Once in a while, I came across a brand that doesn't have reviews in English and not much is known since it is not a popularize brand.  I have seen people from Hong Kong mentioned about the KYL广源良 toner but then not much is know because everything is written in Chinese.  They are really famous for their Luffa cooling toner in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Chinese medicinal beauty products sure do pique my interest since more people are into natural products.  Sometimes, I want some ready made products so when I saw KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder, I know I just have to try this mask with medicinal ingredient in it.

KYL produces skincare products based on a few ingredients and it is the same for this mask.  It is for someone looking for skincare products that is basically plants and has no animals products. Their other products also doesn't contain any animal ingredients.

This mask is in form of sachets which is great.  Just add their toner, plain water or liquid of your choice into the light green powder and make it into a paste.  Then apply it to the face.  Application is easy.  The mask has those herbal or those woody smell that I do like since it is reminds me of herbal soup.  The mask is supposed to help cool down and clean the face.  It does help to reduce the amount of acne and brighten up my face after using the third packet. It is gentle as it doesn't irritate my skin or clogged my skin even when I accidentally slept with it.

KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder  doesn't dry or oil up my face which is great since I can use it everyday without any guilt.  Green beans has the effect of clay which is to clean up the skin and it is use in Chinese traditional beauty regime. Barley and Chamomile is to cool down the skin 'heat' which normally happened with acne prone skin.  I mean if you believe those 'cold' and 'heat' stuff in traditional Asian medicine.

I think KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder which is great for some lazy to get all the ingredients and mix it up our self.  Besides, it is already in sterile form you can just add in some liquid to make a paste.  I use mineral water, green tea water or my Primera Organience Water. It is really smooth and application is just a breeze.  You do have to wash it off or your face will feel crusty if it is left too long on the face.

What interest me about KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder is that the added Angelica Dahurica which helps with skin metabolism, lighten skin which is used by Empress Dowager Cixi as her secret beauty recipe of Yu Rong San.  Angelica Dahurica is use for treating acne, blackhead, and pimples.


Overall, KYL广源良 Chamomile & Green Beans Powder is a gentle cleansing wash off mask for any skin type especially acne prone, love plant based ingredients, like traditional medicinal mask and do not mind doing a little DIY fun. After all,  it is really very affordable and is able to reduce the inflammation on my 'heat up' skin.  Results really depends on how often you use this mask.

This is the look of the mask after it dried up.

The sheet mask itself is black.  The sheet is of thin, soft, plush and adhere to the face without sliding around. The viscous clear essence has a light floral scent to it.  The essence doesn't drip onto my neck which is good.  The sheet mask is cooling on my face even when I do not put inside the fridge which is really good because of the hot humid weather here.  It does fit my face well but the sheet mask size is made for smaller face.  I wore the mask for 30 minutes without the silicone mask and it is still wet when I removed it.  The essence does dry quite fast after I removed it.  The black sheet mask doesn't leave residue of black stuff on my face which is great.

The mask does calm my face and makes my skin more bright.  Please excuse my lines and my eyebags.  The effect is better if used continuously.
There description of their top ingredients on the box are useful since the ingredients in this mask are the three top ingredients on the ingredients list.

Kaolin are for cleansing the pores, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract (Organic) for balancing moisture level and Leontopodium Alpinum Extract (Organic) for repairing dry skin.  Arbutin which is the fourth ingredient is for whitening.  Since it contains hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), it helps to plump up the skin.  It is quite low in the list but still do look into the ingredients.

Overall, I will get this mask again because it is really affordable and the ingredients are great.  It is an interesting black mask for cleansing the pores, whitening and for moisturising the skin. If you have dry skin but still wanted something with kaolin to help clean the skin, then do look into this mask.  Just wear this when no one is around or else you might just scared someone. XD

When you want to feel like a royalty, try out L'HERBOFLORE masks.  Their beautiful packaging will makes you feel pampered like one.

L'herboflore rose water refining hydromask is one of their best seller and my first impression is their fancy artful sheet masks. XD

Lucky there is no witch hazel in it because my face doesn't like rose blended in with witch hazel.  I am fine using the ingredients on its own but not together.

It has watery essence which smell absolutely like rose.  There is slight sheen of oil which doesn't feel heavy and if you love the smell of rose, you will enjoy this mask for sure.

