Developed by dermatologist Lee Ji Ham in Korea, Dr. Ceuracle produces skincare products for sensitive skin.  It used to be called Lee Ji Ham.

Their most popular skincare products is the tea tree essence for acne prone skin.  This is the new formulation so, here is my review on Dr. Ceuracle Tea Tree Purifine 95 Essence Mini.

I have acne prone skin that is prone to redness and also sometimes fungal acne problem.

Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract (95%) is gentle on the skin compare to the oil.  It reduce inflammation on the skin.  All the other plant ingredients are for reducing inflammation and to speed up the healing process.

Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract is BHA that reduce acne inflammation .
Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract is good ingredients to soothe and strengthens skin's barrier.  Probiotics inside skincare products are 2021 popular ingredient in Kbeauty now.

Texture: The essence is super watery liquid which absorbs very fast without any stickiness.  It doesn't have any strong scent at all.

Review: I find that it absorbs into my skin very fast and does not have residue. It does not irritate the skin at all or cause any redness.  I find that it reduce the inflammation and redness on my skin and being gentle at the same time.  If you have light acne, it works best when applied at night before moisturiser.  I applied it everyday on my acne prone area and it keeps the area clear.  I find that it is gentle enough for everyday usage and works to clear those underground acne that does not come up to head given some time.  I find it does take a longer time such as few days to start seeing results compare to the past formulation.

It is just a little more expensive for the amount you get.

Overall: Dr. Ceuracle Tea Tree Purifine 95 Essence is a good effective gentle essence fungal safe for acne prone skin.

Here is unboxing on Must try special food in Japan.

Besides Kit Kat matcha from Japan, there are also some Japanese snacks that are unique to each perfectures and places.

Some of the snacks are actually seasonals so if you will only be able to get some of them when they are in season.  Some of them also has short expiry date so it made them even more exclusive and special.

So, do consider bring them back as sourvenir when you are going to Japan.

This is an seasonal available jelly from Nagasaki, Japan.  This one I have is grape jelly which does contain alcohol.  It has safflower and gardenia in it.  I really like the thoughtfulness of removing the skin from the grape already.  It has taste of safflower with a very light scent of sake (wild guess).  Sweetness is just right and I think it is pretty tasty. It reminds me of osmanthus jelly.

It has crackers, seaweed and bits of salmon in it.  The salmon bits can be salty so it is good to eat it with plain porridge.  I find it appetising.

This is one of the flavour drink that one should try when they are in Japan.

My mouth is greeted by burst of freshness special pear flavour extract from Tottori prefecture Nijisseiki Pear (Twentieth-Century Pear).  The water is also from natural source in Japan.  It has only hint of sugar which is not noticeable at all.  My mother really like this Ilohas pear flavour drink when she normally don't like anything pear flavoured.

Love Seafood? Get this unique rice topping seasoned sea urchin which is really tasty exclusive in Japan.  Sea urchin in Japan is highly sought after and this Sanko rice topping is affordable to get it for your love one.  My mum really like as topping for rice and in her Maki (sushi).

Petit Shrimp Cracker from Yamagata is really good.  It is so crispy, thin and has real shrimp taste.  It is not too salty and I just can help myself to finish it in one go. 😂

Texture: It has slight orange scent that disappeared once dried down.  Orangey transparent serum that  watery light that absorbs onto the skin without any stickiness or residue.  

Review: Doesn't pile with sunscreen or under makeup.  It does even out, lighten the skin and reduce pigmentation after using it for 14days.  It is not irritating, doesn't clogged my pores and doesn't break me out.  It does speed up the healing of my skin and make my skin look brighter.

Overall: A dermatologist brand serum for dark spots without visit to the skin clinic.

I have been using mostly non sulphate shampoo which is more gentle on my hair.  Here is a non sulphate and is a herbal shampoo from Korea.  Ryo is one of the brands under Amore Pacific that makes the famous Laneige, Innisfree, Etude House and also Sulwhasoo.

review on Ryo derma scalp care shampoo for sensitive&oily scalp.  I have been using for more than a month.  I have oil scalp and I live in hot humid weather.  There is another version which is for dry scalp.

Texture: It has transparent watery liquid that has this light herbal scent of rosemary. 

Review: Shampoo liquid does bubble up easily which cleanses my hair easily and makes my hair soft even without conditioner.  Living in a hot humid weather my hair tends to be very limp and sweaty after a day but this shampoo last two days on me.  After a month, I find my scalp more healthy and less greasy. I find that it is gentle, hydrating and balancing the scalp water -oil balance.

Overall: It is a nice herbal non sulfate shampoo which is a good alternative for oily and sensitive scalp.

MOONLIGHT TOUR OF CHANGDEOKGUNG PALACE KOREA

Here is a special trip to Korea video the moonlight tour of Changdeokgung Palace in Korea.

I am honoured to be a part of this wonderful virtual trip at night to Changdeokgung Palace.


Changdeokgung Palace is in Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea.
The star of Seoul's five Joseon Dynasty palaces was built by King Taejong in 1405.  

It was used as secondary palace to Gyeongbokgung for about two centuries.  From the time of Seongjong, the ninth king of Joseon began using it as a place of residence.

Now it is a  UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for it's royal residence buildings and beautiful gardens.

The admission fees Requires Valid ID card for free tickets

Secret Garden tour requires the general admission ticket purchase and is a guided tour.

The box has this beautiful phoenix is on the ceiling of Injeongjeon Hall of Changdeokgung Palace.

This is a first time that I get to experience such a unique virtual tour that I have to make my own VR set.  Sorry I mess up the VR a bit and that is how it turned out.  The tutorial video is actually very clear and easy to follow.  

The mood lamp I had to rewatch the tutorial video over and over again and still didn't get it right the first time.  When I finally got it right, there is this sense of happiness.

I didn't get the perfume but the paper with the scent and it does smell good.  It smells like woody slight sweet scent.
