The one I have here is the Klairs Daily Skin Softening Water which is a gentle exfoliating toner which is fungal free for acne prone skin or skin that needs gentle exfolation.

It’s a water-like exfoliating toner with low irritation and no viscosity. You can easily take care of dead skin cells daily with this toner as it contains sugarcane extract, a natural exfoliant, and a small amount(0.15%) of citric acid that causes the lowest irritation among AHAs. The toner also contains 45% of cucumber water that delivers rich hydration and refreshing sensation to soothe your dry skin the exfoliation might cause. It is recommended to skin types that suffer from excessive dead skin cells and whiteheads, and also to hypersensitive skin as it causes no irritation or stickiness.


Usage:
1) After cleansing, even out your skin texture using a cotton pad soaked in the toner.
2) Layer the toner on the area with excessive dead skin cells or sebum by pressing lightly with a cotton pad or the palm of your hand.
3) Continue your routine with essence, cream, and so on.

This toner is Paraben free, sulfate free, silicone free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free. fungal-acne safe.

Cucumber water and Apple water are great for hydrating.  The sugarcane has exfoliating benefits of AHA but the low gentle formula of glycolic acid makes it possible for everyday usage.  Panthenol, Betaine, Glycerin are there to keep the skin hydrated with the humectant and emollient properties.

Citric acid which is very low in the list is to act as pH adjuster and it is the only ingredient which some extreme sensitive might fine it a trigger. The rest of the ingredients are safe and gentle for daily exfolation which acne prone skin like mine need.


This softening water is actually odorless. The closest I could describe is it has very faint scent of plastic which disappeared once it dries down. The liquid is just like water and absorb very fast into the skin and have no whatever stickness. It is great for hot humid summer and for combination skin type.  You can also soak it in a compressed mask to create a light exfoliating sheet mask. (not more than 5min on your face)


review: The pH4.4 is ideal for light exfoliation and closes to the skin pH which is between 4.4 to 5.5.  I tried it for 3 weeks and I think it is a very gentle exfoliating everyday toner.  It very gentle to my skin and doesn't irritate my existing acne prone skin.  You do need to continue use other skincare products to deal with more than mild acne.



Overall, Klairs Daily Skin Softening Water is a jumbo affordable non irritating light exfoliating toner for combination oily skin type .  If you have fungal acne and want to be safe by avoiding the By wishtrend mandelic acid prep toner, this can be a good replacement of that.

How to use:
Spray the tonic on scalp whenever it feels dry or itchy. This tonic is so gentle, you can even use it on your face and body.

Truezyme Healing Multi Tonic comes in a silver plastic bottle.  The box has all the ingredients and information listed in English so it is great for looking for information.

It is paraben free, sulfate free, silicone free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free and Fungal Acne Safe.

As for the ingredients, there are many great ingredients.  The only ingredient that some people may have problem is lavender which isn't a problem for me.

It has a light lavender scent to it.  It comes out in form of watery mist and absorbs fast into the skin leaving no residue or stickness behind.  I spray it on my hair and it does absorbs fast too.

This tonic does calm the scalp and helps with healing.  My scalp and hair is much healthy when using it.  It does reduce the dandruff and oiliness with my scalp.  It is a nice tonic to use to protect your hair especially if you have weak scalp, perms a lot along with hair tools to 'fries' your scalp.

On my skin, I like this a lot since it is easy to use.  It calms my skin , reduce irritation, strengthen my skin, doesn't sting my skin at all even after I pick on my skin and speed up healing scars.  It doesn't cause acne or worsen it.  In fact, my skin barely break out when I was using Truezyme Healing Multi Tonic.

I think the price is justiable for the amount you get which is 100ml and you can just this one bottle for your whole family during travelling.


Overall, Truezyme Healing Multi Tonic is a really great Hanbang products for multi purpose usage and for your whole family.  It is safe for you and also for the environmental conscious.

7 DAYS OF ASIAN FOOD

Hi foodies,

Recently I have been taking videos of what I eat so why not I just share with you on what I normally eat in Malaysia.  There many cheap options when it comes to food in Malaysia.  Also  the reason we don't need  to pay tips 😁 makes it easier to get food and do some cooking.

What I have here is just the normal food for pores like me and not some food available in high restaurant so it is closed to what typical working people eat daily.  I try to eat healthy by having vegetables in my diet.

As for one of the day, you may noticed that I eat only twice since I skipped one of the meals because I was almost late to work thus I did brunch.  Here is the 7 Days of Asian Food.

For the ingredients,  the ingredients are geared towards strong moisturising effect for long lasting makeup.  There are many plant ingredients that helps with calming dry skin such as rice, gotu kola, green tea, scutellaria baicalensis, corn, sesame oil, vitamin E, licorice, cammomile and seaberry.

It is paraben free, sulfate free, silicone free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free.
It is not Fungal Acne Safe (PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil)

The moisturiser is transparent brownish with texture of vaseline.  It turns into oil base with rubbing it on your face.  As for fragrance it has some sort of light floral scent but it can smell different for you.


It is a great moisturiser for makeup since most makeup can make you look really cakey and dry by the end of the day.  It is made for makeup that need an oil based such as the geisha kind of makeup or theaterical makeup that can last 12 hours without melting even in high temperature.  It is also very suitable for dry skin type that needs to wear makeup for long hours.  It is not a cream for treating acne prone skin.


I tried it on my severely dry legs and it really keep the moisture on my skin with a light layer of oil even when other moisturiser just immediately get soak up.


Overall, A. BY BOM Ultra Moisture Black Tea Cream is a cream for dry skin type and for long lasting makeup.

Swanicoco Overnight Intensive Recharging Hydrogel Mask Pack comes in one piece packaging with some information printed on the package.  The ingredients list is printed in Korean though.

Inside the mask is protected by two pieces of pearl paper and a thin plastic.  It is sandwiched in between the pearl paper and thin plastic.  The mask is separated into two pieces.  It is gel with gold flecks and honey shape pattern all over.

I do like the fit for my face.  The size is about the usual Asian face.  It has the special embossing pattern of honey comb patterns with fancy gold shinning.


It is paraben free, sulfate free, silicone free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free.

The ingredients are pretty good me since it contains lots of hydrating ingredients, calming ingredients and anti aging ingredients.  If you like propolis, this mask has lots of them which is nice.  There is also the BHA which is to help with exfoliating pores for acne prone skin.

The price is very affordable considering it is hydrogel since some paper sheet masks are more pricey than this.

The sheet mask adheres very well to my face and I can wear it for 45minutes compare to paper sheet masks.  It does becomes thin the longer you wait to remove it.  It doesn't irritate my skin or cause more acne.  It does make my face looks dewy, brighter and looks calm after I remove the sheet mask.  The scent is pretty light of honey.

Overall, Swanicoco Overnight Intensive Recharging Hydrogel Mask Pack is a nice affordable hydrogel sheet mask with propolis ingredients for special occassion or just for that dewy skin look instantaneously glowing for acne prone skin.
