus driver is driving like a Formula1 driver in car race.  The buses will stop few times so do not get down until you have reach Mersing bus station.


S&S International link to check the price, number of seats available and date that you are going.  Please put Kuala Lumpur TBS as there are two main bus stations in Kuala Lumpur.  All the bus that goes to the south is in TBS while buses to the North operated at Pudu.  Personally, I dislike service at Pudu because of so many bad experiences I had.


Transnational link to check the price, number of seats available and date.  Please put in Kuala Lumpur.  I prefer to take the earlier bus at 9am so that I will reach in the afternoon.  Carry some food with you as I do not like the place where they stop for a break.  Food is too expensive and with flies flying around.

From Johor Bahru or the bus station larkin, there are the causewaylink and also S&S International.  I always take Causeway because the trips are more frequents and faster.  It takes about 2hours to reach if it is Causeway buses.  Others takes 3hours.

KFC is the place you should use as your direction. On the left of the photos there is a pathway.follow it

further up the road to the KFC-look for this

Then look for KFC.  That is where all the hotels and other amenities are.  If the 'sea'(where all the ships are parking)  is behind you, then take the left road.  You could see the KFC further ahead.  There is actually understructure pathway on the left side of the photo but it is not in the photos. You could follow the pathway.

 The right road lead to the Pasaraya Kini- a local supermarket.

If you don't see KFC after walking for 10minutes(walk very slow) then you are probably lost.  If you see Timotel Hotel, then for sure you are lost.

Lastly,

DO NOT COME TO TIOMAN ISLAND AT THE END OF THE YEAR!THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE!  DO NOT COME ALONE!

01 In Love

01 In love is nude light orange.  I would suggest one to use this as the lip concealer as it would works great to compliment other colour.

02 Blooming

I love this colour the most since it is bright cherry pink as it compliments my complexion without looking too obvious.  I am just into bright colour this and this makes me look cheerful too.

03 Blissful

03 Blissful is orange pink which is a everyday colour that will suit most people.  It gave one a hint of colours without being too obvious.  This is a colour that is suitable for most people regardless of age.

04 Sexy

I think it is most suitable for vampire kind of makeup especially for Halloween or Snow White's red lips.  This is certainly a colour that all women should have in their lipstick collection.  Among all the colours, I find this is the one lasted through the day on my lips.

The lipgloss is very pigmented and waterproof. It won't budged even when I rub it off my lips with tissues.


Personally, I find that all the lip colours are very long lasting and the colour sure did not fade one bit by the end of the day. I don't need to retouch the lipstick colour the whole day if you are just drinking since it doesn't transfer to glass. The colour doesn't stain the cup so do not need to worry about the stains or eating the lipgloss into our stomach. The colour only disappear a little after eating. There are also variety of the colour so I am sure that you would find the colour that you like. Besides, the colour is sure very bright, pigmented and I love them very much. This is sure handy when you are looking for long lasting lip colours since these lip colours are very pigmented and on a budget.


It is only RM25 and I think the price is much lower than most long lasting lipgloss, stain and lipstick.



Tips:Make sure that you apply it on a dry lips or else the stain resistant feature wouldn't work. One thing about stain proof makeup is cleaning it so I would suggest to use oil based makeup remover or petroleum jelly. Normal cleanser might not be able to clean it.

Rosemary and lime shampoo smell lovely.  It just feel like I am washing my hair with real rosemary herbs and lime that is just enjoyable.  I love natural smelling shampoo.  The smell doesn't last long but it is okay because I will be a little worry in case someone said I smell like cooking ingredients.  The rosemary shampoo makes my hair clean minus the dry feeling.  The shampoo lathered up quite well and the liquid is not too watery so I certainly find it easy to wash my with.


Argan and Vanilla hair conditioner smells so much like the vanilla ice cream that I just feel like eating it!  It really do smell like food. It is so creamy that my hair is also left to be so soft even with the first time of usage.  It doesn't made my oily but just smell nice like Vanilla ice cream.  If you are a person who loves vanilla ice cream like me, you will definitely like this.  There is not oily feeling or grease left over after the rinse.  It is sure much better than my expectation.  I am so much in love with this conditioner.

The oil smell just like sunflower oil and it is a little yellowish so there is nothing special about it.  The uniqueness of this oil lies in the texture.  The oil absorb into the skin fast leaving no trace of oil on the skin. It has the texture of essence which is runny and watery.  No sticky feeling afterwards. So, it is good for those who dislike oily feeling.  On the hair, it will make the hair soft and tame down all those hairs.  You could use it to protect the hair from hair dryer.

My lips is so dry that it is full with cracks and applying this help reduces the condition.

I tried it on my eyes area and it doesn't cause oil of anything of that sort.  Instead it help with the fine lines I have around my eyes.=) I like to use to the sunflower oil to moisturise my lips at night instead of petroleum jelly.  It works the same as petroleum jelly.  No greasy feeling or weird taste for sure.

You could use it as body oil since it is doesn't make your skin greasy.  Very good to moisturise the skin.  One bottle could last you very long and the price is sure affordable.  This Human Nature sunflower beauty oil is different from the cooking sunflower oil.
