EXID I love you MV is just so catchy 😍 . Here is a Solji EXID I Love You inspired makeup tutorial.
This is my first time trying a makeup tutorial for Kpop so don't roast me since I am just going to admit that I am not good in makeup tutorials. The reason you only seen me doing it only a few times a year.
Originally, I wanted to do Junghwa inspired look but the eye-shadows I use just don't have enough pigmentation and the end results look more like Solji. As for the other members, you either have to use more bright pink for eye shadow or a darker lip product.

So here is the EXID Solji I love you Inspired Makeup tutorial .
Do take consideration that lighting is slightly different than the natural lighting I use. I don't have professional lighting but I think that is the colour if you see EXID in real life. I try my best to get similar if not close to the actual makeup they use.
A few points to keep in mind:
1. Make sure you hydrate your face with a sheet mask or skincare before the makeup.
2. The EXID members have good flawless skin. I don't so I am using a medium coverage cushion makeup for acne prone skin with dewy finish.
3. The shades are Korean #21 for base makeup. You do need to go one shade lighter on stage or in Music Videos if you do not want to look darker by 2 shades.
4. I didn't apply on my neck because I don't want to stain my clothes. Kpop makeup is not just on the face, normally the makeup is full body. Tone up cream for the body so that it looks lighter and they also powder it.
5. Solji's eyeliner is not that thick. I am sorry that mine looks thick cause I accidentally over drawn. So do a thinner one than mine.
6. Use a natural individual fake eyelashes or you will have invisible eyelashes like mine. Then again you don't need fake eyelashes if you have nice natural eyelashes. There are those individual eyelashes that is separated into a few eyelashes. Put it on only the area where it is sparse.
7. I am seeing a lot of the Igari makeup for blushes in many of the Kpop music videos nowadays. Igari blush tend to be near the eyes area.
As for the makeup items, you can always use something better than what I use. For eyeliner, you can use MAC pot eyeliner or Urban Decay. For eyebrow, any light brown will do. As for tint, a bright red rose lipstick could replace the one I use. Rose colour is the Korean lip colour for 2018/2019 and mostly use in Korean MV too. For eyeshadow use something with better pigmentation that what I have. Mine looks pigmented but the colour is pretty light actually.

Steps:
1. Wear a grey colour circle lens.
2. Do skincare and apply lipbalm.

3. Pat on the cushion foundation onto the skin with cushion puff.
4. Draw your eyebrow with a brown (2). Her eyebrow is straight with slight arch and thin.

5. Cover dark circles and acne with concealer. You can also skip this step if you don't need concealer.

6. I use the
Collection Eyebrow Kit.
Apply light brown(1) all over the eyelids and bring it up to the crease
Apply the brown(2) over half of the eyelids.
Then, add a little grayish dark brown(3) at the corner of the eyelid. Blend the (2) and the (3) together with a brush. Three strokes will do.

6. Draw a thin eyeliner. Mine is a terrible mistake so don't follow it😂.
7. Apply individual fake eyelashes and put mascara on.

8. Look straight into the mirror. Then, dot one dot of the red lip tint below your pupils at the eyes' socket area. Then use a cushion puff or just your finger to pat the colour to even it.

9. Wipe off the lipbalm. Use a bright rose red tint or lipstick. You don't really need to do the lip shine since Solji don't have it in the teaser image but she has it in some of the music video. I actually use glittery eyeshadow (the 2-gold of the E.L.F Prism eyeshadow) to apply a line on the lower lip area.

10. Dust some powder on the face.
11. Spray some hydrating mist.
12. Take selfies 😄.
