Few years ago, steam cream was really popular because of how soft and great it was for dry skin.
If you don't know what steam cream is, it is actually the name of the process of making steam cream. A shot of hot steam is used to fuse the ingredients together. The result is soft moisturiser. When applied to skin, the moisturising ingredients are released to the skin making the moisturising effect last longer.

Borntree gold milk steam cream comes in a 200g plastic jar. It doesn't have a spatula inside. The packaging is simple but pretty. I do like if it could come in a tube instead of jar since I am spatula person especially for a jumbo product.
This jar contains milk complex which is 61280mg, goat milk, horse fat, shea butter, beeswax, glycerin, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. The ingredients are all very geared towards dry skin type and during winter where you needs to trap the moisture from leaving the skin.
As it is made with steam cream technology, the first ingredient is water which makes the soft cream light in nature when applied. The finish is slight dewy matte if you pat it dry.
Niacinamide is well known for brightening the skin. Licorice root extract is presented in this cream which is for the soothing purpose anti-irritant with anti-inflammatory and skin soothing capabilities.

Ingredients wise alright except for the fragrance that some people might not like. It smells like baby powder to me. The scent gradually lessen and disappeared by the one month that I have opened the products actually. On my skin, the scent gradually disappeared around like 15minutes or I probably just got accustomed to the scent.
As for the moisturising power, it last more than 8 hours for me. I can't let Borntree gold milk steam cream stay on my face longer since it is time I bath and wash my face at night. I have combination skin (oily T and normal on other zone). I am also acne prone skin. It works great under makeup especially for those that does those 'baking' with powder makeup. While it doesn't cause much issue when I use it at night, it does clogged my pores when I use it too much during the day on hot humid weather. I think it is because my skin doesn't react that well with heavy moisture, dust or other things trap under my skin. It works great for my body that is super dry.
Overall, Borntree gold milk steam cream is great for people with dry skin, looking for occlusive, don't have problem with the ingredient, not allergic to any of the ingredients, living in cold weather, loving jumbo size moisturiser.
