Senze Milky Skin Face and Body Brightening

Senze Milky Skin Face and Body Brightening is a brightening cream. The instruction is to apply and leave it for 3-5minutes before washing it off with plain water.  The cream comes in opaque white and easily blended onto the skin. One can use on any parts of the face and body.

The cream does provide brightening effect that looks natural and lasted for more than 12 hours on my skin and it is not drying. Layer more for stronger brightening and whitening effect.

It doesn't contain alcohol, paraben and fragrance. Senze Milky Skin Face and Body Brightening comes in a hygienic airless pump plastic bottle, a feature that I like because it is easy to carry around during travel.

There are brightening ingredients which are arbutin, vitamin C, Morus alba bark extract(mulbery), niacinamide, chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract,Titanium Dioxide and Ascorbic Acid.

Moisturising ingredients such as Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe, Gingko Biloba, Salix Alba Bark extract, Red Ginseng Root Extract, Cinnamomum Cassia Bark Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydrolyzed Aspergillus/Ginseng Extract Ferment, Lecithin, Glycerin.

However, do check the ingredient list for potential allergens.

As for smell, it smells faint of plastic which is common for products without fragrance.

Overall, Senze Milky Skin Face and Body Brightening is gentle long lasting brightening cream which is easy to use and if you not allergic to any of the ingredients.

In beauty products, cyclopentasiloxane is used as a conditioner, delivery agent, lubricant and solvent. Like all other silicones, this ingredient makes the sunscreen easily spreadable.  Silicone(dimethicone) is after water so it might not play well if applied a lot.  Zinc oxide is the fourth ingredient so it is actually good for the skin since zinc does help to protect skin and heal skin.

Always21 Sun Perfect Aloe Daily Sun Milk also contains parfum, paraben, algae, aloe vera juice (3%) and titanium oxide. There is also Butylene glycol which is low on the list and so it is better for someone whose skin don't work that well with butylene glycol.

Always21 Sun Perfect Aloe Daily Sun Milk doesn't have the white cast when applied on skin. The sunscreen has milk emulsion texture and also spread easily on my skin. However, it does clogged my pores if I applied too much since my skin don't work that well with few of the ingredients which are titanium oxide and dimethicone (it is high on the list).  It dries down to a matte looking and feels soft when i touch it with my hands.  It doesn't cause piling on the skin which is great for people who use makeup.

Overall, Always21 Sun Perfect Aloe Daily Sun Milk is good for someone with oily skin or combination skin and have the love for water based sunscreen.

I know, I know that my review COSRX One step Pimple Clear Pad is probably just going to be buried under all the millions of review out there😅.

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad is the star product of COSRX.  Some even said it get rid of acne overnight but of course you aren't getting that kind of rave from me 😊.

So, here is what I think.  The packages does look like the dupe of Stridex but since I haven't tried Stridex before so I have no idea how it compares to Stridex. Anyhow, here is what I think of this product after using it for 3 weeks.

The jar is sure way bigger than cotton pads probably to make it easier to take out the products. It would be better if there is a tweezer to take the product out than rather with just plain fingers since it can contaminate the products😵.

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad comes with 70 sheets of cotton pads. The cotton pads has an embossed side and a soft side (non embossed) side.  Both of the side comes with different features

 Embossed side-  Exfoliates / Regulates sebum production / Removes impurities
Smooth side-  Hydrates / Promotes smoother skin / Improves facial skin texture

Personally I feel both of them are the same except that the embossed side exfoliate the skin better as I can see some dirt on that side.  Not sure about the smooth side claiming to hydrates my skin since I think the ingredients those pads soaked in is the same😶.

COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad smells of light orange peel which is one of the ingredients inside the solution soaked so no added fragrance in there.  As for the ingredients the first ingredients is the Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water which provides the cleansing, regulates sebum, reduces inflammation of acne prone skin.  Salix Alba Willow Water is actually very gentle so for people who are used to strong AHA, BHA, peels or other acne products will not feel or see any difference in using this product😎.

Other ingredients that helps to calm down acne is Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil.  There is Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol which is hydrating to the skin so it is also suitable for dry skin type.

There is Allantoin present which is an ingredients that is part of anti aging products and thus using this products will help condition the skin to be 'younger'😍.

As for the effect on my skin, I have actually finish the whole jar of Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pad and I think it is gentle.  It is not really making my acne disappeared overnight(I have really stubborn acne skin ) but it does reduce the severity of my acne and make the pimples come to a head faster.  I do need to combine this Cosrx Pimple Clear Pad with other products. Personally I use it as toner to clean my skin and prepare my skin for other skincare products.

