Direction for Use:
1. After washing your face, prepare your skin with lotion. Take out the mask sheet and attach it to the shape of your face. 

2. After about 10-20 minutes, remove the sheet and lightly tap the essence remaining on the skin for absorption.

Ingredients talk: There are changes to ingredients but not totally changes the formulation.  The details are as above.

Texture: The thin sheet mask is soft and fit my face very well.  The new fit has the forehead length increased and cheeks reduce in length.  

The watery liquid absorbs into my skin well without stickness. I could wear it for 25minutes before it starts drying up.  It has faint scent of tea tree that does disappeared after I removed the mask.

Review: I enjoy this NEW ESSENTIAL HEALING as I did with their old formulation.  I find this new sheet masks more effective too.

Overall: A gentle effective sheet mask for many skin types and skin concern.

REVIEW ON THE RAW BY PASTELS GRAPE SEED OIL

If you have oily skin, most of the time you are told to go oil free in your skincare products.  While keeping skin hydrated is true, drying out your skin with all the harsh products isn't going to do your skin any good.

I have combination acne prone skin and find that some types of oil helps in my skincare routine.

100% Cold Pressed Grape Seed Oil 

Grapeseed oil is suitable for oily acne prone skin because it contains linoleic acid which will not clog the pores.  Besides, it contains vitamin E, flavonoids and OPC Factor™.  

OPC works by combination of vitamins, minerals, and bioflavonoids called oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), which are powerful antioxidants.

Vitamin E&linoleic acid lightens skin discolorations such as acne scars and sunspots.  It also speed up healing process and reduce formation of keloid scars( raised enlarged scarring).

Texture:  Watery light texture oil that absorbs onto the skin without residue.  There isn't any strong scent to it.

Review: I use 2-3 drops of grape seed oil for my whole face at night.  I find that grape seed oil helps with hydration, reduce skin oiliness and speed up healing.  It does help to get rid of the pigmentation help by acne.  It doesn't clogged my skin but seems to help to reduce acne on my face after using it for 3 weeks.  I tried it on my skin is weak after exfoliation and it doesn't irritate my skin.

Overall: The Raw by Pastels Grape Seed Oil is an affordable oil suitable for acne prone oily skin.

REVIEW ON JAPANESE ORIHIRO DOKUDAMI HEARTLEAF TEA

I eat my skincare ingredients so here today is introducing you to Japanese Orihiro Dokudami Heartleaf Tea 60 Bags.

Most people know heart leaf by the scientific name houttuynia cordata. Other names are fish mint, fish leaf, rainbow plant, chameleon plant, heart leaf, fish wort, or Chinese lizard tail.

It is also eaten as in Asian dishes.

Houttuynia cordata is an antioxidant, anti-bacterial, gentle, hydrating and anti-inflammatory which is good for the body and skin since it is anti-inflammatory- calm acne, rashes, eczema.

Using only dry dough leaves, the unique bitterness was suppressed by full-fledged roasting, making it easy to drink. 

A tea bag type that can be used for both water and boiled water.

Packaging:  It comes everything written in Japanese.  Good with pictures so that I can make a guess on how to make tea with it.  Inside are 3 X 20bags inside which is really good for hygienic purposes.

Scent: Dokudami (heartleaf) has a unique scent of light woody scent.  I like the scent.  The tea is not bitter at all even when soak inside for more than 10minutues because of my laziness.

Review:  

This is 100% Dokudami (heartleaf).  It is currently famous in skincare for calming, anti-inflammatory and heal acne prone skin.  The Japanese eat heartleaf as vegetables which is actually good for health.

 

It is easy to make tea with this.  I am just lazy with washing so many of those tea equipment so I just leave it inside the cup.  It is a good tea to drink to calm your body and your skin.  When I was drinking this tea, my skin heals faster and less redness. 

It is good to drink it when having fever too. 

 

Overall: It is a nice good tea to drink 😊. I recommend it.

FOOD REVIEW ON XIAN FU HAWKER CENTRE KLUANG, JOHOR, MALAYSIA

Xian Fu Hawker Centre, Felda Bukit Tongkat, 86000 Kluang, Johor

Xian Fu Hawker Centre is popular for lunch in the afternoon.  It is located next to a school. There is a fish pond but I have no idea why the fishes run into hiding seeing me.  There are many stalls that you can choose from and paid only when the food arrived at your table.  Each table has a number that you use to mention to the stall so as it is easier to find you later.

I just order a little from everything.  Price range from around RM6 to RM10.  There is pricing directly on the stalls.

-Johor curry is different from the North Peninsula.  It is thicker, denser and contains some sort of extra spices.

This is noodles with chicken feet.  It tasted alright.  Chicken feet is commonly eaten for to stay young.  I have no idea if that is true since this is a beauty secret passed down for generation.

The bread from the Ah Teng stall is actually very good and as good as some famous bakery that I have been.

Mum got some traditional pastries from a stall too.  It is delicious and good too.

Herbal drink 'Lo Han Guo' Monk fruit

A sweet herbal drink that is really good to relieve sore throat, cough and expelling body heat.

Overall, if you are into hawker stalls that has a lot of affordable varieties for lunch this is one of the place to go in Kluang.

Instruction:
1. Mix CJ pancake mix (500g) and cold water (850ml) in deep and big bowl.
2. Knead the mixed dough (CJ mix and water)

5. Stir fry it on hot plate for 3 - 4 minutes.

It is used to make gochujang (Korean chili paste), in delicious kimchi, for many korean stews (jjigae) and spicy Korean dishes.  This Bidan red pepper powder is not that spicy so it is suitable for me.  I really like the taste and I also use it in curry.

This is a wonderful pure sesame oil.  I really love this bottle of sesame oil that is good for cooking Korean side dishes, rice dishes, Korean BBQ and in dipping sauce too. It has nutty aroma and savoury flavor  It makes food very delicious.

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, silicone free, Eu allergen free. fungal-acne safe (malassezia).  

The ingredients are all below 2 in EWG which is really good.  Brightening ingredients such as Niacinamide.  Other plant ingredients such as centella asiatica extra, green tea, licorice, rosemary, mugwort are good for acne prone skin.  There is no essential oil which is really great for those avoiding it.


Texture:   It has transparent consistency as a very light watery gel.  There isn't any addded fragrance to it so it smells like plastic.

Review:  This essence absorbs into my skin withour residues and it does keep my skin hydrated the whole day.  It is a nice essence under makeup.  I find that it is a good essence to use for a simple routine (cleanser>this essence >sunscreen).  Applying it with those 10steps will make this essence kind of sticky.  It doesn't irritate my skin or cause clogged pores or acne.  It calm my skin, hydrate my skin and balance my skin.


Overall: Jin Jung Sung Soothing Moisture Skin Essence is a nice hydrating fungal safe essence.
