Korean brand, Klairs has been one of my favourite skincare products which made skincare products for sensitive skin.  Recently they have reformulated some products and their sunscreen is one of them.  Sunscreen is very important to protect your skin from the harmful sun ray.  Klairs Mid Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40 PA++ is a sunscreen made to reduce the redness on acne prone skin.

Klairs Mid Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40 PA++ has a hygienic screw bottle which makes it easy to carry during travel without worrying about it spilling off.

The bluish tinge is because of Guaiazulene which reduce the heat of the skin.  There are sun protection ingredients which are zinc oxide and titanium oxide acts as physical blockers.  There are other plants ingredients that provides hydrating, anti aging and brightening effect on the skin.  Certain ingredients such as lavender, Adenosine, arginine, eucalyptus and ferment helps to calm down the skin from the heat cause by the sun ray.

Klairs Mid Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40 PA++ is sunscreen with the texture of light lotion which turns really soft, soothe the skin and absorbs easily on my skin leaving it with subtle glow.  It does not dry my skin and provide effective protection on my skin.  This new formulation does not leave a white cast on the skin but rather a brighter look.  However, it may not work for darker skin tone. One may try a sample first.

Klairs Mid Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40 PA++ feels cooling for a few seconds upon application which is nice. There is some sort of plasticky scent which I am not sure but luckily the scent disappeared a few seconds after application.

It is a physical sunscreen so one need to apply it for at least few more minutes for it to be more effective.  It also works as primer or as makeup base under makeup, does not clogged my pores and does not pile with a few foundation or BB cushion that I have tried so I don’t have to worry about sunscreen messing with my makeup. The bluish tinge act as a natural tone correction to correct the redness on my face to make my skin look even.

Overall, Klairs Mid Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40 PA++ is a nice physical sunscreen for every day usage and work under makeup and for sensitive skin.
