Double cleansing has become an important beauty trend to prevent skin problems.  Among first cleansing products is cleansing water.  Cleansing once is a popular choice for people to remove makeup and for those who dislike oil cleanser.

Today is a review on a Korean cleansing water,  Kicho Water Recipe Cleansing Water.   I previously had reviewed about Kicho Sheep Oil cream which I love.

How to use: Gently remove your makeup after soaking cotton balls with the cleansing water.

When you remove your eye or lip point makeup, gently apply the cotton balls on designated areas rather than rubbing.

You don’t need to wash your face with water, but if there are residues, just wash it with water once again.

Kicho Water Recipe Cleansing Water comes in a really cute bottle. The screw lid makes it easy to dispense products and for travelling.  It will avoid chance of the water product spilling inside your bag which is a really thoughtful.

Kicho Water Recipe Cleansing Water smells like some citrus lemon with hint of salt.  Not a bad smell but if you hate then, you probably won't like this.  I do like this Kicho Water Recipe Cleansing Water is a good cleansing water because it remove my makeup even waterproof effortless with no over residue.

Overall, I would recommend Kicho Water Recipe Cleansing Water as a good first cleanser, can't use oil cleanser, any skin type especially sensitive type, no excess to water or can't move around much and for travelling.

Once in a while, I came across a brand that doesn't have reviews in English and not much is known since it is not a popularize brand.  I have seen people from Hong Kong mentioned about the KYL广源良 toner but then not much is know because everything is written in Chinese.  They are really famous for their Luffa cooling toner in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Chinese medicinal beauty products sure do pique my interest since more people are into natural products.  Sometimes, I want some ready made products so when I saw KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder, I know I just have to try this mask with medicinal ingredient in it.

KYL produces skincare products based on a few ingredients and it is the same for this mask.  It is for someone looking for skincare products that is basically plants and has no animals products. Their other products also doesn't contain any animal ingredients.

This mask is in form of sachets which is great.  Just add their toner, plain water or liquid of your choice into the light green powder and make it into a paste.  Then apply it to the face.  Application is easy.  The mask has those herbal or those woody smell that I do like since it is reminds me of herbal soup.  The mask is supposed to help cool down and clean the face.  It does help to reduce the amount of acne and brighten up my face after using the third packet. It is gentle as it doesn't irritate my skin or clogged my skin even when I accidentally slept with it.

KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder  doesn't dry or oil up my face which is great since I can use it everyday without any guilt.  Green beans has the effect of clay which is to clean up the skin and it is use in Chinese traditional beauty regime. Barley and Chamomile is to cool down the skin 'heat' which normally happened with acne prone skin.  I mean if you believe those 'cold' and 'heat' stuff in traditional Asian medicine.

I think KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder which is great for some lazy to get all the ingredients and mix it up our self.  Besides, it is already in sterile form you can just add in some liquid to make a paste.  I use mineral water, green tea water or my Primera Organience Water. It is really smooth and application is just a breeze.  You do have to wash it off or your face will feel crusty if it is left too long on the face.

What interest me about KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder is that the added Angelica Dahurica which helps with skin metabolism, lighten skin which is used by Empress Dowager Cixi as her secret beauty recipe of Yu Rong San.  Angelica Dahurica is use for treating acne, blackhead, and pimples.


Overall, KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder is a gentle cleansing wash off mask for any skin type especially acne prone, love plant based ingredients, like traditional medicinal mask and do not mind doing a little DIY fun. After all,  it is really very affordable and is able to reduce the inflammation on my 'heat up' skin.  Results really depends on how often you use this mask.

Fermented skincare products has been the 2016 trend for their benefits and botanical ability to heal the skin gentle and for those that are afraid of adventurous products such as snails.  It is a favourite anti ageing ingredients for all ages.

The bottle is made from transparent heavy glass so be careful. I like the dropper since I can control the amount of essence use and it does feel like medicinal bottle XD.  Use up the products within 6 months.

I do like that the Manyo Factory Galactomyces Niacin has simple short ingredients and the ingredients are plant based.  Still do check the ingredients list provided.  97% of the ingredients consists of yeast rice fungus Galactomyces extract so it is really high in fermented ingredient.  It is best to put inside the fridge since I don't see any preservatives in it.  I didn't but it still works > < . Please do not take the risk like I do.

Manyo Factory does made feasible claims that 10 days of improve skin tone, 20 days of removing skin troubles and 30 days of skin brightening.  I think it is a good thing so that we can be more realistic of what the product can do instead of expecting instant results.  You do need to be patient as I can only see results starting from the second weeks of usage.

