There are so many other types of cleanser coming out that it is hard for me to keep track of everything. Today is a review on a Korean cleanser which is the oil to foam cleanser, Yvesom Spirulina One-Step Cleanser.
If you are into Kbeauty, I am sure you have heard of the term double cleansing which involved using oil cleanser and then followed by a foam cleanser is recommended for your night routine to have a really nice clean skin.
I know it is troublesome for some people and so now some companies are coming out with oil to foam cleanser which is just a step.
Yvesom Spirulina One-Step Cleanser
Yvesom is a pure eco-friendly natural cosmetics brand which all members of the family can be safe away from harmful ingredients. Their products exclude the 20 must-avoid harmful ingredients and the 26 allergen cosmetics ingredients that may harm the human health

-Fixing fundamental skin dryness, soothing skin troubles, and detoxing your skin
-The cleanser does not include any unnatural, harmful substances.
-How to use: By pumping a proper amount, roll and massage it on your skin softly. Cleanse with warm water
Yvesom Spirulina One Step Cleanser comes with a box with ingredient list in English.
As for the ingredients, it is simple with Spirulina being the top ingredients which is 465000ppm . Coconut oil, glycerin, Jojoba oil, Olive Oil which are for hydration and moisture. Plant extract are acai, blueberry and cucumber are added to reduce irritation and to calm the skin.
Leptospermum petersonii is Lemon-scented teatree which is the reason that it reminds me of natural insect repellent.
Potassium hydroxide is the one that change fats into soap in a process called saponification which is what you call a cleanser in this oil to foam cleanser.
Yvesom Spirulina One Step Cleanser has interesting texture. It is an yellowish oil when applied to dry skin and then add a little water for the oil to turn into foam. The cleansing ability is really strong. It removes everything even tint. As for the pH of the cleanser, take it with grain of salt since I actually take it after I mix my water pH which is 7. The pH I get from the cleanser when it turns into foam is pH7 .
The cleanser has scent that reminds me of lemongrass mosquitoes repellent which comes from the lemon scented tea tree oil. It is pretty strong but the scent doesn't stick to the skin once you wash off the cleanser.
I use this cleanser once every 2 days at night. It does remove makeup even sweat proof ones and is not drying to my face. It does help to control the oil production of my face and lessen clogged pores. However, I find that is can be drying for dry or sensitive skin type. This cleanser doesn't cause more acne which is nice. Don't let it get to your eyes because it stung.
Overall, Yvesom Spirulina One Step Cleanser is a nice one step cleanser for those with oily skin or combination skin type or with pores problem. Also check the ingredients that you are not allergic to it.
