Probiotics has really became really popular in skincare products.  So while I was searching for affordable probiotics, I came to this Korean ampoule.

So here is a review on MediFlower Mugwort Ampoule from Korea.

I will be honest that I got this ampoule because of the glowing review in YesStyle, the glass bottle, 50ml bottle of mugwort, contains probiotics, fungal safe ingredients and that the ingredients just look so interesting.  I was about to get something that is 100% more the price of this ampoule but my cheapo self just feel that I need to try this because if it doesn't work I have nothing to lose because "Hey, it is cheap".

I am so glad that I bought this because it actually do works on my acne prone skin and is fungal safe.

It does contains probiotics and ferments that are safe for fungal acne.

There are niacinamide for oil controlling and brightening. the mugwort is nice to soothe sensitive skin. Panthenol is also really good for soothing and hydrate the skin.

Texture: It is transparent slightly viscose liquid that absorbs really well into my skin.  It has faint herbal scent that is not overpowering which doesn't linger on the skin.

Review: It doesn't irritate my acne prone skin.  The texture absorbs well into my skin and it is hydrating to use it on its own during the day. It does helps with the pigmentation after acne, reduce severity of my acne and reduce redness.  I use it during the day and also at night.  I use the whole dropper each time.  I do think it is great item to have.  After using it for 3weeks I find that it does control the oil on my T-zone.  My T-zone areas has less oil production.  I do think it does it what it does and is a affordable good serum for that price.  I don't get any irritation from the fragrance but then it is not listed if the fragrance is from natural resources or added synthetic fragrance.

Overall: I think it is a good fungal safe mugwort ampoule to have for hydration, reducing redness and brightening. I would recomend because of the price and also the effect that it provides on my skin.

The rest the ingredients are for anti aging, hydration, pH adjusting, preservatives, masking, buffering Agent and texture.

I do like the ingredients with a lot of nice plants oils that helps with moisturising the skin and brighten the skin.  

I think the most interesting is the hemp oil Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil in this bottle which is rarely found in AB product. Not it doesn't make you hallucinate.

Niacinamide is good for those looking for brightening and controlling oil production.

I probably just don't really like the fragrance in this bottle and it will be great if it is removed.

Texture and scent: This is a Bi Phase serum with oil and watery essence together.  Just shake it to mix it before usage.  The serum is transparent oil that has the scent of synthetic lemon or floral jasmine (the kind you find in dishwasher liquid).  It is actually very much lighter than the Nacific fresh herbs origin.

Review:  I use about 3 drops on my combination skin once a day at night.  The serum oil does absorbed fast into the skin making the skin hydrated and slightly dewy.  If your skin is dry, it immediately absorbs with no trace of oiliness or stickiness. It keeps my skin hydrated and moist.  It doesn't get rid of acne since it is not made for that.  I can't use it where I have fungal acne since it does feed those.

On my body, it is a really great moisturiser.  It just absorbs onto my skin without any stickness and make my skin soft and silky.

Overall: It is a good very affordable skincare oil to look at provided that you don't have problem with fungal acne, have dry skin type, no allergic with the oil or the fragrance.

This product, NACIFIC Fresh Herb Origin Serum got me after I see so many wonderful reviews about it working for acne prone skin, anti ageing and used by Jun Ji Hyun actress.

The brand name was actually Natural Pacific but then became NACIFIC.  So here is my review on this product that was named as 'damm serum' because of the pain it will cause if you have skin problems.  This bottle is the new reformulation so not sure about the ability compared with the older version.

Aloe vera water and rooibos as antioxidants to help with wound healing and inflammation.

Texture: It is comes as dual phase with the oil and the essence.  Need to shake it before using it each time.  It does have scent of lemon.  It has slight oil that has a light film on the skin making skin looks dewy.  I only use about two drops each time.  It has lemony kind of scent.

Review: There isn't any pain in this new version of serum. I use it at night and about 3 drops.  If I use it during the day, it does make my face very oily.  The oil serum leaves a film on my face.  It doesn't get rid of my acne.  It does help to brighten the skin and reduce acne red scars.  If you have very sensitive skin, probably this is not for you since there are a lot of citrus oil and other form of oil in it.  I can't use it where I have fungal problem else it will just exacerbate the problem.

Overall: It is a nice brightening, hydrating, anti aging serum for those that want to start on vitamin C but looking into something that you don't have to put inside the fridge. Best for dry skin that need some sort of oils and do not have fungal acne problem.

REVIEW ON LINDSAY SOOTHING HERB MODELING MASK

For facial spa experience at home, modeling mask is one of the important steps.  I do like to do my own care at home so I go this LINDSAY Soothing Herb Modeling Mask.

Lindsay is a Korean brand that produce many types of good modelling mask which I had also tried years ago.  This one is a good choice because of ingredients that calm acne prone skin like mine.

Benefits:
A calming herb mask formulated with pure and natural herbal ingredients that are certified in EWG green level, suitable and safe to use for all skin types.

Contains Artemisia Princeps, Houttuynia Cordata, Green Tea to deliver an instant soothing effect to the skin.

Contains Camellia, Aloe Vera and Cactus to cool down the dehydrated skin caused by hot weather and regulates the skin's normal temperature.

Packaging: This one come in simple ziplock packaging with the ingredients list on the packaging.  You can see the powder from the packaging which is nice.  Inside the package there is a 7ml spoon that you can use to get the amount of power for the spa. 7spoon of 7ml is 49ml.  So the whole packet can last about 7times usage.

You can reduce the amount depending on the size of face.

Diatomaceous Earth has exfoliating benefits to reduce acne and make skin smoother.
Glucose is a humectant.
Calcium Sulfate color additive, opacifier and binder.
Magnesium Oxide is also used as an ingredient to absorb or soak up liquids.

I like all the other plant ingredients that helps to calm acne such as mugwort, green tea, licorice, peony eggplant.

Texture&Scent: With the correct amount of water (you can use green tea water), the texture will be smooth batter but will need fast application else it will harden into gel very fast.  It smells like earthy herbal.

The green colouring comes from the ingredients since there are no added colouring in it.

Review: Applied it on my face, it does make me look like the "Shrek" with face melting off.  Removing it is a bit hassle but not difficult since it mostly come out in one big piece of applied thick enough.

It is cooling on my face, reduce redness, hydrate and brighten my face.  Apply some serum before using the mask does help to get better effect compare to paper sheet masks.  With this mask, it is also possible to apply it up to jaw and neck which is normally ignored.  It does make my face smoother and pores look less visible.  I find it help to clear up breakouts and calm my skin.

Overall: It is a good modeling mask if you don't mind the hassle of DIY at home.  It is suitable for acne prone skin and fungal acne safe too.