Overall, COSRX One Step Pimple Clear Pad is a gentle exfoliation products for skin types that is dull, acne prone, dry and have never tried other strong prescription acne products.  However, it is best not to scrub the skin too hard with the pads as frequent hard friction can cause sensitivity and redness.

If you are already trying prescription products such as tretinoin and loving those, I think you will probably just find this 'meh' (meaning nothing great) or it won't do a thing on your skin.

Nowadays, there are more dermatologist brands that are producing skincare products that appeal to the mass market where brighter, fairer and clear skin is always the "In" thing here in Asia.  It is mostly called cosmeceutical which means combining dermatologist approach into skincare products😀.

Its efficacies are whitening, moisturizing, calming and detoxification. The main ingredient is Glutathione, which is recognized as the world efficient whitening ingredients. It also has anti-aging and detoxification properties, to help whiten and firm skin. Glutathione whitening effect is 8.5-fold than the Arbutin and anti-aging effect is hundredfold than the vitamin. Dr. Althea Power Whitening Glutathione Mask uses a jelly bio-fiber for blocking the active ingredient into the mask, which can carry up to 8 times more essence than silk sheet mask. The Bio-fiber mask contains no fragrance, no hormones and no heavy metals.


How to use:
Tone skin after facial cleansing, take out the mask from pouch. Apply the mask on your face and wait for around 20 to 30 minutes. If there is essence left, use fingers to massage gently for better absorbance.

Dr.Althea Power Whitening Glutathione Mask is a hydrogel type mask which is separated into two pieces which makes the hydrogel sheet mask fits my face well and doesn't slide off. The material is like other hydrogel .

The sheet mask is sandwiched between a plastic and pearl paper.

I can't remember if there any scent to it.

Be careful and place the patterns one outside while the smooth one on your face.

The hyrogel sheet mask feels cooling and it does get thinner as time goes by and so it must remove once it is reaches the point of 1 hour or maybe 1hour 30minutes . 1 hour is quite long and the sheet mask probably will be as thin as snake skin by then 😂.

The ingredients inside are mostly brightening ingredients and hydrating the skin at the same time.  It does contain plant extract such as rose, licorice, grape, coconut oil, green tea extract, Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, jojoba oil, castor oil and yuzu extract.  There are also propolis, Lactobacillus Ferment,Niacinamide, Titanium Dioxide, Glutathione(100ppm),Pearl Powder and Hydrolyzed Collagen which are for brightening the skin😊.

Search on the CosDNA shows all the ingredients are mostly in green and acne causing ingredients are very low in list .  Still check the ingredients for potential allergen since I don't typical react to sheet mask.  You might not be the same as me so do have a look at the ingredient list😶.

I don't really respond much to whitening products especially sheet mask so I guess other than hydration and temporary brightening,  you won't see me rave about the of 'instant magical' effect some people rave about in their reviews about sheet mask.

Overall, Dr.Althea Power Whitening Glutathione Mask is a hydrogel sheet mask if you are willing to splurge on a brightening mask for a special occasion. It does give a better effect in terms of hydration and longer wear duration compared to the usual paper sheet masks.

 It is actually transparent so no matter how thick I put on my face, one can't actually sees it on photo.

😍 Canmake Transparent Finish Powder comes in Pearl Natural and Pearl Lavender.  The one I have here is the Pearl Lavender which explain the Lavender colour.

Of course the light sturdy plastic packaging is the center of the beautiful princess appearance that strikes my heart.

It comes with a mirror and the sponge is soft.  It easier to use brush for easier application but the sponge will do as well.  The powder is really fine and soft.  It doesn't contain fragrance so it is good if you doesn't like fragrance makeup product.

Canmake Transparent Finish Powder does contain gold flecks that provide slight brightening but not to the point that looking like a disco ball and you will only notice the gold fleck if you are 1cm away from my face. From far, it is just a nice translucence skin.  The powder feels soft to touch and does keep the face matte for 8 hours. It doesn't break me out or cause me clogged my pores, easily wash off using my normal cleanser and it is not waterproof.

However, it will crease if applied too many times(more than 5 times) on the skin so ease up on the amount of powder use.

Overall, Canmake Transparent Finish Powder is a pretty good oil control for face, affordable price and for you who just want to tone down the oily sleek of skin that some foundation or BB cream makes.