I am going to be honest that this Manyo Factory Galactomyces Niacin is a great fermented essence with great ingredients in it that it does help and reduce the severity of my acne. I have allergic to milk but just can't stop myself so I still break outs but it was not that bad when I am using this niacin essence.  It does improve my skin texture and my pores looks smaller because of the hydration.  So, I think it would be thoughtful for me to not expect this to get rid of severe acne problem.  This helps to reduce the severity, hydrates the skin but you will need to use a spot treatment if you have more than mild acne.  Please do not rely it on just this product alone to get rid of acne.

It doesn't have any added fragrance so it smells much like plasticky but the smells disappeared quickly into the skin.  The transparent essence absorbs into my skin fast and doesn't leave anything behind so I can follow it up with other skincare products.  It does improve the skin texture, calm and heal the acne on my jaw and brighten my skin.  It is a good product to have in conjunction with other acne products.

Overall, Manyo Factory Galactomyces Niacin will be suitable for skin that love fermented Galactomyces, niacinamide for the brightening, light hydration, gentle, damaged red skin and loves plant products. Even oily skin will like as it is really light =).

First, let's talk about the packaging.  The box is really pretty it has pictures of parsley, cucumber, tomatoes and green colour writings. The box main colour is green.  The jar of cleansing cream is also green with beautiful picture of vegetables.  The huge jar of 200 ml can last 30 months after opening.

Cleansing cream first ingredients is mineral oil and the second ingredients is water.  It is the unique thing about cleansing cream.  Cleansing cream is a cleansing product that similar with cleansing balm and cleansing oil.  It has the texture of cream and the ability of cleansing oil.  So, gentler than soap and lighter than cleansing balm.

Other ingredients in this Lafine vegetable deep cleansing cream are from plants such as papaya, cucumber, tomatoes, parsley, Baical skullcap(Huang Qin) vitamin C, vitamin E and some silicone. Do check out the ingredients for potential allergen since mine is not the same as yours =X.

It comes with spatula so that you can scoop the product out.  The cream is like a soft ice cream texture with tiny green and red granules.  It goes on the skin smoothly. Massage until the granules melted.  Then use water to emulsify the cream cleanser.  It does remove makeup except for hardcore eyeliner.  The cream is able to remove the residue of if i go over it the second time and with a cotton pad.   Make sure to use a second cleanser to remove the residue or else you will feel a film left on the skin.  The cleanser does clean my skin well, doesn't irritate as a first cleanser.

The Lafine Vegetable deep cleansing cream smells of apple which is really nice and makes the cleansing experience enjoyable.

Overall, cleansing power is medium, soft cleanser for dry skin type and has vegetables ingredients in it.  I do like it for the soft texture non irritating cleanser.

"No, I didn't kill Mary the sheep for the cream on my face. T_T  Don't put me in the jail!"

Lucky, there is no sheep kill for this Kicho sheep oil cream else I will feel guilty for using them.

Kicho Sheep Oil Cream is made from lanolin.  Lanolin is a fatty substance found naturally in sheep's wool.  It is yellowish viscously thick wax that can be made into other products.  So, there is NO sheep are killed to make beauty products.

High pure grades of lanolin produced by complex purification techniques suits sensitive skin such as eczema and be made into nipple cream.

One of the secret makeup artist tips is to use nipple cream which is actually lanolin.  Now, you do not have to use the sticky stuff on your face.  This Kicho Sheep Oil cream is the same minus the sticky uncomfortable feeling.

There is a cardboard box which is beautifully decorated which is really beautiful.  It is not easy to take out the cardboard box.  The jar has a very beautiful aluminum embossed with the name of the product and the design > <.  It is a glass jar so be careful in handling it.  There are instructions in English and details about the product in English.  The ingredients are in Hangyul though.

The cream has really good ingredients and is free from T.E.A, artificial scents, mineral oil, isopropyl alcohol, paraben, urea, heavy metals and formaldehyde. However, do check the ingredients because there are many plants extract, beeswax, silicone, shea butter and oils.

If you do have any problems with ingredients list, then this is a really good moisturiser since it has a lot of moisturising ingredients such as ceramide, hyaluronic acid, plant oils and shea butter. The cream smells of lemon mix together with chlorine which I can only tolerate because the smells disappeared after 10 minutes.  The yellowish cream is soft and application of the cream is so easy.  It is not sticky and feels really light on my skin.  In fact, my skin is so soft that I feel like touching it every second XD .  The moisture lasted on my skin even hours after application which is really good since I don't want to be applying moisturiser every few hours.

The cream soothe my skin and prevent it from moisture loss which is great since I use it at night as a night cream.  According to research, lanolin is superior to petrolatum reducing dryness, scaling, cracks, roughness, abrasions, pain and itch.  This is sure for me because application of pure petroleum jelly will just clog my pores.  Besides, it has the nearest composition as the human stratum corneum lipids which is essential to bind water to the skin.  It is also makes a great primer for makeup.

Overall, I will recommend this to dry, aging skin type, damaged skin barrier or during winter where moisture get lost easily. Not recommend if your skin is clogged prone to the ingredients in the list.
