Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner

Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner has a pH level of 5.5 to effectively balance your skin. Peony extract, licorice water 10% , Cimicifuga, Green tea extract and Arrowroot- to calm skin skin, add luminosity, helps calm and reduce pigmentation, including acne scars and dark spots. After use, skin feels clean and smooth.  It is for balancing and removing any impurities left on the skin after cleansing to help with the rest of the products in your routine absorb better.

How to use:
Pour a moderate amount onto a cotton pad and wipe across the face along skin texture.

Packaging: No box.  The dark plastic bottle has information in English and Hangul.  The opening is just right for dispensing the toner 

Ingredients talk: 

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free and reef safe

not fungal-acne safe (malassezia). The ingredient being Peg-7 Glyceryl Cocoate .

There is oil and fragrance in Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil. 

It is a water based toner with main plant ingredient as Licorice.  

Licorice is popular for soothing effect and reduce inflammation on skin. Glycyrrhizin can reduce redness, irritation and swelling on sensitive skin type.

Rheum Palmatum, guava leaf&Camellia Sinensis are for hydrating skin and healing.

Rosa Hybrid, Perilla, Poncirus Trifoliata&Citrus Aurantium Bergamia are antiseptic, astringent and anti-inflammatory.

Texture: Brownish light watery liquid that absorbs without any stickiness. It has herbal floral scent which disappeared once dries down.

Review: The licorice water 10% and other plant ingredients has a nice calming scent on me.  It has pH5.5 which is good for sensitive skin or for those living with hard water or using cleanser with higher pH.  I use it with cotton pad and find that it is hydrating, calming, doesn't clogged my pores, lessen breakouts and makes my pores look smaller.  It lightly exfoliates my skin without irritation and gentle for everyday usage.

Overall: A gentle Korean traditional herbs for soft, hydratng, smooth skin for any skin type.

Do you have straight short eyelashes? Had the eyelash curler accidentally 'pinch' your eyelid too because you just tried to get it as close as possible to your eyelids?

Yes, I gave up on using most of those eyelash curler that just pinched my eyelids instead of my eyelashes until this Shu Uemura.  

There is this method that the Korean makeup artists use but I don't want to accidentally burn my eyelashes off from my lack of skill.

Packaging: It comes in a simple box with instruction in English and Japanese.  I like it since most people will wonder how to use it.

Product Dimensions 2.4 x 1 x 4 inches

Weight:  5.92 Ounces

It has comfortable silicone so that it doesn't hurt the eyelids.  I also like the dimension that works with any type of eye shape and eyelashes length.

Review:  It is easy to carry and just great for curling my short eyelashes.  I can even reach short eyelashes and curler them up.  I get why this is a best seller and love by makeup artists.

After trying other curlers I think I am just going to settle for this one.  It ia actually very affordable for being such high quality.

Overall: I highly recommend this eyelash curler for those with hooded eyelids and short eyelashes.  It works well to curl my eyelashes without hurting my eyelids.  The dimension works for every type of eyes.

Packaging: It comes without a box which is good.  Transparent plastic jar with screwed lid comes with a plastic tweezer for easy hygienic way of taking the cotton pads.

Ingredients&texture: The cotton pads are unbleached so that is the natural colour which is slightly brownish and not pure white.  Both side are the same which is smooth and soft.  For DIY mask, peel cotton pads into two. 

Review: It is a very thoughtful idea so that we can DIY our mask for face to focus on certain ingredients or use it with exfoliating toner to gentle.  It is also gentle, comfortable and provides light exfoliation on the skin.  Using this cotton pads to swipe the skin with a gentle toner is good for a lasting long makeup on the skin.

Overall: A nice unbleached cotton pads that is good for travelling, DIY or before makeup.

Review:  The watery liquid absorbs into the skin without any stickiness or residue.  It works great under makeup.  It does make my pores look smaller, skin smooth and bouncy.  It doesn't break me out or cause me clogged pores.  Do make sure to use moisturiser or make sure that the air is humid when using hyaluronic acid or else it will 'take' water from the nearest place which is your skin.

Overall: A nice gentle ampoule for any skin type for smooth bouncy skin.

It is a water based sheet mask for soothing, oil&water balance improvement.

The BHA WillowBark Extract, tea tree extract and tea tree leaf oil are good for combination acne prone skin.

Other plants ingredients such as centella asiatica, heartleaf, chammomile, rosemary, lemongrass, Indian frankincense and Vitamin E is good for antioxidant, anti acne, anti inflammatory and soothing.

Vitamin E is good for antioxidant and keep the skin 

The rest the ingredients are for hydration, texture, stabliser and preservatives. 

Texture: The thin sheet mask is soft and fit my face very well.  The new fit has the forehead length increased and cheeks reduce in length.  

The watery liquid absorbs into my skin well without stickness. I could wear it for 25minutes before it starts drying up.  It has faint scent of tea tree that does disappeared after I removed the mask.

Review: It is calming, soothing and hydrating on my combination acne prone skin.  I find that it reduces the breakouts and reduce the size of pimples on my face.  I also enjoy that this sheet mask reduces redness, balance up my skin, reduce oiliness of my face and I do like that it also brighten up my skin. 

Overall: A gentle effective gentle tea tree sheet mask for acne prone combination skin.
