CHEE CHEONG FUN RECIPE/ STEAMED RICE NOODLES/ HONG KONG STYLE CHEE CHEONG FUN

I guess many knew about that famous leaning tower of Teluk Intan, Malaysia and "the must eat" food when you are in Teluk Intan. Today, I am sharing the similar food recipe of this famous Chee cheong fun or the direct translation will be the ‘intestine’.

There are actually few shops that selling the same thing but they amount of ingredients and price are different. Tourist will usually patronise the famous Liew Kee Chee Cheong Fun shop in Jalan Hill the road which only has takeaway.  The locals will go to San Siew Yeah Chee Cheong Fun further away from the town, Jalan Sultan Abdullah. which only opens at night.

The chee cheong fun in Teluk Intan is actually different because we eat it with green pickles chillies and the ingredients is mixed up inside the noodles itself. However, many who are used to plain chee cheong fun will not find it interesting or tasty.

  1. My skin has fallen in love with Chica y Chico: Asta-Z, Tota-S and B-Salic have all become staples in my skincare routine. I had a prescription for the Differin (which cost me $50 US for a small bottle), but it irritated my skin so much and gave me flaky dry and patchy skin, even when I stopped using it nightly and switched to 2-3 days a week. The B-Salic does not do that at all using it 3 times a week. Tea tree oil has become my Holy Grail of skin care, it has been the only thing that has healed and prevented my cystic acne breakouts. The Cosrx pimple patches have also been life savers to cover and heal new acnes. Been using Laneige balancing combination to oily line, as it has come to the US and carried by Target stores and are also available on their website, yay! A friend actually sat me down a few days ago and said she knows I am hyper sensitive about treating and preventing acne, but she has never seen anyone with skin so smooth and even - on a day I wasn't even wearing makeup! I wanted to cry I was so happy, it made me feel so good about myself and my skin :-) I was like, "Wow! This stuff really works!" I got some samples of Skin & Lab Red Serum that I really like, too, and I think this item will be added to my routine. Whoops, sry for the long post, haven't been on for a while lol!

  2. Hi @Luscious ! It is so good to see you again! No, your post is not long at all! I love reading comments especially from you! Differin is like retinoid so not everyone can use it. Besides, many had the 'purging' session of one month when they started using differin with the flaky, dryness, more acne and irritated skin. Since tea tree is your HG, I suggest that you stick with it since it is cheaper than differin. I am so happy for you that you have finally found the products for you =) . It must be true since even your friend must want to know your secret to your current skin now. I tried a sample of The Skin&Lab red serum and it is the cheaper dupe for the Estee Lauder night repair =) .I think using it at night will work the best. As for Laneige, it has been many favourites but I haven't yet to try it XP . Anyway, it is so good to see you here again =).

  3. I prefer the ingredients in the red serum, American cosmetics have way too many chemicals versus the more natural ingredients in a lot of the Korean products (like fruit extracts and essential oils). I think that is why my skin has shown such a great improvement, the Korean products have been a lot more caring and sensitive on my skin. Plus, they are more conscious of making products free of harmful ingredients, like parabens. I watched a great Wishtrend video with Eunice showing to use the red serum for massage at night before applying the chica b-salic, I can't wait to try it out that way! I have a friend who is very into and knowledgeable about essential oils, so I can't thank her enough for the tea tree oil tips. I actually made a homemade spot treatment using tea tree & ylang ylang which has just been amazing for my acne. I just made a toner and a face wash to test out as well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they keep my skin clear and fresh, but I love the Laneige balancing toner, emulsion and moisturizer - they just feel so good to put on and smell so fresh. They have worked well to make my skin look bright and fresh/dewey, without looking or feeling greasy and oily. That's my personal opinion as one who has sensitive, oily and cystic & whitehead acne prone skin, well, not so much anymore, yay! Actually, my skin was clear until I tried an Avon face sunscreen, which gave me both cystic & whitehead acne, but using my above products the acne, even the cystic one, has healed up in about a week (normally my cystic acne would take literally months to heal/fade). Oh, hey, have you posted about face sunscreen? I have had no luck with any for my face, even the ones that claim they are gentle/non-pore clogging/non-greasy, etc. I've pretty much given up at this point and just make sure I use CC with sunblock and keep out of the sun/keep my face covered as much as possible when I do go out and know I will be under the sun for a while.
