Don't worry it won't turned you into pale vampire unless your are born with very pale skin.

So, when Skinfood came out with rice mask, it became very popular.  Now it is still one of Skinfood popular products.

Suggested Use:

The star ingredient is in the no5 list that is Oryza sativa (rice) bran extract which is the brown outer layer of the rice kernel (plant) to soften skin and protect the skin.  

Contains popular hydrating ingredients that is Hyaluronic Acid in form of Sodium Hyaluronate which is a humectant that takes water from the air to hydrate skin.

There are also ingredients for hydration that are Algin, Glycerin, Jojoba Ester and Polyglutamic Acid

The rest the ingredients are for emulsifier, texture, and preservatives. 

Texture: It has the texture of cooked rice porridge.  There is floral fragrance that last through the mask process.

Review: Application is easy and smooth.  It is soft and rubbing it on the skin does not hurt the skin.  it is easy to wash it off and leave the skin feels smooth, brighter, soft and hydrated. Not sure if it does anything on my pimples and acne prone area but it doesn't clogged it.  It does brighten the skin after a few usages.

Overall: A nice brightening and hydrating maks for normal to dry skin type.  If will like it more if there is no added floral fragrance in this mask.

The star ingredient is also the first ingredient in this product which is sucrose which is Sugar.  Sugar is a natural exfoliant and humectant. It mildly exfoliate the skin and also hydrate the skin.

There are ingredients are for exfoliating, moisturising and prevent dryness.
It also contains vitamin e, lanolin and shea butter, Macadamia Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil,Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride and glycerin.

Other ingredients are emulsifier, fragrance and preservatives.

Texture: Use organic Black Sugar granules that melts with contact of damp skin.  It has lemony scent which disappeared once wash off.

Review: A cult classic mask wash off that use organic Black Sugar granules. It exfoliates away dead skin cells and make my skin smooth and soft. Skin does look brighter,clearer and smooth to touch.  Do becareful with area with acne though.  It has lemony scent which disappeared once rinse off. I usually apply on damp skin with oil cleanser and no hard scrub.  It is good for exfoliating lips too 

Overall: A affordable exfoliating mask for normal to dry skin type and for brighten the skin.

There is seaweed which has high antioxidants that help plump skin and smooth fine lines.
Other plant ingredients are Olive Oil, Orange Oil, Mugwort oil, Patchouli oil, Lavender oil which are for anti aging, reduce blemishes and skin irritation.

The rest the ingredients are for emulsifier, texture, pH adjusting and preservatives. 

Texture: The plastic jar is full of essence with plush soft thick cotton.  One side is embossed while the other side is smooth. I could separate the cotton pads into two.  It is very gentle on my skin.  There is no scent and the essence is clear.

Review: I apply it on my face for 10minutes to cool down my face and then followed up with moisturiser. It calms my skin, reduce breakouts and soothe redness on my face.  I enjoy using it twice a week for quick spot masking on my face.

Overall: It is a great soothing pads for calming acne prone skin and speed up healing.

There are ingredients for texture, pH adjusting and fragrance. 

Texture: It is watery and there is no scent to it.

Review: Gently remove the makeup without irritation and doesn't dry the skin.  It does work for waterproof makeup but need more cotton pad and time to remove them.  It is written no need to rinse but I still prefer to rinse.  It doesn't dry the skin after usage.

Overall: Gentle micellar water for dry and sensitive skin.

Texture: Nice soft light bluish gel texture without any scent.

Review: Gentle soft gel texture that goes on transparent on the skin.  It is better as a sleeping mask for me as it can pile with some makeup and sunscreen.  It is soothing, speed up healing, reduce redness , hydrating and help with bulding stronger skin barrier.  I find that it reduces breakouts after using it for 2 weeks.  It is is also safe for people with fungal acne.

Overall: Great Vegan gentle fungal safe with probiotic light moisturiser especially for combination oily skin type.

Review on Benton Heartleaf toner .

A gentle toner to calm sensitive skin including acne prone skin.

About the brand:
Looking for solutions to their own skin problems, brothers JangWon and ChaeWon Lee established cult favorite brand Benton in 2011. The brand's name is a contraction of the main character's name from the film "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," which tells the story of a man who is aging backward. The brand relies heavily on natural ingredients to encourage and restore skin to its original healthy state, and keep it looking young all the time. Among its all-time bestsellers are Snail Bee High Content Essence, Aloe BHA Skin Toner and the Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel. All Benton products are 100% made in Korea and are not tested on animals, earning them a Cruelty-Free Certification and the "Beauty Without Bunnies" logo from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

Description
- A slightly acidic pH-balanced toner formulated with Houttuynia Cordata Extract to quickly soothe irritated skin, while delivering instant hydration.
- Enriched with Ceramides and Sodium Hyaluronate to help prevent dryness and irritation by locking moisture into skin, while enhancing skin firmness and helping to smooth out fine lines.
- Further contains Tannin Complex including Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract and Chestnut Shell Extract to offer pore and sebum care.
- Dermatologically tested, safe for sensitive skin to use.

How To Use:

After cleansing, wet a cotton pad with a sufficient amount of toner to lightly pat on your face or directly pat with your hands for better absorption.

The main plant ingredient is Houttuynia Cordata Extract(5%) and Centella Asiatica Extract for calming skin.

Heartleaf Extract is great for the anti-inflammatory properties. Rich in flavonoids and polyphenols, this extract helps soothe irritated skin for those dealing with redness, inflammation, or sensitive skin conditions like eczema and rosacea.

Other plant ingredients are also for calming, hydration and soothing.

The rest the ingredients are for hydration, pH adjusting and preservatives. 

Texture:  It has slight acidic pH5.5 .  It is watery colourless liquid with the slight scent of dried wood that disappeared once dried down.

Review: It is a gentle and soothing toner.  It reduces my skin redness and calm breakouts.  It is good for 7skin method for oily or combination skin without being irritating.  Since it is fungal safe, it is safe and does not cause more breakouts. I find it does reduce oily skin and control sebum after using it for 2 weeks.

Overall: Benton Heartleaf toner is a gentle calming toner for any skin type.
