South Korean brand, Isntree combines "island", "natural" and "tree" together for its name and guiding philosophy of being transparent in choice of ingredients using the most safe and purest from nature. Most popular products are Aloe Soothing Gel, Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream, Sensitive Balancing Sun Protection Plus SPF50+ PA++++ and Sensitive Balancing Cleansing Foam. All products are free from animal-testing.

Refine rough skin with this exfoliating toner infused with 2% BHA to slough off dead skin cells and accelerate skin cell turnover. Additional ingredients like tannin (extracted from chestnut shells) tighten enlarged pores and remove unwanted shine, while hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate keep moisture levels high.

A BHA exfoliating toner containing 2% salicylic acid to remove dead skin cells, control sebum production and accelerate cell turnover.

Formulated with sodium hyaluronate, hyaluronic acid and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid to seal in moisture.

How to use:

Salicylic Acid 2% is BHA which exfoliate your pores from sebum.

Contains other exfoliating ingredients such as chestnut shell extract& wilow bark

Hydrating ingredients are hyaluronic acid, glycerin, allantoin, Propanediol.
There is Dipotassium glycyrrhizate which is from licorice and has soothing and dark spot fading properties.

Texture: It is clear watery toner that absorbs well.  There is no added fragrance but it very faint scent which I can't describe (steel) .

Review: I use it with a cotton pad once per day without any other actives.  If you are new to actives then not more than 3times per week. Also use a sunscreen.   It does reduce acne breakouts, calm the skin, keep the skin clear, make skin smooth, clear blackheads and clear white heads.  It is also fungal safe.  

Overall: An effective 2% BHA toner for blackheads and acne prone skin that is fungal acne safe.

Houttuynia Cordata Extract (trouble skin) is part of the line Just One line-Artemisia Capillaris (redness), Diospyros kaki (dark skin), Perilla frutescens (ageing skin) and Chamaecyparis Obtusa (sensitive skin).

- Houttuynia cordata extract grown in the Mt. Jiri, South Korea.

- Carefully extracted under low low-temperature for 20hours for maximum active ingredients.

-contains Quercitrin that has antibacterial&anti-inflammatory for troubled skin.

Suggestion of Usage:

1. Use as All in -One Tone 

Apply an appropriate amount to a cotton pad or to the palm of your hand to use as a toner.

2. As a mist

You can add the extract to a mist container and mix it with another product (a toner or extract already in use)

3. Make your own products

Add 5-10% of the product to other skincare products already in use (toner, lotion, cream) (5-10ml per 100ml) 

Blend more than two different extracts.  For example: 80% Houttuynia cordata + 20% Artemisia Capillaris extract

4. Use as a face mask

Wet the cotton pad with the extract and place it on areas that require specific care for 5-10 minutes. 

5.  Use as scalp hair care

Spray on hair to keep your scalp healthy.

Packaging: Nice elegant box with English and Hangul written in it.  The transparent plastic bottle with black cap contains the extract in it.

Ingredients:

Houttuynia Cordata Extract 92.5%, butylene glycol, 1 2-hexanediol.

Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone free  and fungal-acne safe (malassezia).

There are only three ingredients 

Houttuynia Cordata 92.5% from Mt. Jiri, South Korea that is extracted using low low temperature contains Quercitrin which has antibacterial&anti-inflammatory for acne prone skin.

Butylene glycol is a humectant for hydration and 1,2 hexanediol for texture and hydration properties.

 

Texture: Watery brown liquid that absorbs easily onto skin.  It has herbal scent of houttuynia cordarta also called heartleaf scent.

Review: My skin like this high heartleaf extract of 92.5% since it reduce redness, reduce inflammation, is antibacterial and reduce acne breakout on my skin.  I find that it also speed up healing of my acne red scars.   Besides, that it reduces oiliness and keep my skin hydrated with the 7skin application.  It doesn't cause breakout or cause any clogged pores.  I applied this extract when I picked on my skin and it soothes my face without any irritation.  Masking with it feels really nice too.  It doesn't cause piling when I use it under sunscreen and makeup which is nice.

Overall: A high heartleaf 92.5% extract that is gentle and soothes acne prone skin.

It is a water based serum with water and orange fruit water as its main ingredient.

Gluconolactone is a gentle exfoliation to dissolves dead skin cells, improves the appearance of fine lines discoloration and can help remove excess oil from skin.

Plant ingredients such as centella asiatica,black tea ferment, primose extract, arrowroot, pine and elm are for calming and soothing the skin.

Hyaluronic acid, arginine are for hydration and there are preservatives. 

Texture: It is a watery clear serum.  It has faint scent of peach which disappeared once dries down.

Review: I use it once per day at night.   Watery serum that absorbs easily onto my combination skin without any traces.  Do use a moisturiser after that and good for layering.  It doesn't clogged my skin or irritates me since I don't have problem with orange fruit water.  It does provide daily gentle exfoliation for my skin.  It does reduce sebum production on my skin so my skin looks less oily after using it for 2 weeks.

Overall:  A gentle exfoliation watery serum that is fungal safe for acne prone combination skin.