This mask has a really good fit on my face because there are 5 slits that I can use it to do adjustment on my face.  The mask has a good adherence and doesn't slip off my face.  The sheet mask is thin but holds well to the essence so that it doesn't rip onto my neck.  It doesn't irritate my face or clogged my pores but still do check the ingredients for potential allergy because you might have different triggers than mine.

Overall, my face does look hydrated, moisturise, calmer and brighter.  I do enjoy and bath in the smell of roses throughout the process.

Today is a review on this L'herboflore black Cherry and Tranexamic Acid Whitening Eye mask which makes you look like a nymph with a butterfly on the face.

The sheet mask has the cut of a butterfly which is beautiful XD. It has clear essence which smells really mild.  I can hardly smell it which is nice  The sheet mask is thin and adhere well to eyes area.  I left it on my eyes for about 15 minutes. L'herboflore Black Cherry + Tranexamic Acid Whitening Eye Mask doesn't irritate my eyes are but you still need to check the ingredients.

The essence absorb into my skin with not stickiness, does hydrate my eyes' area and lightly brighten it up.  Too bad, nothing could be done about my genetic eye bags and I guess I need more than just eye mask.  Overall, I think it is decent sheet mask for your butterfly area since it is cute and the butterfly mask is quite big for the whole lower face.

L`HERBOFLORE Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Energy Biocellulose Mask is in the clinic version along with other bio cellulose which for skin after procedure such as laser to hydrate and cool down the face.  These are really gentle on the skin since the mask sheet is made from fermented coconut water XD.

My forehead has this irritation which I have no idea where I got.  I guess using this sheet mask can show how it works on my face.

There is a lot of essence inside the sheet mask which is enough for another application or all over your neck and your body XD.  The clear essence has a light floral scent which is nice.  Since it is made from fermented coconut which easily torn, there is two protective layer-one white pearl plastic and the second blue mesh paper.

The fit is actually great.  It doesn't look like that on photo because my chin doesn't typical fit any sheet mask XD and that is why I cut it with a pair of scissors.  The bio cellulose sheet adheres to my face like second skin and doesn't budge even if I sit upright.  It does feel like a thin piece of dry jelly when I touch the mask but my skin is keep moist inside XD .  After 45minutes, the sheet mask will reduce the thickness and it becomes like a piece of dried up plastic so don't leave it on the face for too long.

My face feels cool throughout the 45minutes of having the mask on face.  I find the process really relaxing since the weather is so warm even when it is at night.  The sheet mask cools down the irritation of my face since it contains Aloe vera, ceramide and Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract.

The sheet mask does help with acne and also the irritation that I have. It doesn't worsen it but helps to reduce the redness.

Overall a great mask to have after procedures or for emergency first aid for the skin.  I think it does work great on my combination acne prone skin =) .
However do still check the ingredients that you are allergic to be safe.

Many celebrities attest their flawless skin to using sheet masks everyday.  While we do not have such fat wallet to be sheet masking daily, using sheet masks few times in a week does make us feel pampered and destress.

A hydrated and calm face is surely a good base for makeup.

Today, I am reviewing a popular gel sheet mask from Japan.  I also see this in the Cosme japan rank as one of the best sheet mask for dry sensitive skin.  Minon Amino Moist Mask.  Minon is also really famous for products for sensitive skin since they do not have fragrance in them.

Minon Amino Moist mask is made from the cotton mask which is thin, mesh-like, hug the skin and doesn't budge once you place it on the skin.  The mask fit is suitable even for those with bigger face than I do so I think that is great.  It doesn't fall off my face even when I sit upright .  It has a transparent jelly-gel essence instead the usual watery essence making this a sheet- mask-in-gel-essence.  There are enough gel essence in the sheet mask.

I wore it for about 30minutes and the moisture do last on my face and it better than traditional paper sheet mask.  It is recommended that you apply your toner, essence and serum for it to get absorb into the skin with the help of this mask.  It does feel cooling, comfortable and no irritation my skin.  The gel mask is like a sleeping mask and makes my skin hydrated until the next morning.

There is no added fragrance and I really can't smell anything from the mask.  I can understand why dry&sensitive skin will like it because it does hydrate, cool and reduce the redness on the skin after the usage.  It is also a great mask for those doesn't fancy hydrogel but wanting something with gel.

This mask is sure something luxurious and meant for special occasion because I will surely be broke if I use it daily. XP
