It is a water based serum.  The star ingredients are high on the list.

Niacinamide, a form of Vitamin B3, is a very popular ingredients for brightening and sebum control.

Zinc PCA, the zinc salt of L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (L-PCA), which has hydrating properties, reduce sebum, anti aging and anti-bacterial properties.  It reduces acne redness and stimulate the production of skin collagen.

Texture&Scent: no added fragrance so it smells lightly fresh sweetness that disappeared once dried. It has this watery gelish that turns into water on skin. 

Review:  It does absorb well leaving no residue without stickiness.  With a little more time and patting it absorbs well.  I find that it does balance out my skin after using it for 2 weeks since my skin is less oily.  It does hydrates my skin, reduce redness, brighten my skin, speed up the healing of those red marks and amount of acne.  It doesn't stop my hormonal acne though.   It is a pretty good fungal safe brightening serum.  I use it with my other acne product after 2weeks and they work well with this serum.

Overall: A even better dupe of the popular brand with watery texture.  It is a gentle serum, good for brightening the skin, deals with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, uneven complexion, oily acne prone skin and fungal safe too.

I love ginseng because of their properties in body vitality and also the overal effect on the skin.  Consuming it once a month will nourish your body and makes your skin glow in the long run.

Review: Matured American Ginseng Slices which comes in 4 vacuum tight sealed to keep the ginseng fresh.  Only opened it once you want to cook it.  The ginseng is pretty good since it does help to nourish my body and for that price it is not that expensive at all. Having it once a month is good enough to supplement your body with minerals and vitality.  Also avoid having green tea, carrot stuff or fried food when you on that day when you have nutrious herbs like ginseng.

This cleanser uses surfactant derived from coconut which is actually gentle.  Other ingredients are for hydration (avoid drying the skin) , pH control, preservatives and relaxing scent.  There isn't any essential oil or added synthetic fragrance or colouring.

Texture: Transparent gel that doesn't foam which just glide on my skin.  It has scent of chamomile which is relaxing.  No added colouring or synthetic fragrance.  It has pH 5.5 which is good for sensitive skin.

Review: Since it is a cleanser that doesn't stay on skin for more than a minute, expectation from this cleanser should be gentle, doesn't irritate skin and for some nice relaxing scent should be good enough.  I like the texture of this gel cleanser and the scent.  Using this cleanser makes cleansing very relaxing, non irritating, not drying and enjoyable. It doesn't remove waterproof makeup though so use a first cleanser before that.  I can  also use it in the morning to clean my skin.  It is a mild gentle cleanser even on days my skin is red from the weather.  

Overall: It is a very mild nice fungal safe cleanser for every skin type.

If you are not into the above mentioned, here is this Anti aging: Easy Ginseng recipe that doesn't require you to exchange your soul for it.

Ginseng is one of the most desirable herbs for it's ability to nourish the body, improve vitality and calm the mind.

I usually buy Eu Yan Sang ginseng which is 5 years matured American Ginseng.  Have it once a month early in the morning is a very good nourishing potion for glowing skin.

Ginseng however is not for people that had surgery and for the first 3 months of pregnancy.

Here is a very easy simple recipe. (2 person)

Ingredients:

10g of ginseng (about 1 packet)

2 bottle of chicken essence (each bottle is 70g)

140ml boiled water

Things needed:

ceramic bowls (no steel or plastic)

slow cooker /double boiler 

Instruction:

1.  Just put in the ginseng, chicken essence and then the boiled water into the slow cooker.

2.  Cook it on low heat for about 6hours.

3.  Drink it early in the morning on empty stomach.

Recommended method:

The ingredient being Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate which is dervied from fatty acid of coconut.

The allergen is Limonene.

 The rest the ingredients are to avoid dryness, brigtening, scent, texture, surfactant and preservatives. 

Texture: It is a creamy opaque cleanser that foam up with rubbing with some water.  It has pH6-7(neutral) without adding water.  As for the scent it is actually hard for me to describe.  It has this low woody milk with dried up orange skin scent (not the fresh orange scent).

Review:  Since it is a cleanser that is not going to stay on the skin more than 1min, it is not going to do much.  As long it is not irritating your skin it should be alright.  It does remove my non waterpoof makeup and cleanses the skin well.  I unfortunately do not like the scent of this cleanser.  As for brightening, I am not sure since this is just a cleanser 😂

Overall: It is a decent cleanser for those that have no problem with pH6-7 and not paranoid about fungal acne safe.

It has a simple straightforward ingredients that is made for acne prone skin.

Salicylic Acid 2% is actually BHA .  

BHA is an actives that is very popular to exfoliating the pores of the skin to clear acne and other skin issues.  It is popular to deal with those clogged pores, whiteheads and blackheads.  2% is a very good amount to deal with acne.

Dehydroxyxanthan Gum is a emulsifier. 

Texture: It has pH of 3.0 – 3.5 which is slightly acidic.  It has slightly viscous watery feeling that absorbs fast onto my skin without any residue.  As for the scent, it has faint scent of citrus which disappeared once the serum absorbed.

Review: I use it twice a week.   It is recommended to wait 20min before applying other skincare products but I just don't have that kind of patience and my skin cannot deal with the dryness.  I don't feel any sting when I was using this BHA.  

I find that it does help to bring up those underground acne and for the existing acne, it does help to clear it up with time (1 week and above depending on your skin) .  It is not irritating or cause redness on my skin.

If you have weak skin&if it sting, try applying it less or only twice a week.  

Some people will purge (the area that you usually breakout will have more acne before it start healing at week 3) .

Overall: It is a gentle BHA for acne prone skin that is fungal safe.  I think it is good for someone that just started to use actives or have mild to moderate acne.
