It is vegetarian noodles.

Packaging: It is small compact foil packet type with the broth powder inside the packet.  It is enough for two people.  Since this one is imported it does have English details on it along with Japanese.  The guide on cooking has even photos on how to cook it which is really thoughtful.
Review: The ingredients are all vegetarians so it looks good to eat.  The noodles are the small round noodles which is how Japanese noodles are.  I like the noodles.  The broth is white and it taste a bit like soya sauce which is the savoury type.

Overall: It is a pretty nice vegetarian Hakata Tonkotsu ramen noodles.

So, do consider bring them back as sourvenir when you are going to Japan.

Tarami grape jelly (seasonal fruit).
This is an seasonal available jelly from Nagasaki, Japan.  This one I have is grape jelly which does contain alcohol.  It has safflower and gardenia in it.  I really like the thoughtfulness of removing the skin from the grape already.  It has taste of safflower with a very light scent of sake (wild guess).  Sweetness is just right and I think it is pretty tasty. It reminds me of osmanthus jelly.

It has crackers, seaweed and bits of salmon in it.  The salmon bits can be salty so it is good to eat it with plain porridge.  I find it appetising.

This is one of the flavour drink that one should try when they are in Japan.

My mouth is greeted by burst of freshness special pear flavour extract from Tottori prefecture Nijisseiki Pear (Twentieth-Century Pear).  The water is also from natural source in Japan.  It has only hint of sugar which is not noticeable at all.  My mother really like this Ilohas pear flavour drink when she normally don't like anything pear flavoured.

Review
Pros:
One of the popular place to eat for Chinese food at night.
It has very affordable price for tasty food.
There are actually many choices for the food.  I had it for many nights to be able to try a lot of them.  Here are some of my favourites.

clear delicious soup for only RM6 with white rice.  I like the watercress and old cucumber soup.
Sambal stingray with a egg and lady finger for RM8. The sambal is really good.
Claypot pork for RM8 which is soft and nice.  You can add one more plate of white rice for extra RM1.
Seaweed popia which is really crunchy is delicious.

Cons:
If it is raining then many of the stalls won't be opening so go during a clear night.
Some people will smoke.

REVIEW ON KOPITIAM SURIA CHUAN SENG, KLUANG, JOHOR

chai kueh (glutinous skin and inside is turnip)

Pros:
- self service
- Affordable price of coffee, nasi lemak and kueh

Cons:
-slow to serve or asking us what we want to drink
-not much choices of breakfast
-most people just get the nasi lemak and some kueh

Personal experience: I probably am too lazy to come again because there are too many people with slow service.
Pricing: took a few Kueh and nasi lemak and it was only RM10. The coffee is about RM2 per cup.

Hi beautiful people,

It has been long since I did any travelling food post because the past few years I wasn't able to travel and I was priotising my mental or you could just say I am lazy.  I also try to choose to review places with affordable pricing, cheap and most important taste pretty good.

I am not paid to do all these food reviews and trying to stay incognito.  😂

This is a Halal shop named Butter and Olive Pastry House which apparently has website after I checked it online.  The one I went is in Kluang, Johor.

Green Tea Red Bean Cake: Whisk away to Japan with this treat of green tea chiffon and layers of sweet red bean and fresh cream.
Details : Choose 6 in” or 8 in” size
Ingredients : Green tea, flour, egg, sugar, milk, cream, red beans

Review:  I actually walked into the shop just for the green tea cake and came out with two more others cakes.  The pastry are all made with premium ingredients and they are pretty good.  I like the green tea bean cake the most follow by the chocolate indulgence and lastly the tiramisu.  Price is pretty affordable and in the middle range so not overally expensive for them.  Overall, will
go again.
