Pyungkang Yul Essence Toner is made with 90% Astragalus Membranaceus extract to moisturize and protect the skin. It also helps with cell regeneration, smoothing out uneven textures for a healthier complexion.
How to use:
After cleansing your skin, gently pat an even layer of Pyunkang yul Essence Toner on your face and neck.
1. Skin vitality
- Rich nutrition contained in‘Isoflavonoid’in Astragalus Membranaceus Extract instead of purified water helps regenerate and protect the skin.
2. Highly concentrated essence
- Viscous and highly concentrated toner is rapidly absorbed into your skin, leaving it moist and soft.
3. Moisturizing layer
- For easily dried skin, let it be absorbed 3~5 times to help remove inner dryness and make moist skin all day long.
Purpose: It revitalizes dull and dry skin and enhances skin protection resulting in effective and healthy skincare.

Astragalus Membranaceus Extract is 90%. Also known as Mongolian Milkvetch.
It is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Oriental medicine. On skin, it is to enhance your skin immune system and reduce inflammation. It is a great skin ingredients for acne prone skin and for sensitive dry skin type.
Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane is unique silicone that works with water liquid so it is a nice emollient.
Hydroxyethyl cellulose is a thickener.
Arginine is antioxidant that increase skin hydration and protect skin.
Still do an allergy test at a small part of your face (ex, at your jaw) before you put it on your face since there are some people that mentioned they have allergies with the ingredients of this toner. Also there are some people such as pregnant, nursing mother, transplant recipient, autoimmune disease and young children should not use it.
Texture and Scent: To me, it smells of slight sweet herbal. It is very thin like water with very slight viscosity and absorbs fast into my skin with just patting.

Review: I have been using it for more than a month as a hydrating toner. It doesn't irritate my skin and calms my skin redness. I find it useful to keep me hydrated when I layer it 3times during the day since I am living where humidity is at 92% at all times. I pat it on my face without cotton pad.
Using it alone as moisturiser at night isn't enough for my combination skin.
It doesn't cause me fungal acne or clogged my skin.
Overall: It is a great hydrating toner. Unless you are allergic to Astragalus Membranaceus or
pregnant, nursing mother, transplant recipient, have autoimmune disease and young children.this is a good hydrating toner even for acne prone skin.
