REVIEW ON ALTHEA SKIN RELIEF SPOT FILM GEL

Hi beautiful,

Invisible liquid gel pimple patches was popular at one point of time because they are normally customised for the size and cheaper than the hydrocolloid patches which is more expensive to purchase but went through it so fast especially if you have acne prone skin like me.

So here is the review on the Althea Skin Relief Spot Film Gel which I actually have been using more than 6 months.  I also compare it with other patches which you can watch on my youtube channel😊.

Althea Skin Relief Spot Film Gel comes in a box with the product in a tube with a round cap.

As for the ingredients, don't think there is anything to worry since the alcohol is used as solvent since it disappeared and dries down to form the film of that pimple patches. My other gel liquid also has alcohol.  In this patches there are other ingredients such as tea tree oil, BHA, Ceramide, centella asiatica to helps with calming the pimples area.

Application is easy since it has a round head.  The transparent gel liquid goes on easy and there is no added fragrance to it. It does have scent of alcohol but it dissipated once dries down..  Although it says to apply it thinly, it does peel off very easily if you apply thin layer.  I have to apply a blob and wait about 5minutes for it to dry.  Even with thin layer it does take about a minute to dry into a matte patch.

Also I tried to apply thin, thicker layer for makeup, use fingers to apply my foundation, use brush to apply my foundation, use cushion push to apply my foundation, use beauty blender to apply foundation on top and also trying all sort of different brands.  Results are the same, it peels off.  With fingers and very careful application, the film will turns dries and peel off about 5 hours into wear.  So, do not use this under makeup.

I tested it on all types of acne and my results are it works only on whiteheads.  Doesn't work to suck exudes on broken acne and doesn't work on cystic acne or fungal acne.  I do like that it does slightly reduce redness and flatten a little of those inflammation of acne.

Overall, Althea Skin Relief Spot Film Gel  is a liquid pimples patches for mild acne such as whiteheads and also it does have a lot of products.
