REVIEW ON ETUDE HOUSE SOON JUNG 5.5 FOAM CLEANSER

Review on Etude House Soon Jung 5.5 Foam Cleanser.  A lot of people love the barrier cream and the toner from the same line but I was more interested in this foam cleanser that is gentle for my acne prone skin.  It is a also a cleanser for every skin type.

Packaging: It comes in a tube without a box.  The plastic tube is clean and has simple minimalistic design with ease in dispensing product.

Ingredients talk: 

Ingredients 
Water / Aqua / Eau, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycerin, Coco -Betaine, Potassium Benzoate, Sodium Chloride, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Citric Acid, Tromethamine, Disodium Edta, Panthenol, Pentylene Glycol, Madecassoside

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free.   It is not fungal-acne safe (malassezia). The ingredient being Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. 

Since it is not stay on your skin for more than 5minutes on your it is okay unless you do have serious reaction towards other ingredients derived from coconut.  There are also panthenol and centella asiatica which is to help with the hydration but since it is a cleanser it is not going to do much other than avoiding irritating your skin.

The rest the ingredients are for hydration, emulsifier, texture, pH adjusting and preservatives. 

Texture:  It has a very faint scent of plastic and doesn't linger or is too strong.  The product comes out in soft slight watery paste which does have dense soft creamy bubble.  It does have pH5.5 which is the closest to skin so it doesn't irritate the skin. It has very light unscented product which doesn't linger or strong.

Review: It cleanses the skin without leaving residue and is non irritating to my skin.  I find this not drying at all compare to the whip cleanser from the same line.   Do use another cleanser such as oil cleanser or micellar water since this cleanser doesn't remove sebum proof makeup.  Since it is a cleanser as long it doesn't irritate the skin, I think it is a great cleanser.

Overall:  It is a simple very affordable gentle cleanser with pH5.5 for every skin type and even for acne prone.  I do recommend it for any skin type including acne prone skin.
